Very friendly staff, helped us get a second room for the night when we needed it. Breakfast could use some improvement, but was ok.

We never made it to the Comfort Inn in Hays. There was a white out on I 70 and our car went off road and was stuck. The Sheriff in Russell sent. Deputy and he took us to Russell, Ks and helped us get a room. The highway was closed at that time. We called Comfort Inn, but I am not aware if the cancelled our reservation. Since this was out of our control, we thought they would.

Checking in was very fast and the young man that checked me in was very kind and very efficient. The motel was very clean and quite comfortable. I will stay again.

There are less expensive places to stay in Hays but we picked this one to take advantage of the breakfast offering. I was in the dining room at 6:15 and they were out of the protein (eggs). There was only pastry rolls and toast. I checked back every 15 minutes up until the time we had to leave and the breakfast bar still was not refreshed. I mentioned it to the clerk but was only given a perfunctory "sorry". We stay in Hays fairly often on our way to Colorado Springs and will definately not use Comfort Inns again.

The staff were very nice. The only thing that didnt work in my room was the refrigerator.

Reserved a double queen, they were “sold out” when we got there. They only had a king. kids had to sleep on a small couch (pullout part was broken). Overall bad experience.

I booked two ground floor rooms, called the property a month in advance to confirm this request and was assured that I was put in two ground floor rooms. Upon arrival I was moved to the third floor and told that they gave the rooms I requested instead to a tour group that arrived because they wanted to stay together. Terrible customer service.
