Hoteles cerca del Les Saigonais, Ho Chi Minh

Reservo una habitación familiar, dos grandes camas reinas durante el cumpleaños de mi marido. El personal es muy agradable y amable. Para siempre ayuda a llevar su equipaje o abrir la puerta de entrada del hotel. Nunca ir al techo ya que mi habitación tiene un baño grande. Canal TV sólo 3 en inglés y el resto está en Vietnam. Desk un poco de antígenos pero cada vez que le pido al personal de la casa limpia. Decente hotel 3 estrellas. Valor por el dinero. 5 minutos a pie al Mercado Ben Thant. 7 minutos a pie a la calle Malasia.

Booked 2 rooms, parents had some cockroaches. Loud music from across the street, could hear the bass all night. Staff is very nice and helpful. Laundry service was great and booked a tour through the travel agent on 1st floor. All was smooth. Would stay again

Friendliness “5” Cleaning “5” (except pool) Rooms “4” Breakfast “5” Communication with regular staff “1” Amount of technical issues solved “1” Warm water in shower “1” Response from receptionist “3.5”Value for money “5” Hotel qualities : Nice name and nice lobby, good looking entrance, nice rooms and , great breakfast and many facilities. “But boy” they surely have many issues and plenty of space for improvement ! I experienced tons of issues with staff .That mostly came from very low or mostly zero understanding of English. Also technical issues such as i moved rooms twice due to the room phones or Tv did not work. (So stayed in 3 rooms in one week, they did upgrade me though, to room with a window) Noting when I first came to bathroom the floor looked extremely dirty sport all over the floor, I think staff must have forgotten to clean, first I felt discouraged so I took the free toothbrush put soap on it to see if could removed the hundreds of spots, I could not, so I guess someone spilled chemical or something that the tiles could not “resist”? Later I saw other bathroom floors look exactly the same, so I was right, some fault with the tiles they used, cuz two other bathrooms I saw later had other floor tiles with no issues. Also it happen a few times we ask staff to clean room and they forgot it? Sometimes they just come give water or toilet paper and forget water & coffee 🧐 First room I stay in Tv and Netflix worked fine , but room phone dead, next room TVs Netflix out of order as well as room phone dead. A “technician” was sent to room (Zero English) didn’t fix the issues Change room again , the staff then told us that Netflix has not worked for 1-2 years in hotel (despite it did work in first room🤣) Third room also issues with Tv Netflix YouTube “technician” came and had zero as in ZERO English also Zero knowledge how to fix Netflix, did not understand simple word “Log out” he also unable to fix the TV problems. Finally I fixed it my self. More issues: Pool very unkept very green , pool area dirty and spa pool no bobbles? Pool was later cleaned up👏 There were many small ants in room on 10 floor. I asked 3 times for iron and was promised they bring one to my room, it never came so my wife picked it up herself. The two managers I meet Amanda & Ken speaks perfect English and are trying to be very helpful, but their job gets impossible with their poorly or un trained staff. I would recommend you arrange free English classes for general staff if you wanna attract more foreigners. I will publish my final review after checking out😘🧐

Pero todo lo demás estaba bien. Yo estaba muy pesimista dada la mala evaluación que he leído. Pero me sorprendió MUY. El receptor hablaba inglés y ayudó con mi equipaje. La habitación estaba como se imaginó. Hasta había agua caliente. No había agua potable, pero no era un comerciante.

The hotel is located in a good location not far from all major attractions. The staff was responsive. We enjoyed our stay even more after they cleaned the a/c. The 4 minor things i didn't enjoy about my stay are: 1. They gave us only 1 key. I requested an additional key but they refused. I think they should update to key cards in this day and age. 2. A spider made a nest in the bathroom 3. The refrigerator was packed with ice and needed cleaning 4. The furniture was dark and dated.

Usually a stay in the central district of a relatively large city means one has to put up with jammed traffic, busy streets and noise. However, the location of this hotel allowed tourists to travel out of the district easily through highway/wide roads nearby, to visit vast amount of restaurants, bars, spa, cafes, shops, malls and even monuments within 10-15 minute walk, and also to rest and rejuvenate in front of a quiet Saigon river view after a day of activity. My wife and I were able to visit a number of places after breakfast, return to hotel for a brief rest by foot, before heading out for dinner at farther places, and return to hotel for a good night's sleep, which made the trip extra refreshing and comfortable compared to other trips to other South East Asian large cities. The facilities of the hotel and amenities in the room were of high quality, clean and neat. Staff were all cordial, sincere and very responsive. Breakfast at the Strand was delicious, especially the Pho with stew that gave a taste distinct from that of nearby Pho shops, which made it always enjoyable at the start of the day. Will surely stay here again to explore its yet to be opened roof top bar and other facilities, and to enjoy two bites at the cherry!

It was a wonderful stay at Le Merdien Saigon. Check in was a breeze and Ms.Hanni who was on duty was professional and able to address the concern on a minor defect in the room toilet. The issue was rectified while I was outside and issue was fixed prior to returning back to the hotel room. Attentive to the details she verified to ensure everything is in order in the next day. Other concerns were also addressed during check-in and also swift arrangement to address some other issues. A wonderful surprise to a fruit platter as well! We also ordered the in room dining food for dinner and it was good, thanks to the wonderful chef who brought the food up. Overall it was a good stay again in Le Meridien and like to compliment the warm hospitality and excellent customer service to Ms. Hanni and also to the manager on duty . Will be back staying at Le Merdien Saigon in the future. A minor feedback to the Global Marriott bonvoy app ( not Vietnam specific) if the room booking could have a list of default options for customer to be notified if the booking is primarily for room only vs room with breakfast vs room with addon (i.e breakfast , etc ) so that customer would be able to know easily during online booking . Current application may be challenging to navigate these options.

El hotel es muy básico. Sin embargo, las habitaciones son muy bonitas, limpias con caja fuerte. A $40 por noche no puedes pedir más. Me dijeron que algunos hoteles en la zona ofrecen desayuno al mismo precio. Personal bueno y amigable pero carece de inglés ( estoy en Vietnam!!). Así que realmente una habitación muy buena sólo lugar con un hermoso baño. Nota: usted tiene que negociar alrededor de 12 pasos para entrar y salir del hotel. Si eso es una preocupación no se queda aquí

Viajé por todo el mundo con un presupuesto limitado, hoteles de 3 estrellas. Este hotel es el único que tiene un portero que me ayuda a llevar mis cosas arriba. Cuando mi guía turístico no pudo recogerme, el personal de este hotel, que estuvo esperando conmigo afuera durante aproximadamente 15 minutos, sabiendo que estaba en pánico, pidió un taxi. El taxi llegó en poco tiempo y me salvó de perder mi vuelo. Pensamiento rápido, práctico, dispuesto a ayudar.

Era un buen hotel que acababa de abrir, por lo que estaba limpio y el vestíbulo era espacioso. La habitación estaba limpia y era bonita, pero mi hermana que se quedó conmigo parecía pensar que el baño y la cama eran pequeños. El servicio de lavandería en este hotel es del tipo en el que especificas el contenido y lo pides, así que sentí que era relativamente caro. Aparte de eso, no tengo ninguna preocupación particular, así que estoy satisfecho.
