Hammamet Garden Resort and Spa

Realmente aprecié este lugar que es limpio y tranquilo. Sin embargo, esperamos 1 hora antes de llegar a nuestra habitación. Y esto es simplemente insoportable con 37 grados de calor.

No es un hotel de 4 estrellas. ¡La peor experiencia de vacaciones de mi vida! Definitivamente no regresaría. En primer lugar, llegué al jardín de Hammamet en un grupo grande, la actitud del personal fue horrible. Me entregaron las llaves después de una larga espera, nadie nos llevó a nuestra habitación y nos quedamos dando vueltas en círculos, finalmente encontraron la habitación. La habitación quedó en un volcado como si alguien acabara de salir, no se limpió nada. Camas todas en un desorden de basura por todo el piso era una propina absoluta para la habitación. En cuanto a la comida, ni siquiera empieces con todos los miembros del grupo, nos quedamos con malestar estomacal y diarrea. La comida siempre se reutilizaba, los chefs de carne y pescado crudos estaban de mal humor y tenían muy mala actitud, como si estuvieran obligados a trabajar allí. Muy limitadas las opciones de la misma comida día tras día, el hotel definitivamente reutiliza la comida de todas las formas posibles. Los desiertos eran muy cálidos. Venir a buscar crepes, la señora fue muy grosera quien estaba sirviendo. casi no había bebidas disponibles, la máquina de bebidas nunca funcionó. Cuando le pregunté a un camarero, lo engañaron y nunca más lo volvieron a ver. Era muy difícil conseguir cubiertos y vasos para beber, les faltaban estos manteles siempre sucios. El jefe de cocina fue muy, muy grosero. Algunos miembros del personal del comedor fueron muy amables e incluso admitieron que lo que estamos comiendo es basura y recomendaron algunos lugares para comer cerca del hotel y mencionaron que lo que comemos es algo que nunca comerán, lo cual lo dice todo. Siempre teníamos que traer comida de fuera porque la comida era desastrosa. Los chicos de excursiones se molestarían si no reservaran ninguna actividad con ellos. Si subes por la carretera, puedes encontrar las mismas actividades por la mitad de precio. El aire acondicionado de las habitaciones nunca funcionó era basura. Agua marrón corriendo por la ducha. Los limpiadores limpiaban las habitaciones a diario, eran encantadores, son los únicos que realmente se molestan. El WiFi apenas funcionaba y siempre tenía problemas para conect****. El hotel tiene su propia playa. Algunos días habrá un minibús que te llevará a la playa, otros días no se verá por ningún lado. Ven a la playa, hay basura sucia por todas partes cuando vas al lado del hotel, solo puedes sentarte en unas pocas tumbonas que estaban muy sucias, no hay colchonetas en las tumbonas, solo puedes sentarte en un lado. Las tumbonas estaban sucias y cubiertas de arena mojada. El personal vino y me sacó porque afirmaron que un lado no es parte del hotel. Tendré que detenerme ahí porque podría continuar con lo terrible que es esto. ¡Dejaré que las imágenes hagan justicia! La experiencia general definitivamente no recomendaría hoteles sucios, decoración muy antigua, huele a aguas residuales todo el tiempo definitivamente no es un hotel de 4 estrellas, este debería ser un hotel de 1 a 2 estrellas con el servicio que el hotel brinda, una experiencia totalmente desastrosa y una pérdida de dinero en vacaciones. que nadie disfrutó! Ahorre dinero y no reserve aquí, busque en otro lado. Hablo por experiencia.

This week my partner and I returned from our holiday in Tunisia. We chose the Hammamet Garden hotel and we are very pleased. Beautiful hotel. Above all, the service is professional and very nice. I highly recommend this hotel for relaxation.

Fabulous hotel. Friendly staff made me feel at home from the moment I arrived when I was welcomed by Sonia. Huge variety of tasty food. Spotlessly clean and comfortable beds. Large pool and pool bar and warm indoor pool. Lulu beach is 5 minutes walk through the side gate. The spa packages are excellent value and the girls are amazing, would highly recommend. There’s a wide range of excursions available to book for various adventures and budgets although I didn’t participate the feedback from other guests was all positive. Such good value for money and the staff are exceptional. If you’re looking for an affordable hotel with friendly vibes and good facilities I would recommend a thousand percent and return without hesitation .

