En general, mi reciente estancia en este hotel fue una experiencia positiva. El hotel está situado en una zona tranquila y tranquila, con fácil acceso a restaurantes a pie para comer. El hotel dispone de una habitación muy confortable y bien mantenida, con todas las comodidades necesarias para una estancia confortable. El desayuno ofrecido por el hotel fue básico pero satisfactorio, con una selección decente de opciones para elegir. El barco y el precio de este hotel fueron los principales motivos por los que escogí este hotel. En general, recomendaría este hotel para su ubicación cómoda, personal amigable y alojamiento cómodo.

The free breakfast is not a full buffet but a choice of egg and then usually fried potato and beefburger patty or slices of sausage. the rest was tiny yoghurt and bread for toast, or make your own waffles. there is tea coffee and hot chocolate. There was cereal and porridge but sometimes it is made so thin that its not worth eating. There is no tea in the room, just coffee. The machine had a disposable tray but they ran out so I used the same one for 9 days for tea and coffee (i got teabags from the breakfast room). Housekeeping never supplied what you asked for first time, or even second. If you want something and ask at 2pm, you will get it if you chase a couple of times afterwards by 9-10pm. There was also alot of messing about with respect to check out time. I am a member of the loyalty programme which is meant to give you an automatic late checkout. The manager gave it to me but then when I went back to ask about extending it further for a fee, it was clear the other guy behind the counter was on a power trip and the day before started saying I shouldnt have got it and as it was the manager, he wouldnt withdraw it but he could and I should only get an hour and be charged $25/hr after that etc. He was just a mean spiteful man who saw an opportunity to cause worry and distress and he did it. I had luggage to store and it was a late flight so I had to know whether to pack to store it to check out at midday, or 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 (they were messing me about with all times) but this is why I gave a 1 star for service. It is not at all professional but childish and spiteful. I had arranged the extended checkout days before and the day before they were messing me about when I had to pack and had a schedule of things to do? The worst service in any hotel I have ever been in. Hilton is no longer a 5 star experience it seems. 1 star for service.

Pudieron guardar mi equipaje antes y después del check-in. Reservé una habitación con vistas a la ciudad, y la vista desde el vestíbulo del ascensor era preciosa. Me alojé varias noches y limpiaban la habitación a fondo todos los días. Sin duda, volvería a alojarme en esta habitación si vuelvo a Chicago.

Be careful, there is a hidden charge ”A $25 daily urban experience fee will be charged to each room” at this hotel Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park. The breakfast charge is very tricky if you have prepaid. 1st you have to argue that you have prepaid for the breakfast for each person in the room. 2nd you need to ask and confirm with the front desk how much the credit is for the breakfast you have paid (my case $38 for each person daily, covers taxes and tips). It is not buffet breakfast, you need to pay extra when you check out if you have ordered more than your credit for the breakfast. When I asked that if I missed one breakfast, can I use the extra credit for the next day. The answers were different from different staff members. A very expensive hotel focusing on big conferences, there are no microwave oven, empty refrigerator (you can request) in the room and swimming pool. Do not lift up the drinks and snacks in the box on the table (there are sensors underneath) unless you don't mind to be charged. The existing refrigerator is full of drinks. I was afraid to touch it, even the concierge didn't know how to open the refrigerator lock. But the coffee and tea are free. There is a person (not housekeeper) comes to the room to check and refill all the drinks and snacks including the free ones. We booked our room many weeks earlier, after we checked in I realized that the room prices dropped comparing our original prices, maybe not enough conference people attending. Este hotel ofrece una excelente relación calidad-precio en el centro de la ciudad. Su ubicación es inmejorable, muy cerca del Wynn Palace (a 1 km) y justo al lado de la estación de metro Grang (línea roja). Es ideal para visitar museos y el Millennium Park, y hay una parada de autobús justo enfrente. Las habitaciones y los baños son bastante amplios y están bien equipados, con microondas y nevera. El personal de recepción es muy amable y, en general, el hotel está limpio.

