For the people that have blond moments like I do this is for you. We arrived at 5.10pm expecting the office to be open until 6pm. Fortunately there was a lady there who said the keys are in the safe,so she got her envelope out but there wasn’t one for us,so she said to check my phone which I did. I put the code in but it didn’t open,so I asked the same lady to open it & we got a key. When we opened the door I said to my husband it wasn’t the room I booked. I found out the next morning that the Heritage Inn is actually a different motel & not a pub to dine in as I thought. The Richmond Motor Inn is a different property next door which has its own key safe.

The Richmond Motor Inn was the perfect stay - it’s proximity to Ballina’s heart and soul is second to none and the rooms were comfortable, clean and the wifi was fast. I will certainly be a repeat customer! The owners were very helpful at directing me to all the great local restaurants!

Great clean Motel in the centre of Ballina, bed was extremely comfortable and rooms were very spacious for my family. Many food options right outside the door. 200m away from the river with lovely family walks to do and great bike paths. Workers are so kind and helped with all my needs. My family loved coming here and would definitely come back.

We made an overnight stay at the Richmond Motor Inn on route from Brisbane to Bonny Hills. We like this motel because it is clean, nicely refurbished and has all the basics including large coffee mugs, cutlery, plates and microwave. It is also opposite the Ballina RSL where you can get a good meal at a reasonable price.

Very comfortable and clean, well supplied to eat take away in room. Good choice of in house entertainment and great location for restaurants, RSL club and shops. Very helpful staff, Would definitely stay here again

We arrived and had to leave the car to check-in at the next doors motel reception. When we arrived at the motel room, it was very well appointed, even had a nice glass table and chairs. the room was well appointed and the beds were fantastic. The room was very clean and the bathroom was of equal cleanliness and well appointed with a BIG shoer cubicle with sliding glass doors. It was big enough to dry myself in. tea and coffee with a toaster as well. I'll be back

The bed was very comfortable and the sheets lovely and crisp. Great night sleep. Easy to get around Ballina and super friendly.Thank you to the friendly cleaner who found my phone charger cheers. Over all very excellent
