From the moment we arrived and had a very warm welcome from Nicola at Reception to the day we said farewell, the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Nicola in particular was a joy, always pleasant, helpful and happy to chat. Our room was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable and both the wife and I slept well. Even on Sunday when the hotel was at full occupancy, it was so quiet. Yes, you do have to walk 3 minutes to their sister hotel Derby Manor for breakfast, but the breakfast is well worth it. Besides, I've walked further to some resorts for breakfast. A great place to stay, handy for Bournemouth and Boscombe. There are plenty of restaurants in the area to suit all tastes. I do suggest the Indian, Eye of the Tiger, great food and pmeasant staff. We ate there twice and both meals were excellent.
