This time that I stayed, there was not the best room. This is my fourth time staying there and the last trip I got to stay in the remodeled rooms which were great. This last trip. I stayed in the older one and the room was pretty stinky smelling like mildew, but it was just for one night

I enjoyed every moment there with my boyfriend. Restaurants are walking distance and you can also use bikes if needed. I enjoyed walking to the nearest beach and definitely wouldn't mind visiting back.

We booked this hotel because it was close to friends we werer visiting. There's nothing special about the place. For us it was just a bed. We had breakfast at the restaurant one morning and it too was just fine.

Kauai Shires is a gem! We absolutely loved the place. We stayed eight nights in a pool view room. The property is gorgeous, the location convenient to all parts of the island, restaurant is good, staff is good - awesome stay. We would definitely stay here again. I would say that the value of this place is amazing in comparison to what you would pay at the big name resorts. Best deal/ location/ place we’ve stayed on Kauai!!

Loved my stay at Kauai Shores! The complimentary morning yoga and free bike rental just made it for me! Super cute retro aesthetic, central location, friendly and accommodating staff - all made for the perf solo getaway!

This is a great place to stay at right by the ocean! The staff is friendly and helpful. However, the Lava Lava cafe is a total rip off, way too expensive, you will get fleeced.

Loved everything about it! Ideally, we like to stay in a one or two bedroom, however, this studio to queen bed hotel room with the garden view was perfect! Super clean, amazing garden area and swimming pool, and we love the restaurant and the waterfront Access! Staff was very friendly! It’s really cool today. Have water filtration systems around the property as well! Definitely must stay again!

The Kauai Shores Hotel is a place we highly recommend. Very clean, bright, fresh and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Great location, restaurant and proximity to everything. Walking distance to Coconut Marketplace where you'll also find a multitude of shopping and a wide variety of restaurants.
