My first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3. The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”. Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review. 1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels. 2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative. 3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious. 4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable. Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!

This property has a MEMORABLE STAY tagline, clearly i will never forget a $450/night hotel where the Air Conditioner is broken during the summer set to 18 degrees but was 25.5 all night through to late morning.  no compensation for the lost day which resulted in a restless night and therefore a ruined next day. They happily whisked us to another room late the next day and behaved as if the lost day was to be expected and charged to the customer  Asked trip for help they could not convince the property to make any compensation inwas offered coins but was a far cry from the $450 per night price, considering im at an emerald level, didn’t really help that much.  I will need to spend more in the future to reap that minor offset .  Lesson learned, might be better to book directly with the property next time or just avoid this hotel all together

Un buen hostal en pleno centro de Sídney. La ubicación es inmejorable: justo enfrente de la Estación Central. El tranvía y Haymarket están a la vuelta de la esquina. Algunos empleados fueron muy amables, mientras que otros fueron simplemente correctos. La habitación y el baño estaban limpios y cumplían con los estándares habituales. Tuve la suerte de tener compañeros de habitación muy simpáticos. La próxima vez que visite Sídney, sin duda me alojaré en YHA.

We booked W sydney months in advance with breakfast included and is worth it . Las opciones de comida son abundantes durante el desayuno y pueden ordenar diferentes estilos de huevos y preparación de cocina durante el desayuno y también pueden ordenar diferentes selección de bebidas calientes o refrigeradas. El hotel está limpio y está cerca de la ciudad china, el mercado de paddys y el puerto fácilmente accesible a la sala de estar a una distancia de caminar de 7-10 minutos. Hay muchos restaurantes alrededor de la zona y tiendas de helado también . Hay incluso un parque en la parte de atrás del hotel y un parque infantil. Recomiendo muy a este hotel. Hay 2 piscinas en el hotel en el piso 22 y 29 . El hotel está junto al cine Imax .

My experience at this hotel was excellent from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were professional and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the quality of service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay

Excelente ubicación, justo enfrente de QVB. El check-in también fue sencillo y la recepcionista nos permitió hacer el check-in temprano, a las 11:00, lo cual fue muy de agradecer. Las habitaciones parecían nuevas, posiblemente porque las habían remodelado, son muy amplias y tienen todo lo que se necesita en un hotel de negocios. ¡Sin duda volveré a alojarme aquí cuando visite Sídney!

Excelente ubicación, Chinatown está detrás del hotel, el transporte es conveniente ✌️Recomendado 👍

Beautiful hotel to visit in the city and staffs are very kind and nice. Very short distance to Barangaroo reserve, perfect place to stroll after dinner.

Perfect stay in the heart of Burwood! The location can’t be beaten—walking distance to Westfield Mall, Burwood Park, and countless Asian eateries. The guesthouse has a charming historic vibe with polished wooden floors, plus modern perks like free WiFi and a coin-operated laundry. The host was super friendly and helped us store luggage after check-out.
