Borneo Hotel Kuching

best front desk staff I ever met. clean and very spacious modern room. We stayed twice and had rooms at the backside: no noice. Wifi might be not strong enough, but we had a Malaysian SIm, so that was no problem to us. location is good: within a short walk of river, restaurants, musea.

Highly recommend this hotel which is at a good location within walking distance to the Kuching’s city center. The rooms are clean and equipped with toiletries, hair dryer and kettle. Good shower with strong water pressure although the floor is a bit slippery. Staff are all very friendly and helpful which makes the stay very enjoyable. Delicious food and complimentary breakfast available at the cafe. Will definitely stay again.

Nice hotel close to the main important sites. Very good breakfast with a nice selection of savory and sweet options. Renewed rooms, very functional bathrooms. Everything is super clean. The real plus is the staff: super attentive and extremely kind, they make you feel at home.

Great hotel excellent staff, great location Very good value as well. Excellent coffee for breakfast all in all a very very good experience. The time itself is also very sweet time. Great to see the orangutans et cetera. Well worth a stopover.

Brilliant Hotel to stay as its in a perfect location. Rooms ate super clean and the front desk service is fantastic. We had breakfast with room. Bathrooms ate super clean and I must say the breakfast variety is superb. We are certainly coming back here again.

Stepping into the Borneo hotel was charmed by its modern updates. Our room was a haven of comfort – plush bed, well furnished, and spotless bathroom. The staff treated us like royalty catering to any needs plus the hotel is well located, a stones throw from the Waterfront. And the Malaysian breakfast...oh my! From flaky roti canai to fragrant curries, each bite was a burst of flavor.

Great location especially if you're planning to be in the heart of town, walking distance to the hot spots. Hotel cafe surprisingly serves a legit Caesar Salad. Staff are also attentive and friendly. Overall, a lovely, no frills place to stay at a great price. Looking forward to coming back to stay for business.

We stayed two nights stay in this hotel. Staff members were all really polite, sweet and helpful. Room was spacious and clean and the hotel itself is interesting. I would give 4,5 stars out of five if that would be possible. We stayed on the second floor and unfortenately the corridor smelled kind of stale and sometimes the same smell was in our toilet too. There also wasn't house keeping during our stay so we had to ask for more supplies from the lobby. Overall we really liked our stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel. The location is good.
