Thank you very much for taking care of me!!! Mr Anh at Fronk Desk was very polite and helpful finding my padlock which was lost at hotel lobby, after 10 minutes he got it back and send to my room. Mi habitación era grande, limpia, con instalaciones de primera planta (caja fuerte) y la cama y la cocina más cómoda que había dormido en todos mis viajes. La única queja que tengo es que el con de aire en la habitación no se interrumpe automáticamente cada vez que vuelvo una vez que inserte la llave de la habitación (como en todos los demás hoteles), y tiene que ser interrumpido manualmente. La posición del interruptor es también divertido, en el rincón de la sombra de la lámpara, en lugar de en la entrada de la habitación.

I recently stayed at La Siesta Classic Hang Thung for one night, and honestly, it wasn't enough!
Hotel Property:
1. The hotel's location is great. It's right in the middle of Hanoi's Old Quarter, so you can easily walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
2. What's cool is that the hotel is only two months old and it looks amazing. The rooms are a good size, and the modern design is Instagram-worthy. It's pretty impressive they even squeezed in a pool in the middle of the tight Old Quarter spaces.
Service
1. We got to the hotel really early from Sapa, and our rooms weren't ready, but Mr. VP at the front desk was super nice. He went out of his way to arrange a shower for us. It was a real help to get us cleaned up from the long train ride.
2. I accidentally booked a room for 3 persons when there was only 2 of us. Mr.VP immediately noticed it and upgraded us to a junior suite without us knowing. That was a pleasant surprise and definitely made our day.
The Not-So-Great Stuff:
There were a couple of small issues that could have made the overall experience even better.
1. We asked for more water and ice around 9 pm, but they never brought it. Eventually, we went out and buy water, and reminded the front desk to send some ice to the room. But even after reminding the front desk personally, no ice came all night.
2. Food at breakfast was good, but the service could he better. When we wanted to sit by the window, the server insisted that we sit at another table. She rolled her eyes at me when I told her that we prefer to sit by the window. She then cleared our table quite unwillingly. She just changed the cutlery but did not replace the used placemats. We didn't bother her after that as she seemed annoyed.
But despite these minor hiccups, I'd definitely recommend La Siesta Classic Hang Thung to anyone looking for a great stay in Hanoi. It's a lovely place with pretty and clean rooms and lovely front desk staff.

Amazing stay at this small hotel. Hotel is new and clean. The bed is unbelievably comfortable and hotel provided four fluffy pillows (which is rare because normally it’s just two flat ones). Sometimes we came back to take a break and ended up falling asleep because it was too comfortable. All basic amenities were provided and we also requested for laundry to be done for a fee (50k per kg) and it was done within a day. Location is great with lots of food options!

I was amazed at the hotel. The room was beautiful and large, has a minibar, a nice tv and breakfast was served. The breakfast consisted of a normal Vietnamese breakfast including eggs, some sweets and fruits as well as, café, juices and water the hotel was very clean and the bathroom well stocked. The front desk was extraordinary. Very helpful in helping me find places to change money, including drawing me a map. I checked in for an extra night unaware my friends out of town had rented me a private car to drive me 150 kilometers north of Hanoi. I checked out thinking I had lost the money for the extra night. To my surprise they refunded me 3/4 of the price. The are is full of shops and restaurants, also within walking distance to attractions. I want to thank the front desk for their help. I will stay there upon my return south.

UUsuario invitadoEs, probablemente, el hotel en el que mejor servicio he recibido en toda mi vida. Los recepcionistas que nos han atendido han sido todos increíbles: atentos, amables, generosos con su tiempo, considerados, profesionales,... Nuestra estancia ha estado llena de imprevistos debido a la meteorología, y a factores externos, y el staff del hotel nos ha ayudado muchísimo, facilitándonos cada paso que hemos dado! No quiero dejar de mencionar el perfecto estado de las habitaciones, la deliciosa cena que comimos, o el mejor desayuno buffet que hemos probado en Vietnam. La ubicación es otro punto fuerte, en pleno Old Quarter, cerca de los principales atractivos turísticos y también de la zona de fiesta (aunque nosotros no hemos salido, y no hemos tenido ni una sola molestia por ruido, hotel muy silencioso y tranquilo). Se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo! Y nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a todos los miembros del staff, especialmente a los encargados y miembros de la recepción! Maravillosos

