JJ995LMi esposa y yo pasamos recientemente unos días en el Hotel Fuzhou Sanbaobindi para una escapada muy necesaria, y fue, sin duda, la mejor experiencia hotelera que hemos tenido. Ubicado en el corazón del histórico distrito Sanfang Qixiang de Fuzhou, el hotel fue la base perfecta para explorar los tesoros culturales del antiguo Fuzhou, todo a poca distancia a pie, incluyendo acceso al metro.
Desde el momento en que entramos, la experiencia fue excepcional. Nos recibieron cálidamente con té tradicional y aperitivos, y el proceso de registro fue facilísimo: ¡menos de tres minutos! Nuestra habitación daba a un jardín chino bellamente cuidado y combinaba a la perfección el diseño tradicional con el confort moderno. Cada detalle de la habitación estaba impecable, mostrando un claro respeto por la arquitectura histórica.
Sin embargo, lo más destacado de nuestra estancia fue la atención y la hospitalidad del personal, especialmente de nuestro gerente de atención al cliente, Roy Huang. Roy superó todas las expectativas, ofreciéndonos aperitivos por la noche y postres diarios, y dedicándose tiempo a compartir sus conocimientos sobre la rica historia y cultura de Fuzhou. Nuestras conversaciones con él fueron un verdadero placer: aprendimos sobre la arquitectura de la ciudad, la historia del hotel e incluso la cultura local del té, que nos presentó con gran dedicación y conocimiento.

UUsuario invitadoLocation of the hotel is excellent. The Doumen metro station is just a stone’s throw away. The reception staff gave a very warm welcome when we checked in. We enjoyed the breakfast selection very much. Food is tasty, not too salty or oily for foreigners. A must try is the 绿茶饼. Super yummy. The staff at the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Location of hotel is good. There are a small shopping mall directly downstairs with some restaurants. (including starbucks and Mcdonalds) Most popular tourists and large shopping malls in the area are accessible via an short taxi trip. between 5-15 mins depending where you go.
Overall hotel is very clean.
Now for all the downside, (for reference I'm here during December with weather around 18 degrees during the day and 12-14 degrees during the night), if you like to control your own room temperature for your own comfort, do NOT book this hotel. The problem here is that they have an climate control in the room, however, it does not actually control any room temperature as I had later found out. Each day the hotel was pumping in heating through the centralised air condition. I complained that it was getting far too ”warm” for me and it was getting uncomfortable as the room felt stuffy and was giving me headaches, As there was no windows that you can open, there was no way to get ”fresh air” feeling into the room. It was also affecting my sleep during the night, this was an VERY unpleasant feeling. I tried to speak to the staff about this problem and their simple reply was basically ”nothing we can do” not even an attempt to offer an solution and that the climate control inside the room does NOT in fact control the temperature for the rooms!
Another issue was I switched on the DND (do not disturb button) as I did not needed any room cleaning during the first night of stay, I came back to find room was cleaned and items was moved around. Now admittedly it's nice to come back to an tidied room, however I did not expect anyone to come in even though I switched the DND switch on. On the third day the same thing happen however this time I was inside the room working. Even though the DND button was switched on, staff was still knocking on doors and coming in to check if I needed room cleaning. After I rejected I was receiving calls to confirm I didn't need room cleaning, now all this is probably an good service for other people but for me it was very irritating as it kept interrupting me during an important work conference call.
The final thing that I found to be quite lacking considering this is ”Hilton” was when I checked out, the staff asked if I needed an receipt/invoice for my stay, in which I requested yes, as I needed to put it to office accounts department for reimbursement purposes. They actually told me they could not print out any invoices for my stay. I needed to go and do that myself on Trip, which was fine, I thought I can do that myself, however because I have used room service etc I cannot get this on ”Trip”'s website. It just felt the whole experience was so poor coming from the ”Hilton” group. 100% the worst stay I have had.

UUsuario invitadoLa relación precio/rendimiento es muy alta. Hay Anping Plaza y Luckin Coffee cerca del hotel. La habitación es bastante grande y limpia. También hay muchas especialidades locales de Fuzhou. Comida deliciosa cerca del hotel y puedes visitarlo. El servicio brindado por Shanshan en la recepción también fue muy atento y entusiasta, y quedé muy satisfecho.
Además, nos gustaría agradecer a los dos chefs que nos recogieron y nos dejaron. El servicio fue realmente bueno.

Mi familia y yo reservamos una habitación doble y una habitación temática para padres e hijos. ¡Nos encantó!
La habitación es espaciosa, la ropa de cama es cómoda, toda la habitación está limpia y el efecto de aislamiento acústico es bueno. La familia está muy satisfecha y los niños se divierten mucho en la habitación.
Vale la pena mencionar que el hotel también cuenta con un centro de entretenimiento de aguas termales. Por la noche, puede llevar a los niños a las aguas termales. JJaceBGWe had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Fuzhou. It truly felt like one of the best hotels we've ever visited. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We experienced an issue with water leaking in our bathtub, but the staff's response was exceptional. As soon as we mentioned the problem, they quickly arranged for us to move to a bigger room in the middle of the night. Their prompt attentiveness and willingness to accommodate us made a significant difference in our experience. We were genuinely impressed with their customer service, which turned a potentially frustrating situation into a positive one. This level of care truly reflects the high standards of the hotel, and we left feeling valued as guests. The amenities were fantastic, and our room was both luxurious and comfortable. Overall, it was a memorable experience that we can't wait to repeat!
