Breakfast is provided early in the room, including bread, various types of jams and butter, milk, orange juice, and a variety of cereal options. Tea bags are also available. 5. There’s a free washing machine and laundry powder, but no dryer. 6. The location is within a 20-minute drive from Launceston. 7. If you want a quiet and comfortable space, this is a great choice.

Staff great! Clean, warm room. Food at the hotel really nice. Friendly low cost place to stay.

Information about checking in was sent to us via email a day before were were due. Staircase was narrow, so was quite difficult to bring large luggage up. Room looks wonderful and tastefully done. We had the suite, and as such, has an adjoining bedroom as well. The balcony was nice for a sit down to relax. Breakfast provided at the ground floor dining room as simple but sufficient for us. Bread toast, cereals, juicies, tea & coffee. We stayed 2 nights, The location is not far from Launceston main CBD. The neighbourhood was quiet at night, so was quite peacefull. Street parking in front of it is available, but parking charges takes effect from 9am, but did not impact us much as we are out.

The hotel staffs were welcoming, friendly and parking was also included in our stay. As we are a family of 5 pax, the hotel has provided two rooms which are interconnected. This makes it convenient for us as a family to connect. The rooms were clean and tidy with great showers. Breakfast was included in our stay with a great selection of ala carte breakfast, with good selection of beverages and coffee. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay at Discovery Parks Hadspen. Friendly staff, easy check-in, and a clean, comfortable cabin. Quiet park with a handy onsite IGA and a great location just a short drive from Launceston. Good value for money and would happily stay again.

Cataract Gorge is 15min walk Clean: Room was very clean with fresh linen and daily housekeeping Lift: Available and fast – crucial if you have heavy bags Quiet: Didn’t hear street noise despite being central Bed: Comfortable and good size Overall great value and location. Splendid experience at the Gorge Deluxe Room. Very clean and spacious with a lovely view of the river and hills nearby.  Plenty of hiking routes available nearby which is ideal for those looking for a good walking experience.  For dog lovers, walking Archie (the silo dog) is also a great add-on!  First time for us walking a dog at a 5-star hotel.

Good location, can walk into town. Basic amenities and services. Liked the guest laundry available. Car park on a slope so parking was a challenge with elder parents (but many hilly estates in Launceston so it’s expected).
