Corfu Imperial, Grecotel Beach Luxe Resort

Nous sommes allés l'année dernière et cette année. Les avions passent en dessus de nos têtes. Clientèle majoritairement russe et ukrainienne mais cet hôtel est parfait. Une petite restriction pour la nourriture le soir et à midi à la plage qui pourrait être améliorée

Para Suite Swim up: las habitaciones con vista al mar y acceso directo a la piscina privada son perfectas, nos dieron pocas atenciones nada más llegar, el servicio es perfecto. El gimnasio es bastante grande. El acceso al mar es fácil, el mar es claro y limpio. Los restaurantes son buenos. Pequeño piso en la aplicación Grecotel bastante lenta que merece una actualización.

Fantástica ubicación, rodeada por el mar en un parque como península. Gran buffet de desayuno, con todo lo que puedas desear. El registro fue un poco tedioso, tomó un poco de tiempo y los refrigerios llegaron cuando el registro estaba listo. Tuvimos una fuga de agua del techo. Arreglado rápidamente, pero nos preocupó. El mayor inconveniente fue la reserva de tumbonas. Bajando a las 8 de la mañana, se tomaron todos los mejores lugares sin una persona a la vista. Solo mantas, protector solar, agua, etc. Al avisar a recepción, la respuesta fue que no se permite reservar sin estar presente. Pero no se hizo nada al respecto. ¡Una gran ventaja fue un pastel de cumpleaños sorpresa esperando en nuestra habitación la noche del cumpleaños de mi esposa!

This is a hotel of dreams. We had the most amazing stay with no faults whatsoever. My husband commented that he genuinely didn’t believe hotels like this existed! From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave you are made to feel so welcome by staff that are so helpful and so friendly. The location is out of the world. We stayed in a swim up suite which was a few minutes walk from the main building. The beach areas are gorgeous as are the outdoor pools. The staff are regularly bringing water, fresh fruit and sometimes ice creams too if you just want to spend the day by the pool and there is the opportunity to order food and drink from there too. There is an indoor pool but we didn’t end up using this so can’t comment on it. We went to the spa to have massages which were just fabulous. The sea is so crystal clear and really warm to swim in around the peninsula. Something we will remember doing forever. There was an outdoor cinema we went to one night as well which was really good fun. The buffet breakfast was just gorgeous. So much choice and the food is changed regularly so it is fresh. There really is something for everyone there. The dinner buffet was equally amazing. I know some people are put off buffets as they can become boring or may not be the best standard but this is the best we have ever had anywhere with such choice again. We really couldn’t fault it. We also ate in the fine dining restaurant (our favourite one), the seafood restaurant and Italian. Everything was perfect and the staff were amazing. They deserve so much credit. We had such an amazing stay at this hotel and have already booked to return next year. The bar has now been set high for other holidays, I’m not sure anywhere else will beat this! Such a calm, relaxing space. We had a junior swim up suite which overlooks the main hotel and the beach. No traffic noise, just the sound of the sea lapping at the shore. Food is very very tasty and plenty of choice. Staff always have a friendly hello and respond to any requests positively and kindly, definitely 5* teamwork. Free shuttle into town where we had enough time to take a hop on hop off bus and do a bit of jewellery and clothes shopping. I also visited the spa for a signature facial, being the owner of a skin clinic I am extra fussy. I had a relaxing facial firstly and then after the mask, during which I had an arm and hand massage, I then got a harder, stimulating facial massage which I thoroughly enjoyed. A treat for anyone. We came for a relaxing holiday where we could just “be” and not have to make any plans or decisions apart from which book to read next. Well we certainly got that, I will be recommending this peaceful hotel to all of my friends who want a quality rest in beautiful surroundings. I have no doubt we will come again, thank you for having us.

I had a great time in Grecotel. But most of what I want to complement the hotel for is the fitness trainer Panayotes. I live in Florida USA and we have the best trainers there. But this guy knows his craft so good! I am a professional ballroom dancer who recently had an ankle surgery. Panayotes not only showed me a bunch of exercises for my ankle, but also showed me unique exercises for my upper back and lower body. He is a very attentive listener and super smart. I am going back home with a new knowledge about my body and a new workout routine. Thank you very much, Panayotes!

Wonderful holiday. Beautiful hotel and all the staff were friendly, helpful and professional, in particular Marianna who worked in the restaurant that jutted out into the sea. Great location if you want a quiet holiday. Choice of restaurants if you want a change from the buffet. We enjoyed it so much that we are going back this year.

From the moment you enter the hotel grounds you feel a peaceful energy & on entering the hotel, it only gets better! I stayed here on a 3 day break & immediately upon arrival we were greeted with the most exquisite hospitality. A tray of drinks and local sweets awaited us followed by a warm welcome by Christina who looked after us on our entire stay with everything detail covered & no request being too big. We had all our information swiftly processed before being shown to our stunning villa. The Plazzo di Lago Private Pool on the Rocks Villa can only be described as luxury on another level! The interior decor was just stunning, everything was crisp white and spotless! From the beautiful lounge to the whisper white bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms everything was like it had never been touched. The private infinity pool was warm and the outdoor terrace had a dining table, sun loungers and a view of the Ionion Sea. It didn't end there....accessed only by our villa was a set of stairs leading down to our on private deck on the sea ! Just breathtaking and so peaceful. For me, peace, tranquility & an escape from reality was what I wanted and this hotel delivered all this and more. Each morning & evening we ate from the buffet restaurant Mon Repos. The staff were incredible and so welcoming each night. Small touches of remembering our names and preferences made it a very personal experience. The food is incredible with so much choice for every dietary requirement. Another beautiful touch at the villa was the arrival of a floating breakfast one morning, this was just incredible & definetly something I will remember! The villa was so beautiful that we only ever left it to eat as it had everything we needed. On an evening however, we did venture through the beautiful hotel grounds on a short walk to the peninsula to capture the views over the Ionian Sea. The views are breathtaking, infact every turn you take through the hotel grounds is a photo opportunity. The hotel kindly organised us a private sunset cruise around Kommeno Bay which was such a kind gesture and it really was a memorable experience. The sunsets here are absolutely stunning and to be able to capture them at sea was truly special. I also visited their beautiful Spa which has a variety of treatments focusing on relaxation and rejuvenation. I had the most incredible massage, the staff are highly knowledgeable, professional and only added postivity to the treatments experience. My overall review of this hotel is that if you want luxury, impeccable service, staff and high standards then this is the place for you. Nothing is too much, you feel like the only guest in the hotel with the personal service and attention to detail. My only negative is that it ended all too soon! Thank you Grecotel for creating the most beautiful memories for us, we will speak of this hotel with warm regard for many years to come.

Highly recommend Grectol Imperial to anyone traveling to Corfu! We were blown away by this resort - the room, grounds, pool / beach, and restaurants were incredible. We stayed for 6 nights and didn’t want to leave. The staff across the hotel were amazing. Special shout-out to the servers at Trattoria & Wine Bar especially Aphrodite and Dimitris; and the pool staff including Clevis and the other gentleman who helped with towels and umbrellas (didn’t catch his name!). We also loved our experience with Atlantis Watersports. Our few complaints include lack of water around the resort, refillable jugs would’ve been highly appreciated; also the need to call for an iron each night was a bit inconvenient vs having one available in our room.
