This hotel is situated on the outskirts of the city centre, across the road from the Caserne entertainment venue, as well as the university. It’s a relatively quiet area, with some on-street parking outside but with a secure underground garage (cost 15€ per night) with direct lift access to the reception and upper floors. The hotel has only been open 9 months and you very much get the feeling that it’s fresh and new. The decor is industrial-modern but with some flair. The main reception / lobby area also functions as a lounge-bar at night and breakfast room. There’s a variety of seating options and it was a comfortable place to spend some time, have a drink or something to eat. I was staying at the hotel with colleagues and our rooms seemed identical. The dark decor theme is a bit different - the corridors are particularly poorly-lit - but the rooms are spacious, with a beautifully-comfortable bed, sofa, desk, flatscreen TV, air-con/heating and safe. There’s not a huge amount of space to hang or store clothes, with only a modest, open-wardrobe area as you go into the room and there are no drawers, only a few shelves. If you were a couple, staying there for more than a few days, this might prove inadequate, but for me, for one night, it was fine. One thing to note: there were absolutely no ‘extras’ in the room or bathroom, ie. coffee/tea-making facilities, minibar/fridge, reading material, tissues, toiletries, etc. The bathroom is super: underfloor heating (which is adjustable), a large, halo-lit mirror, hairdryer and fantastic shower, as well as window with natural light. However, there are only two soap dispensers in there, one in the shower and one next to the sink. So don’t forget to bring all your own toiletries! The breakfast was good. It cost 15€ extra but there was a nice selection, with fruit, yogurt, cereals, cheeses, ham, jams, various breads and pastries, as well as boiled and scrambled eggs and sausages, for those who like something hot. There was a machine for coffees and the quality of the cappuccino was unexpectedly good. The staff were all friendly and efficient. We needed taxis to get to an event at the harbour and these were ordered for us with no fuss. The five-ten minute drive into town cost around 15€. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The wifi connection was excellent. All in all, a really pleasant and comfortable stay.

Hotel moderno molto carino e curato. Si trova nelle vicinanze dell' università. La camera è spaziosa e pulita, il bagno molto comodo con una grande doccia. Ho riposato molto bene perché il letto è comodissimo. La colazione non offre un grandissimo assortimento di prodotti ma è comunque dignitosa. Esperienza più che positiva.

Une halte d'une nuit - l'hotel paraît tout neuf ! - une propreté chirurgicale - Pas de restaurant, juste bar + petit dejeuner buffet. Le buffet est correct au standard d'un Ibis Style. - chambre (confort twin) spacieuse. Salle de bain confortable avec douche à l'italienne. Literie confortable également. A prendre en compte : - hotel excentré... 5-10 min du lac en voiture (qui paraît indispensable) mais sans GPS point de salut. Avantage : le quartier est très calme - parking dans la rue. - accueil tout à fait professionnel mais sans chaleur excessive

Sehr modernes, völlig neues Hotel. Ausserhalb, aber mit Bus kostenlose Anbindung.

Utmärkt. Supermodernt men lite mörk inredning En dörr var svår att stänga till badrummet. Bra med gratis bussbiljett till stan.

Sehr modern eingerichtet. Ruhige Lage. Parkmöglichkeiten in der Tiefgarage. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Hôtel un peu excentré par rapport au centre de Friedrichshafen, dans le quartier de Fallenbrunnen. J’ai eu des doutes sur la fiabilité de mon GPS car je suis arrivé dans une zone de travaux proche d’un terrain vague… Il s’agit en fait du quartier d’une ancienne caserne en pleine mutation. De nouveaux bâtiments en construction, de logements ou d’activités (dont celui voisin de l’hôtel), un bâtiment d’une université tout neuf, des résidences universitaires… C’est un peu surprenant de premier abord. Stationnement devant l’hôtel (gratuit de 18h à 9h et les dimanches), parcmètre ensuite ou option du stationnement souterrain sous l’hôtel mais à un tarif prohibitif : inutile si vous trouvez une place dans la rue. Check-in rapide. L'agent de réception en soirée ne fait toutefois guère d'efforts pour se faire comprendre, tant en allemand qu'en anglais, compliqué avec un accent assez prononcé… Remise d’une « Bodensee card » qui donne de petites réductions pour l’accès à certains musées notamment, sur tout le pourtour du lac de Constance. L’hôtel est tout récent. La fréquentation m’a paru encore très limitée. Grand calme dans l’établissement, belle décoration dès la vaste pièce d’accueil qui comprend aussi le bar et la salle du petit-déjeuner. Chambre spacieuse (catégorie « confort »), agréable, propre. Présence d’un coffre-fort (aucun surcoût pour son utilisation). Ecran de TV de grande taille (pas utilisé). RAS pour la salle de bain qui est également spacieuse. Beau buffet pour le petit-déjeuner. Variété de pains un peu limitée, des croissants en viennoiserie, plusieurs choix de charcuteries et fromage, œufs brouillés etc... Peu de fruits frais cependant. Check-out plus agréable et professionnel que le premier contact à l'arrivée. Centre de Friedrichshafen accessible en une petite dizaine de minutes en voiture. Transports en commun (bus) à proximité mais je n'ai pas testé. Un bâtiment conservé de l’ancienne caserne a été transformé en salle de spectacles, bâtiment qui compte également une pizzeria (« I Fratelli », simple et bon dans une sorte de caveau voûté), à 5 minutes à pied de l’hôtel ; cela est pratique pour qui ne souhaite pas aller ou retourner dans le centre. Au final, un très bon séjour pour les 2 nuitées passées dans l'hôtel. Hôtel recommandable sans réserve.

Mitte 2022 neu eröffnetes Hotel. Dementsprechend neue, moderne Zimmer und Bad! Ideal für Geschäftsreisen. Taxifahrt zum Flughafen ~15min. Bitte auf die Zimmerkategorie achten, da es auch Zimmer gibt, die keinen richtigen Schreibtisch haben.
