I feel compelled to voice my concerns regarding my recent experience with Trip.com and the hotel I booked through them. The website's advertisement of airport pick-up as an included amenity was misleading, as the service was unavailable. Furthermore, the actual room I received was dirty and lacking basic amenities such as a telephone, a remote for air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. While the price point was affordable, the overall experience was unacceptable.
I urge Trip.com to take responsibility for its misleading advertisements and to ensure that its affiliated hotels meet basic standards of cleanliness and amenities. As a customer, I expect transparency and honesty from travel booking sites and hotels alike, and I believe that, it is important to hold them accountable when they fail to deliver.
I hope that my feedback will serve as a call to action for Trip.com to improve its services and prevent other travelers from encountering similar issues in the future.
