Hoteles cerca del The Hat, Chicago

Reservé una habitación sin desayuno. Hay un lugar para desayunar en el primer piso del hotel. Debes pagarlo tú mismo. Hay un CVS no lejos del hotel donde puedes comprar agua y comida. Hay un buen restaurante tailandés a una cuadra detrás del hotel. La ubicación es extremadamente conveniente, a poca distancia de las principales atracciones. Puedes ver Grant Park al otro lado de la calle desde la ventana del hotel y el lago Michigan está a 200 metros. Puedes caminar por el nacimiento hasta el sendero junto al río y realizar un crucero arquitectónico. El Instituto de Arte de Chicago y el Museo Field de Historia Natural están cerca. Aunque la decoración del hotel es un poco antigua, es preciosa y limpia, y el servicio es bueno. Lo reservaré la próxima vez que vaya allí.

Dentro de las opciones que valoramos al ir a Chicago nos planteamos la opción de ir al centro o a las afueras, y dado que nos interesaba hacer otras salidas a Milwaukee y Green Bay optamos por alojarnos a las afueras de Chicago. La parte buena, es que el hotel se encuentra muy cerca del aeropuerto de Chicago O’Hare, ubicado en una zona de bosque impresionante, con su propio lago, lugar tranquilisimo. Las instalaciones del hotel geniales, habitaciones grandes, espaciosas, bien cuidadas, baños perfectos, nuevos y limpios, la verdad es que la limpieza del hotel es perfecta. Por otro lado, nosotros teníamos desayuno incluido y sin tener una carta muy extensa donde elegir, había variedad y tanto la cantidad como la calidad de los platos es increíble. Eso si, necesitareis coche si o si. Hay aproximadamente 40 minutos hasta el centro de Chicago, pero se llevan muy bien, casi todo por autopista.

La habitacion esta linda y con buena vista en mi caso,,, pero, lanentable la falta de servicio en las habitaciones y limpieza en general. Coincido con la opinion de MM SOSA que estuvo unos meses atras. Lamentablemente , yo habia estado en el hotel de New York antes de la pandemia y era muy bueno. Me encontre con esto,,, que parece un hostel de estudiantes sucio. Una pena que un hotel de 400 habitaciones se descuide de esta manera en tremenda ubicacion ,,,,

Very good hotel, a bit pricey but overall good restaurant, rude shuttle driver ruined the impression when aggressively insisting on tip and insulting me in spanish when I turned him down. I think management should pay close attention to this person because he’s the first and last staff member to interact with every guest during their stay at this airport hotel. Especially due to the fact there are so many foreign guests coming from countries with different tipping culture

I needed to stay somewhere overnight near Midway and this hotel fit the requirements. There is free 24 hour Midway airport shuttle service which is what I needed as I had an early flight out. The front desk clerk was very patient and hospitable and knew how to set expectations, which was fantastic for me after 10 hours on a plane, and getting into Midway very late at night. The night shuttle driver was also quite nice. I had a hard time understanding him, partially because he was using a face mask and partially because I was tired and sleep deprived and have bad hearing. I had a great night's sleep. I didn't stay long enough to figure out what, if any, they had for breakfast. I did use the free internet while I was here. There were only a few odd things. 1. When I walked into the room, it had an odd smell. I believe it came from the slightly moist carpet. In about 5 minutes, my nose got used to it and I didn't notice the smell the rest of my stay. 2. The desk had no electrical outlets on it. There was one electrical outlet on the wall (thankfully I had brought my own power *****) near the desk. On the desk was something that looked like outlets of some type, however I did not recognize what it could be used for. That meant that all my electronics were plugged into the 4 outlets, 2 on each of the bedside lamps, plus the power *****. 3. There was a microwave, however, no refrigerator. I didn't need one so it wasn't an issue. There was space in the area of the microwave where one would have the refrigerator. 4. The water for my shower at 3:45 am, never got truly hot. It was warm and probably adequate for babies and the elderly. However it was not hot enough for a sleep deprived individual who likes hot showers. On the other hand, it was warm enough for my shower. I just couldn't warm up, during the shower. 5. The area by the bathroom sink was quite small. It wasn't a real issue since I could place my things on the table in front of the microwave, which was just behind me as I was facing the sink. 6. I couldn't figure out how to change the temperature of the room. The air conditioner was blowing cool air. As long as I was covered at night, I was okay. However, I wanted the room to be warmer, and the lack of a hot shower, made the room even colder to me. Would I stay here again? Probably only as a 1 night stay. I've stayed at other Fairfield Inns that were in much better condition. However, the front desk clerk and the availability of the 24 hour shuttle service to/from the airport, makes it highly likely that I'll stay here again for a 1 night stay. This was a last minute booking so I paid a lot for this one night stay. They got me.

