Это однозначно лучшее место в городе. Но! За 2 ночи так и не было электричества (во всем городе). Включали генератор с 19:30 до 22:00 примерно. И самый большой минус - количество комаров, от которых не спасает даже москитная сетка, это ужас. Сам отель красивый, хороший ресторан (если говорить об Эфиопии), территория ухоженная, персонал тоже отличный. Если уж ехать туда, то в это место, лучше вряд ли найдете…

Pagué por una suite en la que ni siquiera se puede tener dos maletas abiertas. Las duchas no tienen cortinas lo que hace que después de ducharte está todo el suelo lleno de agua. No hay ni champú. Solo jabones a los que sacar espuma es hasta complicado. Además puedes ver las cañerías al aire y o******s. Las camas son muy pequeñas. No hay ningún tipo de vistas para ser una suite y estar el lodge donde está situado. El desayuno es completamente básico, pero esto puede ser porque no hay turistas en Etiopia. En recepción tienen muchos certificados de recomendación de Trip Advisor pero sinceramente este Lodge necesita una «buena mano de pintura». Es un buen 3 Estrellas y ya… 🤷🏻♂️

Rooms with amazing views but you have to pick the tukul rooms. The other hotel rooms are looking at construction sites. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Food is nice and they are trying their best to make it quick. I loved the place and will stay there again.

I stayed at the Sora Lodge during the first of St. Mary in late October, 2023. We were welcomed with a beautiful tea ceremony. My room was comfortable and had a beautiful view. The staff was warm and friendly. The lodge is in a quiet and private location but convenient to all the beautiful churches in the area. It is a wonderful place and I hope to be able to return again.

The lodge was excellent, view breathtaking, the hospitality and staff were only friendly, they were exceptional in client service delivery. From the time, we entered the place, we were greeted with warmth and exceptional care was taken with my 80+ mother, who was also able to see the awesome churches with courtesy, patience and knowledge of Alex the tour guide. Highly recommendable. Sora Lodge is an adventure on its own, with the airy clean rooms, architect, placement, art, stone placements, rooms with a view, spa, restaurant, relaxation areas that overlooks the mountains, serenity and peacefulness and of course the bar. Thank you for your warmth and hospitality. Well worth staying there!

lovely stone cabins with beautifuls views, quiet setting, friendly staff with good Engish language skills. We were lucky to arrive at a quiet moment in the conflict and had the place and the churches to ourselves. Magnifcent mountain setting in Ethiopia

I have traveled around the world, and can say that the Sora Lodge is a GREAT place to stay. Staff arranged a complete sightseeing itinerary, and provided the very best in guides for us. Food was amazing in every way. Entire staff was very attentive, and really went the distance to make this a great stay. Thank for Sora Lodge!

My husband and I with out two children stayed at Sora Lodge for three nights. Our room which was the rock hewn family room had amazing view and is beautifully decorated. The sunset bar and the restaurant has also a wonderful views. The food at the restaurant was delicious and they have their own vegetables farm. The lodge has some gardens and playing areas for kids and our kids loved it to be there. We strongly recommend for family or for anyone who is visiting Lalibela to enjoy the beautiful lodge and the kind staff.

The Sora Lodge is the best hotel we have stayed during our two weeks holiday in the norther part of Ethiopia. There were no may tourists in the area following the recent conflict in the area most of the hotels are closed but Sora Lodge remained opened and served us with all the services they offered. The views from our room, the restaurant and the sunset bars was breathtaking. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We did organize tour of the churches and hiking with them, and it went well. We really enjoyed the Lodge and their services very much and I strongly recommend the lodge for anyone traveling to Lalibela.
