Nantucket Inn ★★★
"The hotel room is quite spacious and the bed is also quite large. Since we were two friends staying there, the space was sufficient."
Nantucket Guest House ★★★
"My experience at this inn was great. My daughter Erica and I stayed here overnight August 18-19. First off, we didn’t drive in but there is a free shuttle bus downtown that takes you right to the corner, a few feet away from the inn. Now for the inn itself. It was lovely. We had one of the rooms upstairs with a private bathroom. As soon as you walk into the room you see that it looks like it belongs on an island. It’s done up in a seaside motif with cool and calming tones of blue and white with seashells and the like. Next, but most important, was the cleanliness. You could feel and see the clean. I didn’t even feel a desire to whip out my Lysol wipes and sanitizer. The hosts were so thoughtful. They had complimentary ice cold orange juice in the refrigerator for us along with different kinds of snacks and good coffee. Also complimentary. In the hall there is a microwave and even more snacks. At the front entrance there are some other snacks and drinks that you can pay for at a small price using the honesty system. And yet still there is a free bowl of fruit there also. I’ve arrived at hotels starving and unable to get food immediately. That was not a problem here. They also provided toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash. The good stuff. They also had a variety of streaming services and regular tv. They thought of everything. I slept so good here. If I go back to Nantucket this is where I’ll be staying. I highly recommend this place. FYI-I think the shuttle bus is not going to be free starting in 2026. But even if you have to pay it’s a convenient option if you don’t want to drive. There are shuttles that I believe take you to just about anywhere you want to go on the island."
The Martin ★★★★
The Nantucket Hotel & Resort ★★★★
"The property is beautiful and perfectly captures the charm and calm of the island. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Sara, Kate, and Wayne were a highlight of our stay as they were incredibly kind, helpful, and thoughtful in their service and communications. We loved our visit to The Nantucket Hotel and look forward to a future stay!"
Life House, Nantucket ★★★★
"This establishment is a quaint home that was converted into a very simple bed-and-breakfast. That is pretty much what you get, a very simple room and a very simple breakfast. On a one to 10 scale of places we have stayed this would score about a four. It has the virtue of being quite clean, and that is where three of the four points come from. The room we stayed in which was called deluxe was anything but that. The bed was actually fine, getting the fourth point, but I have never stayed in a hotel room where there was literally no place to put anything. There are no shelves, there are no closets of any scale, there are no dressers or drawers in which to store clothing, it is a bare bones room in part due to space limitations, and the choice of how it was arranged. The kids who ran the place while we were there were both very pleasant and accommodating, so staff is no issue. As long as you know what you’re getting into, and you believe the high price you’re paying for it is OK, then this is an acceptable compromise on an island where apparently this is more the norm than not. This will be our first and last visit to Nantucket as we have stayed at gorgeous hotels and resorts nearby on Cape Cod in Chatham and other locations around Cape Cod that put Nantucket to shame. The multi million dollar yachts in the harbor are entertaining to look at, and are the best accommodations on the island compared to any we saw on shore. Nantucket itself if one stayed in private accommodations located near a beach I am certain has more charm, but has little else to offer for the visitor compared to other alternatives that are easier to get to."
The Barnacle Inn ★★

Carlisle House Inn
"This place was lovely! Very conveniently located between Napa and Sonoma, which we did both. The gardens and rooms were nicely appointed and the vibe was classy but relaxing and inviting. Breakfast was perfect, my husband and I would definitely recommend and stay here again the next time we are in the area."
Have it all! The perfect Nantucket getaway for stunning ocean views and beaches!
The Wauwinet Nantucket
"The Wauwinet is truly the best of Nantucket all around. With an amazing welcoming team we always feel right at home here. The facility is in an outstanding location where you can enjoy the beach or sound. The food and service at Toppers is just that, Tops!. We've been visting Nantucket for over 20 years and we always stay at the Wauwinet because it really is the best place to uplug, read a good book and chill."

Brass Lantern Inn
"Relaxing and welcoming. Every attention to detail. Lovely room and gracious accommodating staff. Breakfast so fresh and delicious. Far exceeded expectations. A great time of year to visit. Looking forward to a return stay. So happy we chose the Brass Lantern!"
29 India House
"We had to book a last minute overnight stay in Nantucket due to bad weather & canceled ferries back to Hyannis. It can be tough when you’re traveling as a family of 4 to find enough space for everyone to have a bed for the night. But this beautiful home offers a large studio on the top floor with 2 twin size beds on one end and a king bed on the other end of the room. There’s a large bathroom with a walk in shower and a large sink & mini fridge. The beds were very comfortable with luxury linens and blankets. The hosts Forrest & Giuseppe were extremely hospitable and accommodating for our stay. We would love to return for a longer stay since this home is less than a 10 min walk to the ferry & very close to all restaurants and shops!"
Faraway Nantucket
"The room is not as good as the photo for such an expensive price. The curtains are falling off. There is definitely a problem with the management."
Greydon House
The Centerboard Nantucket
"The Centerboard is a perfect place and has a wealth of history and heritage. The room was in perfect condition. The king bed was firm but also comfy and allowed me to sleep comfortably. The Porch was an excellent place to sit and plan our walks to the downtown area. Only 8-10 minutes away Gary & Zita"
Harborview Nantucket
"As a couple traveling alone, the Harborview Nantucket couldn’t have been more perfect. Well-appointed and well located."
