I did extensive research on hotels, resorts, B&Bs, and boutique hotels in the Lake Como area. We wanted great views, but an intimate environment. We also want ”value” for the funds we allocate for our vacation. From the time we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome in this gorgeous beautifully modern boutique B&B. This is a family-run operation and the people are very kind and welcoming. Everyone working there is multi-lingual, and we had no problems whatsoever communicating. Jonas checked us in, helped us with our bags, and kindly gave us a brief tour. The staff is professional, friendly, and helpful, but respects their guests' privacy. There are six suites and all of them have wonderful views of Lake Como. The pictures are accurate. They are simply spectacular. There is a very nice bed, comfortable with a firm mattress (I am picky about having a firm mattress.) It is nicely furnished with comfortable chairs to soak in the amazing views. The closets are spacious and provide ample room to place your luggage, unpack, and items such as extra pillows. The mini-fridge is stocked with food and beverages for purchase at reasonable rates (especially for mini-bars) and there is room for a few of your own favorite beverages if they do not have your brand of choice. The breakfasts are excellent. They have delicious pastries, fruit, cheese, and various cold cuts. They also will make cooked-to-order fresh eggs, which were done perfectly. Italians love their coffee, and B&B Vista Lago has high-end cappuccino machines for guests who want lattes, espressos regular coffees, etc. With only six apartments/suites. it is a more intimate experience. The B&B sits high on a hill with breathtaking views of the lake. The location is fantastic as it provides easy access to restaurants, the lake, shops, and any activities one may choose to partake in. It is also very secure. They have a security gate that closes each evening until morning, and guests each are provided a remote control for the gate (in case they are returning from a late dinner). The entire common area (as well as the rooms) is kept very clean and fresh. The value here is top-notch. If you are looking for great views, kind and gracious hosts, and a more intimate smaller boutique hotel or B&B feel, Vista Lago is highly recommended. We will certainly be returning.

El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer. Eso significa que necesitamos todo nuestro envío de Los Ángeles organizado para mi vestido de boda y el traje de mi esposo, así como todos nuestros otros artículos de vestir que no seguirían en nuestro equipaje. El día de nuestra salida, no trabajaba, pero Cecelia fue informada y se aseguró de que se ocupara de nuestra vuelta. Barbara y Ermelinda estaban tan atentos y amables en el escritorio delantero. La piscina en este hotel era fantástica y estos tres hacen que el tiempo pasó allí tan bienvenido. Deseo haber pasado toda la vuelta allí. Sara en el equipo de marketing era la estrella de nuestra estadía. Necesitamos un lugar intimido para tomar nuestras fotos y videos de primera vista porque el tiempo no se apagaba esa mañana. Lo hizo suceder. Era amable, razonable y tan creativa. Sin ella, nuestro día de vida no habría sido tan especial. Gracias a la equipo de Hilton Lake Como. (El hotel también fue BEAUTIFUL con un impresionante desayuno buffet. A unos 20 minutos a pie de Como. Será sin duda de regreso!!)
