Dutton's Cove Guest House

An amazing place with amazing views. One of my favourite places on the coast. Will get self-catering next time as only 1 restaurant nearby. The food is great though.

Beautiful spot and the views from the room are amazing. Nice touch breakfast brought to the room. Restaurant on the same site is a big bonus so you can sit back relax and enjoy the seaside.

Gosh absolutely beautiful - peaceful - just lovely - what an exquisite experience, the view from my bed - and the sounds if I woke up during the night - the sound of the waves - just loved it. Loved the bathroom 100% cotton towels. Breakfast served to your room - just lovely - great wifi reception. What a gem of a place - will definitely go back.

The perfect hideaway from the storm raging outside with a spectacular view on the ocean from both my private (and very comfortable) room as well as the restaurant! Top notch service from friendly staff delivering breakfast to your room, all the way to Correen keeping in touch via WhatsApp re: load shedding, dietary requirements and other useful info! We travelled in September, and, tired from a long journey, were so fortunate to find this Bandb in Herold's Bay-- with lovely ocean views. The restaurant on the premises is very convenient. The manageress ,Correen, is lovely and most helpful. The only sounds we heard were the ocean waves. A very good place for an overnight stay and a vigorous walk up and down to the beach. Recommended.

We were booked for 2 nights, but it could have been more. Fantastic views, basic but adequate rooms. Correen was on it and we were kept informed. Nice breakfast served in our room on the deck with the view. The restaurant served excellent food as well. We will be back. Thank you!

Dutton’s Cove – Herold’s Bay (3 July) What an absolute GEM of a place! Dutton Cove is located south of George, nestled on the hillside in Herolds Bay overlooking the ocean.. we loved our stay! Correen is an amazing host – friendly, professional, and very accommodating. The rooms all have sea views, crisp & fresh beach décor, an outdoor patio as well as a small lounge area. The food at Dutton Cove Restaurant was a highlight! Great a**osphere, lovely décor, a kids play area, spectacular views over the ocean and the best food we had eaten all holiday! The beach is 5 minutes drive away and there are also some fantastic ocean cliff walks nearby.. If you are looking for a place to unwind, have fun, reconnect with the family or friends in a breath taking setting - look no further!
