Wir hatten das prizeotel in Dortmund zum CL Viertelfinale zwischen dem BVB und Atlético Madrid gebucht. Zum Glück noch rechtzeitig, bevor die Preise bei allen Dortmunder Hotels in astronomische Höhen schossen. Das prizeotel Niveau ”gut und günstig” kannten wir schon aus anderen Städten. Die Zimmer sind schlicht aber völlig ausreichend eingerichtet. Es gibt eine Roof Top Bar, in der wir uns auf das Spiel eingestimmt haben. Am Morgen danach gab es dort auch ein akzeptables Frühstück.

Hotel adres listed is different then the actual Hotel reception! The Hotel is situated in the very center, with plenty of parking options. They have 2 buildings, after i figured out where the reception was. I eas able to check in and get room #209 a spacious room, without AC. Two big windows towards a side street from the high street shopping area. The staff was friendly and after asking for AC they offered to put a fan in my room, which was necessary due to the very warm weather. I did enjoy the breakfast with savory and sweet option to choose from. I liked the stay very much that i booked for Hannover too in the weekend.

Sehr geehrte Leserinnen und Leser, als unzufriedener Gast möchte ich gerne meine Erfahrung in diesem Hotel teilen. Zunächst muss ich sagen, dass die zentrale Lage des Hotels positiv ist. Auch die beeindruckende Eingangshalle aus rotem Marmor im orientalischen Stil hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Mein Zimmer im 5. Stock war angenehm groß und bot einen guten Ausblick auf die Stadt. Leider liegt das das Hotel an der Kreuzung zweier Hauptverkehrsstraßen. Dies bedeutet, dass der Verkehr rund um die Uhr sehr stark ist und insbesondere nachts, wenn die Poser-Szene hier ihre PS-starken Autos ausprobiert, I wurde dadurch nachts immer wieder geweckt. Auch die Austattung ist einfach und in die Jahre gekommen. Die Gardine fiel mir sofort beim Aufziehen entgegen, da die Halterung defekt war und sich nicht mehr befestigen ließ. Das extrem hellhörige Zimmer war auch ein großes Problem, da ich jedes Geräusch aus den angrenzenden Zimmern hören konnte. Das Frühstück war eine große Enttäuschung, da minderwertige Waren verwendet wurden, die billigsten auf dem Markt erhältlich sind. Alles in allem war dies das letzte Mal, dass ich in diesem Hotel übernachtet habe. Am zweiten Tag bin ich morgens liebe in eine Bäckerei gegangen. Ich kann leider keine Empfehlung für dieses Hotel aussprechen und rate potentiellen Gästen, sich nach einer besseren Option umzusehen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Ein unzufriedener Gast

El hotel está justo a lo largo de la carretera desde el centro de la ciudad pedestrianizado tan bien situado. Estacionamiento gratuito si usted estaciona en el parque de coches superficiales. El lobby de recepción era muy adorable y la habitación del hotel era grande. Sólo la cuestión era la falta de aire acondicionado. El personal de recepción estaba muy contento de dar a los grandes fans eléctricos a cualquiera que pidió que se acoplara en sus dormitorios.

We loved it. The hotel is a converted fortified house from the 13th century with extensive grounds that made for lovely walking in the Easter sun. Breakfast is plentiful and there’s a good choice of food, and endless supply of coffee. The bedrooms are clean, the beds comfy, and super-quiet. If that was all I knew about this place, it would be enough to recommend it. But it is not all I know. There’s more. What sets hotels apart is attentiveness to detail. And this hotel has that - all the little touches that made our stay so much nicer, they pushed the beds together since they knew we were a married couple, they opened up quiet areas for us to sit and enjoy a coffee. But there’s yet more. Staff are all friendly, competent and always there for you. Particular mention goes to the night staff, Ann-Christin and Erdal, who were somehow always able to find time for a nice chat with us despite having to manage several things at once. Go there. It’s fun.

I must admit I’m shocked at how good this place is. Located by everything you need. Easy to find and huge amount off parking The rooms well standard as most hotel but so clean and so comfortable. The staff really work hard to keep on top off it all. The staff are good here easy to talk to and helpful. So yes I would recommend staying here Close to motorways and has an ikea next door so you can get things for the house Great place and will be back

We spent about 2 weeks here during a family visit. It's a fairly new hotel with a few kinks. Let me start with the positives. Staff are great, no exception. The included breakfast is great, but after 2 weeks with zero variation, it began to wear thin. The espresso maker is available to guests at no extra charge all day, which is plain fabulous. There's a serious issue with the hotel parking. They have a *very* limited number of parking bays, so you never know, when you return, whether there's space for you. There's plenty of other parking in the vicinity, but if you don't know your way around town, it's an issue. Many guests simply leave their cars in the no parking zone adjacent to the hotel. Not sure whether there's a deal with the city ticketing people, but I don't think anyone ever got a ticket in the two weeks that we spent there. You do so at your own risk, obviously, We went through various rooms because the air conditioning didn't work (and it wasn't even summer). I don't want to know what this would look like when it's actually hot. Frightening. It took their staff days to figure out what the problem is (after initially denying that there was a problem to begin with). Not great. WiFi worked great, in the room and the lobby, which has plenty of seating in case you prefer a workspace that's not in your room. There's a small, but decently equipped, gym for hotel guests. The room is what you'd expect of a Residence Inn, spacious, fridge, microwave. The cleaners did a pretty good job maintaining it on a daily basis, there's none of the corner cutting you'd find in other hotels on multi-day stays. Very grateful for that effort. This definitely works as a longer-stay property, just beware of regular soccer events in the city, the guest crowd shifts from business people to soccer fans (with no negative impact, I should add, everyone was at their best behaviours). I would return without hesitation.