We come to the hotel @2am morning 3 persons 3 separate rooms should be , they wanted give us one room...we just get our rooms @4am , it was first. then the hotel need renovation for sure water is coming rusty all the time , sometimes there is no water at all, the toilet is flowing. the lift is very old and my friend stuck there for one hour nobody didn't hear him when he was shouting for help , on the reception they just smile of that. the food was ok only from Thursday-Saturday , all other days they keep doing food what has been left from other days , there was no animation around just music @9pm 30 min play with children's and thats it...

Booked this looking at the reviews however, I was very disappointed. The night we landed, we got to the hotel around 11pm, we were checked in quickly however, we asked for some food and they gave us a plate of veg and some meat with an egg in the middle which was cold and disgusting. Not genuine food. Secondly, throughout my stay, the A.C was not working and when I asked one of the receptionists. they said it won't work at this time of the year. That was a killer for me as the weather for reaching 28 degrees during the day and it was very humid on a night. No fans provided and it was very hard for my kids to sleep as we are not used to this heat due to living in the U.K. Massive disappointment. The breakfast and food was shocking, nothing for brits really, the cereal had no milk to go with, the chefs are always rushing, omelettes were undercooked, chefs are saying there is no more pancake mix remaining so my kids would remain hungry when in fact, there was plenty of pancake mix, the chef just couldn't be bothered to walk back to the kitchen and get it. It was only when I complained to the manager, the mix suddenly turned up. It's not acceptable as I had paid a good amount of money for my weeks stay. The waitering staff were brilliant and one elderly man in particular, made a great family bond with us. The owner or the big manager was a miserable person who never smiled and spoke to his staff like they were slaves didn't go down well with me either. Hammamet overall isn't too good as there's not much to do and not enough for amenities and the choices of food places are nothing like what we have in the U.K. They didn't even have a McDonald's or a KFC so food was a big struggle. We had to travel to Tunis and Sousse and spend the days there so that the kids can eat food that they like. I would not recommed the town or this Resort at all. Please avoid and don't be fooled by the cheap prices.

I've never really been inclined to write a review, but in defence of all the negative reviews, I feel it really necessary to leave a positive review. The staff here work SO HARD to please the customers in the hotel, and they really made our holiday. King Said (haha!) , Muhammed, Elmi, Atef & Angela on the Animation, Also Aminho, Faued & Jedidi really made our holiday special and were sure to include everyone in each activity, without pestering you. The elderly were treated with the utmost respect, helped up and down the stairs, helped with getting their food etc as well as the children who were looked after *incredibly well* by the staff. The food is absolutely fine- something for everyone at breakfast, lunch and dinner- as well as snacks during the day too, usually pancakes and doughnuts. The hotel itself is impeccably clean and in our opinion not outdated at all- you are in Africa not Europe- please don't forget this! We have stayed in other hotels in tunisia much worse than this one! Our room was absolutely massive- separate room for the kids, granted the aircon was a bit iffy, but again you're in Tunisia not Benidorm! There may not be ice creams or crisps (lol) but there is a shop directly across from the hotel - as well as a hotel shop too. We visited during Eid and although the staff should have been celebrating with their families they were serving us - with a smile! I will add that we went at the end of June for 10 nights (with no problem at all!) and it was relatively quiet- the last 3 days (July) did get very busy- but the hotel was clean the entire time as well as the pool - however unruly guests make it hard for staff to keep up! The "sellers" selling trips didn't bother us once after we said no, as well as the spa people. Everyone was incredibly friendly. The animation team were amazing with all of the children and constantly keeping everyone busy. Overall a holiday is what you make it, if you spend all of your time trying to connect to WiFi or complaining- you're not really going to enjoy your holiday are you? The only criticism I do have is the drink situation during busy periods- the first week was absolutely fine but as it got busier the soft drinks machines couldn't keep up. Again due to busy periods. Will visit again, thankyou hammamet garden.
