We reached early at 2am on 16th may 2026, room was really spacious and we were looked after very well. Specially Mr Sanjaya Karunathilake the hotel manager was absolutely very cooperative and went out of his way to help us stay comfortable. All the other staff were so helpful and very kind. I would definitely come again to stay in this property, coz location is the most important for us. Thanks to all once again.

For me, there are several factors when it comes to reviewing a hotel. In this case, the property mainly operates as a pub and restaurant, with the hotel as more of an add-on feature. Location: 5 stars, no doubt. It’s right in the CBD, making it super convenient to walk around and access nearby places. Room: Spacious, clean, well-equipped, and facing the pool—so at least there’s a nice view. However, there are a few downsides. The rooms are not soundproof at all. Since there are live performances at the open-space pub right below from about 6–10pm, expect some noise. Even after the music ends, you can still hear people chatting downstairs. And just fyi there is no toothpaste, and indoor flip flop. Wi-Fi: This was the biggest issue. Even though I stayed in the room closest to the router (as staff mentioned) and the hotel has two networks—one for pub guests and one for hotel guests—the signal basically disappeared once I stepped into my room. My phone couldn’t connect at all unless I went outside, and while my iPad could connect, the connection kept dropping every 15–20 minutes. I had to manually reconnect each time. I’m not an IT expert, but it seems like they might be using a small-scale or shared network that struggles when too many users are online. Aside from that, everything else was fine. The staff were supportive, and both check-in and check-out were smooth—especially check-out, which was quick and hassle-free.

El hotel estaba en una renovación masiva. No podía obtener una buena habitación Waterview debido a eso. El personal del escritorio frontal es muy cómodo y útil tratando de ofrecer otras habitaciones y opciones. La piscina es la mejor y nos gusta especialmente en el clima quente.La ubicación está en el Esplanade, directamente al mar, con una buena vista y un gran parque.

Just what we needed was great for a 1-night stay inbetween flights. The pool area is AMAZING! Great food and drinks, would definitely stay again!

Lo que más nos gusta: muy limpio hotel, cómodo parque en el lugar del hotel justo en frente de nuestra unidad a un coste adicional, gran piscina y alguna opción de restaurante y cafetería en el sitio. La habitación que reservamos era realmente espaciosa. Teníamos una estadía muy agradable.

Il Piatto our favourite restaurant at Casino food great wine selection ok abit expensive overall compared to other Fine Dining restaurants in Darwin. Reception staff need abit more life and friendlyness more personality.

Poor communication with the shuttle service. They failed to communicate the shuttle service would be an unmarked car and did not provide the driver with my phone number. This resulted in a long wait at the airport around midnight, plus several phone calls. The room we were given had hair in the bed and stained sheets. Thankfully, we were promptly given a new room, however, the person who gave me the new room key - passed the key to me and told me the room number and went to immediately leave. I had to ask him to show me the room and help move our bags. (I was travelling with my 8 year old child and by this time it was after 1am). It was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.