Las habitaciones cuentan con una pequeña silla alta y otra silla más grande, junto con un cambio de diseño, para usar como mesa. Una simple vía en lugar de cualquier otra característica de guardarropa - Baño pequeño - Temperatura de la habitación que duró mucho tiempo para funcionar - El desayuno supuestamente disponible entre 0600-1000 diariamente, sin embargo, hubo un retraso de alrededor de 15 minutos porque las cosas no estaban listas. Dado que hay espacio limitado para comer el desayuno , esto no es justo para los que llegan temprano para hacer uso del espacio limitado - un miembro del personal que su superior reprime por el retraso al desayuno. Esto debería haber sido hecho en privado si fuera absolutamente necesario - Personal general miserable y poco bienvenido - Uno de los bienvenidos a la llegada que me fue informado fue un cocktail de gin, sin embargo el sabor de cualquier gin estaba ausente En algunas partes hablantes de inglés de la en el mundo se utiliza la palabra Poxy. UUsuario invitadoHemos reservado un viaje de adrenalina por el BVB y hemos estado acogidos aquí. Todo ha funcionado. La recepción fue amable y recibimos nuestros billetes directamente del hotel. La habitación era muy estrecha en el tercer piso con un sofá de cama extraído, pero para 2 noches era totalmente suficiente. Las camas estaban confortables, el baño estaba limpio y sobre todo el cuarto estaba tranquilo en el primer piso. El desayuno era realmente bueno para un hotel de cadena barato. Había una gran variedad. La estación de metro es casi directamente delante del hotel, así que se llega a la ciudad super. La noche también se llevó el tren cada 15 minutos. El coche se puede dejar cómodo en el estacionamiento del hotel. Así que de todos modos, estaríamos aquí de nuevo.

This was a great little hotel in the centre of Dortmund. Convenient, clean, quiet, and most importantly, with a great cafe. The cafe opened early (6:30 Monday - Saturday, I think 8 on Sundays), which was very convenient for that first tea/coffee of the day. They did a good range of drinks, cakes, sandwiches as well as a full continental for €10. I can highly recommend their muesli, which I believe is made in house. The staff were all very accommodating and spoke good English.

Good location but otherwise tired old hotel, long overdue complete refurbishment. Faded carpets and pictures in the halls. No fridge in standard rooms ”to save the planet,” but apparently, superior room occupants are not so concerned. No safe in rooms. Bathroom with green and gold coloured tiles from the 70's/80's had cracked floor tiles with blackened grout from years of water on the floor. Glasses on request, but they wouldn't deliver to room. Body cream on request was so old that it had liquefied. Rooms are only cleaned on request, and they don't tell you that on the reservation or at check-in. Then chambermaid knocked and opened door without waiting, despite ”DO NOT DISTURB” sign. Very poor breakfast with basic rolls and cheese/ham; allegedly broken toaster miraculously reappeared after two days of complaints but still had to ask for bread. You cannot economically repair an old toaster so it was obvious that the reason why it was withdrawn was to avoid having to put out bread. Scrambled eggs on request but no sausage (is this Germany??), bacon or beans. It's definitely not worth €14. Save money and go to one of the many coffee shops nearby. The so called ”cosy bar” is actually at reception and I never saw anyone there. In 4 nights I only saw 2 other guests at breakfast time, which was not a big surprise. This is a poor excuse for an Accor/ Mercure Hotel. There has to be better value in Dortmund.

UUsuario invitadoBin schon seit Jahren Gast in diesem Hotel, hab mich immer wohl gefühlt. Das hat sich leider geändert. Zimmer sind immer noch okay, aber teilweise schon ziemlich abgewohnt. Frühstück für die Leistung überteuert ! Und der Preis der bei Buchung angezeigt wird ist nicht der Endpreis, kommen noch 10% Beherbergungssteuer dazu! Kann man auch gleich mit angeben ! Parken kostet auch Geld, aber der halbe Parkplatz steht voll mit irgendwelchen Schrottautos ! Wirkt deshalb von außen auch ziemlich ungepflegt. Schade ! Rezeption überfordert mit Einchecken, Bezahlen bei Anreise aber Rechnung erst am nächsten morgen abholen. Zweimal anstellen !! Hat alles schon mal besser funktioniert. Schade !!!
