We LOVED this hotel and were so pleasantly surprised by how wonderful everything was! Only downtown hotel with free parking we could find, which you use your room key to access. Room was SPOTLESS and honestly felt brand new! Bathroom was spacious and clean, and even the provided hair products worked really well for me. Staff were super kind and efficient. Bed was comfy, breakfast the next morning was included and very good, with a decent amount of hot breakfast as well as pastries/cereals etc. We plan to have more trips to Pitt in the future and will definitely be staying here again, no questions! Felt so much nicer than a budget hotel… just wow!

Incredibly kind and effective staff on the check-in desk! I arrived late and was very tired, but they were so nice while being efficient at the same time. Got a complementary upgrade and they always made sure to greet you when walking by. It's the small things that make IHG great. Breakfast was express standard, but no complaints. The room was a presidential suite, and it was spotless and in great condition. Convenient location from the airport, but definitely need a car.

The hotel is located in downtown Pittsburgh, and easy to find. A parking garage is right across the hotel, which is pretty convenient. The reception staff are helpful and can issue a full-day unlimited pass for $29 by scanning your parking ticket. When you exit the garage, just scan the QR code on ur phone. Another noticeable detail is that you need to ring the doorbell to enter the hotel for the first time. I think this adds extra security, since only authorized guests and staff are allowed inside. Besides, the room is spacious and clean. It would be even better if there were complimentary hot coffee at the drink bar in morning. Overall, we're satisfied with our stay there and rate it 9.5 out of 10. P.s. the photo is its public rest area, very beautiful.

Trajeron a mi esposa aquí para celebrar su cumpleaños y cuando llegamos a la habitación notamos que la silla estaba tan marcada, podríamos haber conseguido una más limpia por buena voluntad. No me di cuenta de que los jabón y la rodilla se habían desmontado hasta que nos fuimos a la ducha más tarde esa noche. No soy el tipo de quejarme, pero por el precio quería que todo fuera perfecto para mi esposa para su cumpleaños y la limpieza no estaba allí.

The best was so comfy I did not want to leave. Centrally located between the football and baseball stadium. Lots of food choices nearby and the continental breakfast was great.

Tryp was awesome. Great historical location and renovation. Location was fun, safe. Staff was excellent. Will strongly recommend. Only one issue - apparently a new rule was implemented regarding checking in early afternoon. After a 6 hour drive I arrived at 1:15pm and asked to check in. I travel for a living so I was a bit disappointed to hear it would cost an additional $50 to get my room an 1 1/2 ”early”. I asked if it was ready and was told yes. So after a 6 hour drive my choice was to sit in the lobby for an hour and a half+ or pay the $50. I said I understood if I was trying to check in at like 9:00 am. When checking out Tryp made the experience right. Overall, as a frequent visitor to pittsburgh I look forward to returning and highly recommend.

La ventana del antiguo hotel no se puede abrir. Ya está tomando una ducha. ¿El gel de ducha y el champú están bloqueados? Entonces, ¿dejar que el personal venga a abrir y tomar un baño? Dificultades y tacañería inimaginables. No pedí prestado un paraguas cuando llovió, y la actitud del personal fue normal.
