Ok, where do I begin. When I walked in around 5:30pm on 10/9/23, I was greeted by the front desk staff, the young gentleman was very nice and friendly. I went to my room initially because the app said my electronic key was ready to use. Went to the 12th floor and nope, trek back down to the lobby and had to get a regular key. Frustrating to lug my stuff back downstairs. My room was really nice, size wise and they do clean it as well as possible but as all the reviews say, extremely outdated, needs everything replaced. What was really frustrating was the temperature of the water in the shower. Early in the morning, you turn on the water, you have to get in because you're on a time crunch. You stand there, sticking one arm at a time in the water and you're dying because it's so damn cold. By the time you get through most of your body, it finally warms up just in time to wash your hair. On my last morning there, I had a 7:20am flight so I was in that terrible cold shower earlier than I'd like to think about. Yes, I would run the water ahead of time as much as possible but come on! The hotel has potential, but they need to put some serious money into it. The hallway on the way to the elevators has some type of scented thing plugged in, I had to gag as I passed it everyday and wondered what needed to be covered up, scent wise. I've stayed at the Aria in Las Vegas, amazing smell when you walk in, they aren't trying to cover anything up, it's just a wonderful, stays with you and even provides a memory to reflect back on type of smell. Anyway, I was attending a conference. The room itself was fine, no issues there, however, each time we took a break to use the restroom down the hall by the restaurant, it was an adventure. We all laughed because you never knew which sink would leak out water and which would provide the soap. You also, typically had to use a roll of paper towel that sat on the counter that you had to rip off a piece to dry your hand. It was crazy. I would stay again if I absolutely had to, the convenience of attending my meeting and going up to my room during a lunch break was really nice. Sorry, I hate to give a negative review but maybe someone will listen and sink some money into this potential of a hotel. Nice employees though!

I would like to start by saying that the Moxy is one of my favorite hotels ever! Every single time that I go to another city I stay at one of their properties if they have a location. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with how my lasted reservation was handled. I booked my stay about two months out from an event and I received a confirmation email with all of my information. About three weeks out from the event I received a cancellation email. When I called the number listed on the website it rang and rang without an answer. I finally found another number, the corporate office I believe. I was told this particular location opened bookings without a permit and as a result my reservation was canceled. I expressed that I was a rewards member and my concerns about trying to reserve another reservation in such a short time frame not only caused stress but also extra money. There was a big concert that same weekend, so most of the nice hotels were completely booked. It was made very clear that they are not concerned with customer satisfaction. I was told they’re not price matching rates at their other properties and that it’s solely my responsibility to find another accommodation. I ended up having to pay double the price at another establishment. No one has reached out since and no accommodation was made on their behalf after the permit was obtained. Shame on you Marriott.

This was a small unit of rooms. The room was very clean and adequate for what I needed. First impression was not good because they have contruction going on the front of building. But I never was bothered with any noise. I actually received a call the day before my stay to let me know about the construction. This was nice. Very peaceful stay for me.

UUsuario invitadoRecientemente tuve el placer de estar en un albergue juvenil que realmente se destacó por sus cualidades excepcionales. La ubicación de la zona residencial fue increíblemente conveniente, ofreciendo un tranquilo retrato a una bicicleta de la ciudad no menos de 10 minutos para ser exacto.
El albergue está dirigido por un hermoso pareja cuya hospitalidad no conocía límites, que no sólo estaban dispuestos a ayudar con cualquier problema que surgió, sino que también se iban más allá y más allá ofreciendo bicicletas. Este toque pensado mejoró significativamente mi movilidad alrededor de Houston, permitiendo que llegara a varios destinos rápidamente.
Lo que se ha separado de este albergue fue la atención al detalle y la gama de servicios complimentarios, incluyendo cookies, leche, cereales, café y té. La limpieza y la tecnología inteligente de toda la casa contribuyeron a una estancia sin soldadura, lo que lo hizo la mejor experiencia del albergue que he tenido. UUsuario invitado1. *DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Houston at the Galleria IS THE FIRST HILTON-MANAGED HOTEL I'm STAYING IN WITH SUCH UNHOSPITABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL FRONT OFFICE STAFF.
2. The front office staff, unfortunately, are a new guest’s first contact but they lack professionalism and decorum. First impressions last forever, they say.
3. They don’t wear name tags at the front office (except Pinky Pradhan), so they carry on providing sub-standard services in anonymity.
4. THE RESTAURANT STAFF ARE ALL SO CORDIAL & SO NICE.
5. The food was excellent.
6. The facilities are super (gym and pool) except that the lifts are so slow and were perpetually being fixed for the seven nights I stayed there.
7. Only one electric power outlet (charging point) in the King size room, which was far from the work desk. So, laptop use was not fun. I was on a business trip, not on holiday
8. I was told that a guest has to be Hilton Honors DIAMOND to qualify to have a bottle of water in your room...amazing!
I chose the hotel because of its proximity to JW Marriott, venue of my training, so I could do a few minutes' walk to and fro. I wish I stayed at the Marriott. I may not recommend DoubleTree by Hilton Houston at the Galleria to any one I care about.

EEbenezerWe stayed at Home2Suite during our last trip to Houston but it was the one at Pearland. We arrived at this one late in the night and the staff at the front desk was very friendly. However once we entered the lift, we were welcomed with a strong greasy smell. The hall way had rug that was clean but obviously old.
The major concern was the room which had a hole in the ceiling inside the toilet dripping water all over the floor. The AC also wasn’t working well that even at 19 degrees Celsius, was still warm. Initial complain to the staff was met with no vacant room, that they were fully booked. We managed for the first three days because we were outdoors most of the time. The room was later changed to a more comfortable one.
The other thing was the swimming pool. My kids really wanted to swim during our stay but the staff mentioned that some handle to the pool was broken and that it was closed.
The breakfast was also good but with little varieties to choose from.

LluisemirEstoy encantado con este hotel. Las habitaciones muy cómodas, pequeñas pero con todo lo necesario para descansar y guardar algunas cosas en el mini bar que tiene. El hotel se ve un poco antiguo, pero la verdad no nos hizo falta nada ni pasamos ningún rato malo. No hubo malos olores ni mala atención. El desayuno cumple con lo que ofrece, sencillo pero rico. A nosotros nos tocó pan, fruta, yoghurt, cereal, leche, waffles. No utilizamos la piscina porque había mucho frío. No cobran estacionamiento y eso me parece fabuloso. Está a 5-10 minutos caminando de la NASA space center. Y muy cerca del hotel hay una CVS pharmacy que vende varios insumos que pudieras necesitar (agua, leche, pan, galletas, medicinas, etc). Definitivamente si vuelvo a ir a Houston (área de la NASA) me hospedaría ahí. Los precios son muy económicos.