El hotel es más limpio, en un gran parque hotelero, a diez minutos del aeropuerto. La única insuficiencia es la combinación, no hay supermercado, hotel. El agua en la habitación es cuesta, 3 cucharas por cuchara.

El hotel es un buen hotel para el precio. La ubicación es excelente con la estación de metro del Museo Campus en la frente y las estaciones de autobús cercanas. También puedes ir al centro de la ciudad. Hay tiendas Walgreens y una tienda de destino cerca, para poder comprar cualquier cosa que necesite. El radiador tenía un poco de ruido, pero los plugs de orejas pueden resolver el problema fácilmente. Es una opción presupuestaria, y me alegro de que haya sido una visita de negocios.

1. Didn’t asked for accesible room, but that’s what I got. 2. AC/heating system had a weird noise all night, you can’t turn it on because literally you won’t sleep. 3. Shower had someone’s else hairs in the shower wall, gross. - Hotel Manager: if you do not trust the team and their responsibilities, then you will have to do the rounds yourself to ensure your hotel is operating properly in all aspects. - Housekeeping manager: If you do not trust your people, you will have to do the rounds yourself. -If you still do your rounds but you don’t inspect the rooms properly, then you shouldn’t be in that position. Room fridge isn’t working in the rooms (front desk mentioned) so they ask you if you need one to ask front desk but they are charging for it, so who’s fault is it? client or hotel? don’t charge for something you need to repair REGARDLESS. Make no sense for customer service. Also, if you guys are having a group of “young teen/just turn 21” people, why would you put someone on the accesible room by their room? If someone requires an accesible room, in this case I didn’t required one, got assigned one, but imagine an elder person by their room. These “kids” were loud as heck until 4AM, fighting, arguing, drunk, crying, overall it was a nightmare. Normally I have a good experience with Sheratons, but this one is overrated. I chose this hotel because last minute the company I work for had a meeting suggesting to find different hotels that may give us a group rate for the upcoming visits we will have to do in Chicago, but there’s no way I will suggest my coworkers to stay at this hotel with a first time bad experience. Not sure if I would give it a second try. Can’t risk it.

Me alojé en este hotel porque tenía una buena oferta.El hotel tiene alrededor de 100 años y se nota en todo.Parece algo viejo ,la habitación es grande,tiene unas enormes mesitas de noche ,unas enormes lámparas y una enorme cómoda.Tiene incluso sofá bajo la ventana.Armario de tamaño respetable,mini bar,caja fuerte,buena señal wifi,café de cortesía en la zona de desayuno.La ubicación,estratégica,al lado de la Magnificent Mile .Me causó un pésimo efecto que me pidiesen una fianza de 75 dólares por noche.No es un hotel estupendo ni mucho menos pero por lo que me costó me pareció bastante bien.Si vais en metro,la estación no está lejos.

El barrio de Lincoln Park es fantástico. Muy bonito y seguro con bares de blues, tiendas y restaurantes muy cerca del hostel. El centro de Chicago está a 6 kms al sur por lo que es lejos para caminar pero se puede ir en metro o bus sin problema. Las habitaciones son muy básicas y no estaban tan limpias. Los baños no son ensuite (es como un hostel europeo de hace 20 años) Pero cumple su función. El desayuno incluido muy básico. La cocina común y las áreas comunes del hostel muy modernas y limpias. El zoo y el parque lincoln están a 15 minutos caminando. El personal muy amable y eficiente. Sin duda volvería.