Siempre reservo aquí, aunque sea más caro, porque tienen el mejor equipo de personas que me han ayudado a viajar con facilidad de forma regular. Estuve en silla de ruedas un tiempo y este fue el único hotel cuyo personal se desvivió por atenderme y me trató como a un miembro más de la familia. Andrea, Dina y Joe son las mejores personas que he conocido en cualquier hotel. Mi primera estancia en este lugar fue porque tenían habitaciones más grandes, pero volví una y otra vez por lo bien que me trataron durante mi primera visita. No me trataron como una molestia y no me dejaron sola para que me las arreglara sola; incluso antes de entrar, Dina estaba allí para ayudarme con mi enorme equipaje, ya que paso el 50% del tiempo en Sudamérica. Era tan amable que terminé llamándola mi mamá de Chicago. Andrea y Joe en la recepción fueron increíblemente amables (algo poco común en un hotel de convenciones de aeropuerto en una gran ciudad). Me ayudaron a imprimir los documentos de viaje y de Covid que necesitaba y me los trajeron a la habitación porque los había olvidado y no habría podido volar sin ellos. Dina me acompañó a mi habitación e incluso me ayudó a deshacer la maleta con lo necesario para pasar la noche y se aseguró de que pudiera meterme en la cama sin problemas. Me recogió a la mañana siguiente sin que yo les llamara con antelación; me preguntó la hora de mi vuelo y me dijo que se encargaría de todo y que estaría allí para recogerme puntualmente. Se aseguró de que tuviera mi bolsa de desayuno y me subió al autobús de enlace, todo a la hora exacta, sin hacerme sentir nunca como una molestia, a pesar de que sabía lo mucho que se habían desvivido por mí. Cada estancia ha sido igual de buena o incluso mejor, ya que han notado mi progreso con la salud y la forma en que camino. No tengo palabras para expresar lo mucho que aprecio a este equipo. En esta ocasión, un amigo me acompañó y le encantó cómo me recordaron y me recibieron como si fuera un familiar al que no has visto en mucho tiempo. Quedó impresionado, al igual que mi madre, que también quedó impresionada las dos veces que se alojó allí. En esta ocasión, estaban en obras en el restaurante, lo cual es muy bueno, ya que suelo pedir servicio de habitaciones con frecuencia. Tienen hora feliz, aunque yo no bebo mucho, pero en general el ambiente es cálido y acogedor gracias al personal, lo que hace que sea un hotel al que uno quiera volver, incluso si no tienen las tarifas más económicas para estancias cerca del aeropuerto. Tienen un gran equipo y la gerencia debería saberlo. Normalmente no escribo reseñas ni me tomo la molestia de escribir una nota a una empresa sobre el personal, pero lo he hecho para este equipo en este lugar: ¡son geniales y merecen reconocimiento!

Al llegar, nos informaron que el ascensor estaba averiado. Tuvimos que subir nuestro equipaje pesado hasta la primera planta, cuando el personal del hotel debería habernos ayudado. El servicio de transporte fue bueno y el conductor, excelente y amable, nos indicó la terminal correcta para dejarnos. El desayuno, aunque sencillo, nos quitó el hambre. 👍

I was in Schaumburg for a 2 Day conference and chose to stay at a more cost effective location since I was traveling alone and really just needed a decent place to stay. Upon arrival, I was greeted and given my key cards. I drove towards the side door as it was closer to the elevator. Not the hotels fault I guess, but people were smoking in areas I know weren’t designated for smoking. The 2nd floor ***** of ***. I am grateful it wasn’t coming from my room, however: the assigned room did not smell clean at all. I did bring cleaning sprays from home just in case, the room wasn’t clean. I had to wipe the counters , desk and sink top off. They were dirty and sticky to the touch. I was going to ask for staff to come up and check the room but decided not to do that. The next morning I went to the front desk to ask that Housekeeping not clean until I left. Front desk staff was on the cellular device and I had to get his attention. He was nice and courteous but told me that rooms were cleaned once per week. Guess that’s why my assigned room smells the way. While I am an avid dog lover, the dogs coming out the exit when I tried to enter were huge. This gentleman had two and could hardly control them. Nevertheless, you get what you pay for so I can’t be too upset. I just don’t recall this chain being so lax about the amenities, staff professionalism-and cleanliness.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, with enough space to hang clothes. There were multiple hangers, and the locker-style closets matched the hotel’s sporty decor. The floor and bathroom were clean overall, though I did spot a spider in the corner of the shower—but nothing alarming. The downstairs common area includes an open kitchen with a communal fridge and even a crockpot, which was a nice surprise. There were also several games available, like ping pong and air hockey, which makes this place family- and couple-friendly. Guests are allowed to enjoy drinks provided in the kitchen. If you’re sensitive to noise, particularly trains, I recommend requesting a room farther down the hall on the first floor. Our room was in a quiet spot—I barely noticed the train, and when I did, it was more like soft white noise. Still, bringing earplugs might help if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, I recommend this hotel. It’s in a nice area, the decor is visually appealing, and the stay was enjoyable. Just be aware of a $120 refundable deposit (if no damage is done to the room) and an additional $50 guest fee. Knowing that ahead of time helps avoid surprises. I’m very grateful for the pleasant stay and would return again.
