Globales costa tropical Reception Arrived around 12:30, check in was very easy but rooms not available until til 2pm, luggage left in reception area while had a look around and ate dinner. Reception lady, sorry didn’t get your name but wow, first class reception, defo needs complimenting, so helpful. Upon leaving hotel at end of stay, if you’re early for transport there is coffee and biscuits in the bar area. There is a cigarette vending machine that you get reception to access when you need it. Reception area clean and tidy, place to store luggage actually inside a room. Outside reception clean and moped and yes I witnessed that happening on day of leaving. Again all workers dressed smartly. Room. Room 47a, was a twin room with aircon, newly refurbished with kettle, hair dryer, safe, tv, kettle and cups, spacious balcony over looking back of hotel partly sea view but so quiet in our area which was great, also work on blocks near us but didn’t hear them as great double glazing. Beds were great, think were memory foam but not sure. Good size balcony with 2 chairs and table, and yes you can smoke out there. Room service. Room was spotless when we entered, little to no marks on walls, all fittings dust free and bathroom area fittings sparking clean. Set of towels for 2 people changed 3x during the week and full bed change with made up beds between. Cleaners are doing a fabulous job and work so hard, lovely uniform too, very professional. Pool area Has a swim up bar to a building that also has access on the other side for ordering of drinks, one bartender that seemed to have to do it all himself, collect ice from different building although pool attendant did help out clearing empty plastic cups and wipe tables down, always a queue though, bartender bless him. Sun beds were mostly full all day with a pool entertainer keeping people happy, music played all time and constant life guard on watch at all times. There is also a smaller pool for kids nearer to the newly refurbished blocks. Outside area A nice collection of palm trees and flowers and well kept by the gardeners and pool guys who normally clean the area before half the residents are awake. Two cats, one tabby and one black/white, wander freely around hotel grounds, so cute, but we know your real jobs little secret workers lol Food Okay I’m going to be honest, if your staying for a week, then yes it’s fine, if your a chef like me, and not really fancying what’s on offer, then you mix and split, it’s called using your imagination with the food available to you at the time, it’s common sense. The waiters, it’s a shame you seem to run on your feet sometimes but if it’s down season, they why bother to hire more people, I see the sense in that. Line feeders, perhaps keep an eye out more for disappearing dishes, I did notice a few times a few dishes were needing to be replenished. Again all kitchen and waiter staff dressed impeccably, although perhaps not have one of your staff wear a b
