Villas Maribel

Just come back from a weeks holiday at the Cala Blanca booked with Jet2villas. The staff on reception were so helpful, the lovely lady there helped me with all our queries and issues. On arrival they let us check in early, showing us the villa and where to park. I asked for extra pillows and a DVD player- dropped of within a few hours. We had issues with the wifi which turned out to be affecting a few others. All sorted the next day. Housekeeping came in on day three and cleaned and made beds- and clean towels. We also got clean towels on day 6. Pool was beautiful, plenty of sun beds, kitchen equipped for what we needed (maybe could of done with extra oven trays - but I’m sure they would of given us some if I had asked. Staying in May we could park on the roads nearby easily. Went to the local supermarkets and restaurants and everything spot on. Especially liked the cove at Santandria, and the restaurant there Sa Quadra. Beautiful food! Would go back again!

We travelled with Jet2. We were dropped at the Villa only to discover the reception area was a 15 minute walk away. Jo on reception was an absolute star. She was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble to ensure we had the best stay. We were disappointed not to have a welcome pack. I would be more than happy to pay for a welcome pack. Something for Jet2 to think about. Lovely spacious villa with a fabulous pool and outdoor space. Close to a lovely quite cove with a few nice restaurants. A really nice area for families with small children. Would return and recommend.

These villas are by no means luxurious but they had everything we needed and the pool was fantastic (Villa 1). It should be noted that if you have a hire car there is NO dedicated parking and it’s pot luck whether you are able to squeeze into a parking space in the street or not. We were told to park in front of the supermarket but the whole time we were there, there were no spaces available. The people at the Maribel apar**ent reception were extremely helpful when we needed anything.

I recommend Cala Blanca and Villas Maribel - beach is so close and little shop easily accessible - a car is a bonus but if you’re happy to stay local it is not vital - the resort is clean, beautiful and just busy enough for those seeking a nice calm holiday with pleasant a**osphere

Misleading description of the “villa”by Jet 2 this is a development of 20 villas some with different outdoor layouts so some may not have the outdoor terrace/dining area overlooking the pool as was the case with our original villa (8) which was also very tired and dated as was our replacement villa (7) all be it with a better layout, reception is a 10 minute walk away so with confusing directions you could end up getting dropped off at your villa and then find yourself with a 10 minute walk to collect your keys also the villas are very close to each other so if you get noisy neighbours you are stuffed.

Me and my family of 6 went to cala blanca menorca on the 21st June till 1st July 2022, from the beginning of our holiday was a nigh**are, booked meet and Greet at Stanstead Airport but did not happen as no one turned up to meet and Greet us, did not receive no emails to confirm the meet and greet where we already booked and paid through hays travel from jet 2 holidays, but neither one had arranged this, all we was aware it was all set up and done but nothing, they promised it was all sorted, paid for it and did not receive so out family was left stranded and with no car at the airport so we had to rebook everything ourselves and pay AGAIN. we already paid through hays travel but they did not deliver. due to all this mix up we nearly missed our flight due to the unnecessary hassell this caused a very stressed and upset family. After we managed to get on our flight and get to our villa there was more problems, firstly the children we took got in to the pool on broken tiles and then they refused to get back in the pool for the rest of the holiday, secondly the view from my bedroom balcony there was a building site which I was not expecting, thirdly the kitchen cupboards was hanging off, also cob webs under furniture and mess under cushions and also there was mold in the pool around the tiles and i was worried about everyones health, I do have photos to prove all this. me myself sliced my hand on the broken tiles in the pool. i and my family are very upset, we paid alot for this holiday just to have a very 😞 holiday. I find that the service what we was expecting was not what we expected. it was not satisfactory. very let down.

Lovely villa, one of 20 I think with a beautiful pool and sunbeds. Well looked after with a good cleaning service during our stay. It has everything you need for a family holiday and there are plenty of bars and restaurants around Cala Blanc/Santandria. There is occasional noise from people in other villas who don't know how to behave but it didn't spoil our holiday. Keys were collected from Maribel Apar**ents reception which is about a 10 minute walk away. We would certaunly book again.
