Solo traveler for 3 nights in Grindelwald. Comfortable, modern, clean room with very nice bed and shower. I booked to have a balcony with mountain views and would definitely do that again. Lovely to sit out there in the late evening and watch the sun go down on the mountain. Use the hotel’s shuttle to and from the train station if you have heavy baggage (just call them before you’re arriving). Fantastic staff. Amazing location. No complaints.

A rescheduled holiday from last year meant two weeks for us winter hiking. We know the region well and were delighted to return to the Schoenegg. Very happy time and great for relaxation. Lovely team and good food. Our room was comfortable and despite the time of year balcony used! We wish the new management team, the fifth generation of the family owners, every success.

We loved our stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel well looked after by all of the friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Rooms are comfortable and those at the front of the hotel have the most beautiful view. Our 1st floor rooms had large private terraces which allowed us to enjoy that view every evening. The restaurant was the most surprising part of the stay. We opted for half board. The 5 course evening meal was of an incredibly high standard. It was a treat eating there each night. And the staff really made us feel at home. They were so friendly. We were even offered 2nd helpings on most nights. And this was quality food. I’ve never experienced that before in a hotel. The indoor pool was large and very quiet. We only used it a couple of times and had it to ourselves on both occasions. Couldn’t have been happier about that! The homemade crisps on offer each day at the bar were a lovely (and delicious) touch. We were even given a large bag each to take on our journey home. I’d love to go back to this hotel. I was really disappointed to leave! Thanks to all staff who made our stay very memorable.

This hotel has a great, family run feel to it, although it is actually quite large with very good facilities. The staff are friendly and genuine. We loved our mountain view room, drinks on the sun drenched terrace, buffet breakfast in the dining room and daily swims in the heated pool. Really couldn’t fault it!

Wonderful hotel in Grindelwald! Steps from all the shops and restaurants, as well as the Grindlewald First Gondola lift station. Less than a 10 minute walk to the train station. Staff was outstanding! Room and facilites are spotless. We had a mountain view room with a balcony, which I highly recommend. Family used pool, hot tub and spa services, to which they loved!

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely views. We really enjoyed spending evenings on the balcony watching the beauty of the mountains and colorful skies. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Of course, it's very quiet in the mountains. The service was good and buffet breakfast hit the spot although I do believe they could expand their selection a bit. The front desk helped us purchase the all inclusive transport pass for three days which I highly recommend. There was only one rude person who worked the front desk but everyone else was nice and respectful. I definitely would stay here again.

I stayed at ParkHotel Schoenegg with my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary. The staff was beyond wonderful. We ate at the restaurant almost every meal because the food and the people were so fantastic. It's rare to stay at a hotel so far away and feel like you're right at home. Nicole, Carlos and Marta were huge highlights. Grateful for your guys. You really helped to make this a trip to remember.

A lovely stay here again, this was a return visit as we found it the best hotel in Grindelwald. All the staff are kind and friendly, the housekeeping is excellent and the food is good. Wonderful views from our balcony. The hotel is set back from the road so it is peaceful on the terrace.

If you want to sleep at night I would not suggest staying here. We realize the Grindelwald we knew is no more. It is permitted to shoot off gunshots and fireworks at 6am to wake up the bride and groom on their wedding day. Not only that but fireworks are allowed to be set off during the day and night…we experienced this at our visit last year and this year , so clearly it is a trend. It is such a shame as the Inn is lovely, the service is excellent, and the food is good. The location is excellent for easy access to all lifts and trains throughout the area. We will never return as who wants to listen to gunshots and fireworks when you are in the beautiful Swiss Alps.
