UUsuario invitadoMy first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3.
The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”.
Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review.
1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels.
2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative.
3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious.
4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable.
Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!

범범증청ㄉlvxingｺﾒﾝﾄ¡Muy recomendable! ¡Superó mis expectativas! El amable personal de recepción fue muy servicial. Está abierto las 24 horas. Incluso me saludaron por mi nombre al hacer el check-out. Recuerda quitarte la funda de la almohada y llevarla a recepción. La habitación era espaciosa y tranquila, la cama era suave e higiénica, y el baño era cómodo. Incluso podrías encontrarte con un camarero repartiendo piruletas en el vestíbulo.

Fully equipped kitchen letting us buy groceries from nearby supermarkets to taste Aussie food.
Daily rate is way lower than CBD hotels but location is very convenient.

No hay nada más, así que deberá traer su propio champú, acondicionador y gel de ducha.

Su satisfacción con la habitación dependerá del estado de ánimo del viajero.
En particular, las puertas de todas las habitaciones se cerraban de golpe con tanta fuerza que fue difícil acostumbrarse el primer día. Por favor, busquen la manera de reducir el ruido.
El personal de recepción fue increíblemente amable y acogedor.

El baño, con tubo de sofoco profundo y TV integrada, se siente como un spa privado.Sin embargo, se prepara para los ”add-ons”. El desayuno en Epicurean es fantástico pero barato, y el estacionamiento de valet es un coste adicional considerable. Si quieres sentirte como una celebridad para un fin de semana (y tener el presupuesto), vale la pena, pero mantenga un ojo abierto por sus ofertas de estancia 3-for-2.

UUsuario invitadoWe booked W sydney months in advance with breakfast included and is worth it . Food choices are plenty during breakfast and can order different eggs style and cooking preparation during breakfast and can order different hot or cooled selection of drinks as well. Hotel is clean and location is near china town ,paddys market , and harbour easily accessible to townhall in a walkable distance of 7-10 mins away. There is a fireworks show on saturday night that lasted 5-7minutes.. There are lots of restaurants around the area and ice cream shops as well . There is even a park at the back of the hotel and a playground for kids. I highly recommend this hotel. There is 2 pool in the hotel at 22nd floor and 29th floor . The hotel is beside Imax cinema .

UUsuario invitadoUn hotel maravilloso con el personal más amable. Christine y Hanni (perdón si los nombres están mal escritos) fueron muy amables y simpáticas. Siempre nos saludaban cuando entrábamos o salíamos del hotel. La ubicación es increíble y está muy cerca de todo. Este será el hotel en el que me hospedaré a partir de ahora cuando visite Sídney. El personal es el mejor personal de hotel que he conocido 💕

UUsuario invitadoBreakfast was excellent but the room we had on level one was not good. It had steps going down to the bed. As you went into the room the bathroom was on the left tea making on the right then steps down to bed area with TV and lounge to sit on. Not good for us with mobility issue in our late seventies . Had to go up the steps to make tea or use the bathroom. Management explained the room was recently renovated and yes we could tell that but didn’t even have a window to look out. It was so high up in the wall. He said that was the only room available for what I had booked. I have stayed there before and had a lovely room so very disappointed this time.

PpornphunWe had a brilliant experience at the Langham for our wedding anniversary! I forgot how much I like the Langham brand. From the pink ribbon around the toilet paper to the sleep ammenities (we asked for the sleep pillow mist and the room diffuser) to the suggested third eye massage technique and the chamomile tea before bedtime, we felt totally pampered and taken care of. Reservation was made for our celebratory dinner with fine steak dinner over the fantastic view of the Opera House. In room breakfast was delivered on time and the quantity copious. The Spanish bell boy was helpful and friendly. We were also upgraded to a harbour view room to our delight. Location was convenient to walk either to Barangaroo or the Rocks, for ferry ride or metro. Very pleased to have chosen The Langham, it was absolutely the right decision for us!
