Beautiful property located in the town itself. It's easy to go to nearby places. Staffs are very helpful and courteous. They even arranged hot water for my baby at midnight. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone visiting thekkady.

We booked a room for two nights. Unfortunately it's nothing like what they have advertised. Don't be fooled by the name. It is literally in the middle of the town. Rooms: spacious & comfortable with a good view. But it looks old. Bathrooms: flush wasn't working multiple times. They fixed it though. Wifi: didn't get wifi 90% of the time. Food: decent breakfast and dinner. The dinner we had on the first night was horrible. In my opinion stick to the basics. Don't order anything fancy. Parking: decent parking space. Animal spotting: none. Overall experience: quite average.

Our stay was excellent. Everyone starting from manager to other staff were polite helpful and prompt. The manager even arranged the tour activities for us at discounted price

Grand thecady is located very close to the market. Acomodation / room is good with all necessary items. Reception was promptly respond to my querries even before reaching. Over all service was quite satisfactry. Room was clean and well maintained. Food was good. I stayed there for one night with my family. I will recommend this property.
