Quality Strand hotel Gjøvik has one big challenge.
Inside the bathroom its not enough light above the mirrors. This cause big problems when saving and other doings. The positiv experience was the big exercise room and nearby parking with roof.

Comfortable bed and delicious breakfast buffet!
Room fronting the main road missing small minibar/refrigerator compared to other room in same type. Horrible service that no cleaning or even simple make up of room is offered, yet asked for that in the reception early morning for that day.

Pretty good hotel. Strange with a separate toilet and shower. Very few electrical sockets and placed at strange locations. Breakfast decent, but not great. Would probably not stay again.

Standard was way lower than expected. The bathroom was very old and not cleaned well enough - closing in on nasty to be honest. The hand soap was empty. The curtains were dirty. The fridge was removed from the desk.
Only positives to make are that the reception and breakfast staff was polite and helpful, the breakfast was good and the gym was well equipped for being a hotel gym.

The hotel was very clean , friendly staff. The restaurant on roof was convenient and had a nice view over the city and lake. The food was delicious ate there 2 times. Location of hotel has easy access to walk around city

If you are a family do not go to this hotel because the family rooms are very bad special the bathroom they are so small. The extra sofa-bed is really poor to sleep on if you are adult. The receptionist we had was not very friendly, it seem that when you book a standard room that is not good enough for her.
The children can't use the swimming-pool before after 8pm because the service alcohol at the swimming- pool so this hotel do not really want family to stay.
