You will enjoy this 1750 house, only one and a half blocks away from the cobblestones of lower Main Street. Very cozy for a small family! The house is well equipped with appliances, washer/dryer, central air, large flat screen TV, outdoor shower with two shower heads out back. We just finished renovating! It's got one parking space (though we feel it's not necessary to bring a car). The address is 17 Washington St. The house is set between the Handlebar Café (coffee shop with great cinnamon muffins ) and the Nantucket Artist's Association. All you could hope for with shops, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops and NRTA bus station/stops all a very short and lovely walk (1 minute). Live within a very short walk to Nantucket town and harbor! We have just installed a new kitchen counter with farmhouse sink and new floors this past Fall. Note, the three fireplaces look great with candles in them… But are not operational for fires. Most of the floors are antique wide board pine. Lastly, we urge our guests purchase outside travel insurance that covers trip cancellations due to dangerous travel conditions from bad weather since we are on an island subject to wind and high seas.