It's a fab location with Hoan Kiem lake well within walking distance, yet not right in the middle of the hectic old quarter so it's possible to get a good night's sleep (our room did not have a window, so unsecure if this is true for rooms with window). Las camas se cambiaron todos los días y también las toallas limpias diariamente, pero otras como papel higiénico, champú, lavado de cuerpos, etc. no se habían levantado durante nuestra estancia. Cons: Estamos llegando después del check-in publicitado en el tiempo y nuestra habitación no estaba lista, lo que no era ideal después de 17 horas de vuelos, pero también comprensible que a veces otros huéspedes se lleguen tarde. Michael, the owner, was immediately welcoming and helped us book trips around the best sites in North Vietnam and gave us brilliant recommendations for food spots in the Old Quarter. The hotel could not be located more ideally. The huon kiem lake is a 4 minute walk away and the alley in which the hotel sits is famous for its pho and other delicious foods. Another point is that the airline lost my bag and the staff at the hotel ensured that they took delivery of it when the airline delivered it the next day. We also landed on Hanoi in the morning so arrived at the hotel more than 2 hours before check in time. Michael greeted us with iced jasmine tea and invited us to go to our rooms to rest at no extra charge. As the hotel is 40 metres down an alley off a main street, the hotel is nice and quiet and you are guaranteed a peaceful night's rest. I have to say the bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept in, the AC is great and there's even cable TV in each room!! If you are planning a visit to Hanoi, must stay here. We paid £14-£15 per night (2 of us), and a bunk bed in a hostel would be £5 so it's AMAZING value.

UUsuario invitadoRatings are always based on personal standards and judging criteria. For this, I am coming from the angle of a cheap airport hotel. This is the best airport hotel around Hanoi Noi Bai Airport, and at a decent price. Do not expect intercontinental buffet breakfast, business lounges and the likes. The room is pretty new, clean, functional, and large. Despite being close to the airport, you can barely hear anything from landing aircraft. Breakfast is simple at best, and staff seem to be still in 'training', with only Brian being the 'boss'. Rooftop pool doesn't look well maintained, and the entertainment room has been abandoned totally altogether, with the foosball and billiard table left to collect dust while it has become a storage and parking area. But hey, its an airport hotel. Purpose is to have people sleep for 1 night before leaving prompto. It is situated in a pretty rural area so don't expect any established eateries or convenience stores nearby. Think roadside hawkers and home-run provision shops. In conclusion, best airport hotel near Hanoi Noi Bai Airport.

UUsuario invitadoI really liked the location of this place in how it is near a lot of food, fruit, and vegetable stands. I also liked how it is near a lot of mini stores where I can go pick up things that I need. Owner is very nice and loans me things that I needed. She is very respectful to me calling me sir. Hotel maid was very friendly to be around. I like how there was a portable convection stove for me to cook things with. I like how there were silverware, chopsticks, and dishes that I can use to eat my food with. Very good deal to use the washer where it only costs 20,000 dong for the first time and free for additional uses. I liked how it was near that big Winmart grocery store.
Hotel room was very clean. I liked how it had this small space where I can hang my clothes up to dry which was perfect because it was directly underneath the air conditioning unit of the room upstairs where it gives off the heat which dries it faster. Hotel always has a fresh clean set of towels available whenever I need it. Hotel always has toilet paper available whenever I need it.
The only thing that I didn't like was that now and then, there are spiders, where I had to kill 2 of them. I also had to deal with a big spider on my last day. I am somebody that has a fear of spiders.
I might comeback to this hotel in August, September, or beginning of next year when I comeback towards Hanoi in Vietnam and the situation fits for me.

Sin reservar este hotel, nunca los conozco. La gente aquí está caliente, incluso si usted es turista, usted necesita saber que la puerta principal del hotel está cerrada antes de medianoche.
