Excelente. Escogimos este hotel por la localización, las vistas y las valoraciones y desde el primer momento todo fue mucho mejor de lo que esperábamos. El personal fue muy amable y atento, siempre haciendo todo lo posible por complacerte. La habitación estaba impecable, con unas vistas increíbles y un servicio de habitaciones maravilloso. El desayuno riquísimo y muy completo. A parte del Buffet había una carta de platos calientes. El personal del desayuno también fue increíble, muy amables y atentos en todo momento. En la azotea hay un restaurante ”Leo Rooftop” con comida deliciosa y excelentes vistas. Sin duda repetiremos si algún día volvemos a Budapest.

Este hotel fue el lugar perfecto para una estadía de una noche cuando tuve que tomar un paseo a la mañana siguiente desde la estación de tren. Era básico pero tenía todo lo que necesitaba. El único inconveniente fue que estaba absolutamente agotado: había viajado por todo el mundo y había estado despierto durante más de 24 horas, pero tenía problemas para dormir porque podía escuchar TODO lo que sucedía en el pasillo y en las habitaciones de mis vecinos. Paredes finas como el papel. Yo estaba en la planta baja. Pero el desayuno era muy abundante. (Foto que muestra lo súper cerca que está de la estación de tren. Definitivamente el hotel más conveniente si tiene que tomar transporte allí)

Mi opinión general es positiva pero hubo alguna cosa que no me gustó y quiero indicarlas. Haciendo el checking había dos chicas que entre ellas hablaban húngaro y se dirigían a nosotros en inglés sin hacernos mucho caso estaban más a su conversación y no fueron nada simpáticas. Hay tres ascensores por lo que aunque es un hotel grande no hay problema para cogerlo, me llamó la atención que hay que posar la tarjeta de la habitación en el ascensor para que suba cosa que está muy bien para que no se meta gente de fuera. Nuestra habitación era estupenda con dos estancias con una cama grande en cada una, aire acondicionado independiente en cada una, baño con ducha grande, secador de pelo, kleenex, gorro de ducha, algodones...genial. Estábamos al final del pasillo por lo que no había ruidos y daba a un patio interior. Lo que no nos gustó fue el.plastico bajo la sábana que hacía que sudaramos y los edredones nórdicos es la primera vez que en lugar de haber uno en cada cama hay dos. Doblados y superpuestos encima de la cama, no llegaban para taparnos si te das la vuelta se quedaba el culo fuera y los pies también. La sala del desayuno era estupenda con sitio de sobra o bien en el patio al aire libre pero no era un desayuno europeo, los bollos eran raros, los zumos de polvos, si te gusta el batido y las salchichas bien pero yo prefiero un croissant o algo así y no había nada solo tostadas. Volvería a hospedarme aquí ya que fuimos caminando a todos lados aunque hay una parada de metro a 50 metros, lástima el puente de las cadenas que al estar cerrado obliga a dar un gran rodeo pero no es culpa de nadie.

En principio, elegimos este hotel para pasar unos días en Budapest, gracias a la buena ubicación que tenía en la zona de Pest. Está situado en una zona tranquila, sin apenas ruido, muy cerca del Mercado Central y de la principal calle comercial (Vaci utca). La ciudad es muy cómoda para caminar ya que no tiene apenas desnivel, pero a escasos 5 min esta la parada de Kalvin ter por si es necesario tomar el metro, autobús o tranvía y acceder a cualquier otro punto de la ciudad. Hotel muy familiar, con habitaciones muy amplias y buena limpieza. Habitaciones muy bien equipadas. Dispone de nevera y hervidor de agua, además de café e infusiones, a disposición. En los baño hay secador de pelo. Buena zona de desayuno con buenos productos y gran variedad, tanto frío como caliente. Personal muy amable que te ayuda en todo lo que necesites. Muy recomendable

I was supposed to stay for three nights at the MP Hostel in Budapest; but left a couple of hours after I checked in. I arrived in the hostel before the check-in time; thus requested to leave my suitcase while awaiting check-in. Receptionist David just told me, ”You can put it in the storage room.” He did not even show me where the storage room is. I had to find the room myself. Mind you, David was not busy at that time. He was just chatting with a friend in the reception area. When I finally checked in the hostel late afternoon and went to my room, I noticed that the room was very cold. I opened the heater knob; and waited for more than an hour. No changes; it was still very cold. I then went to the reception; and informed receptionist David about this. He was in the reception, indeed, just talking to another hostel staff Daniel who is apparently the hostel F&B manager. He casually told me, ”Open the heater valve.” To which I replied, ”I did that more than an hour ago; but it's still very cold. Perhaps you can accompany me to the room; and we can both check the heater.” David answered, ”It's not my job. I'm the receptionist; not the technician... and the technician is not here. Wait for your room to get warm.” I said, ”It's been more than an hour since I opened the heater; but the room never got warm at all. If it's not your job to address the heater problem, then who can help me fix this? Can you at least transfer me to another room with a working heating system?” After David called up someone and checked the available rooms, he finally agreed to move me to another room. While I was at the reception waiting for my new room to be ready, I was talking to a friend on the phone to express my disappointment. When David said that my room was ready, I hung my phone up right away; and was surprised when he said, ”I”M A F*CKING RECEPTIONIST. THE HOSTEL MANAGEMENT PLACED ME HERE BECAUSE I SPEAK ENGLISH. CHECKING THE ROOM OR THE HEATER IS NOT MY JOB.” I replied, ” Where did the 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST' words come from? To be clear, I never addressed you a 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST.' ” I said these sentences at least twice, to reiterate my point. Without knowing the context of the conversation because he (Daniel) was playing a video game on his phone, F&B manager Daniel suddenly charged at me, kept on pointing his right index finger at me, and raised his voice, ”Don't you dare disrespect my friend and call him 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST' OR ELSE...” I then said, ”I didn't even call David a 'F*CKING RECEPTIONIST.' Go ask him.” When David agreed that I did not call him that, I then went inside my new room which was still very cold. Heater in the new room was not working. Again. After all the negative experience at MP Hostel Budapest, I decided to leave right away; and found another private room in a hostel nearby. Zero customer service. Aggressive. Threatening. I hope the hostel will improve on its customer service, and value its guests.

I stayed in deluxe suite room 603 and it was very spacious with a lounge and kitchen area. Upon arrive the two ladies at reception were informative and helped book me onto the bus tour. I was able to get into my room early (approx midday) and was very surprised at how big the room was. There was a complimentary mini bottle of sparkling wine and water. The location was on the Pest side but excellent transport links. I used the hop on/off bus to travel around and stop 4 (synagogue) is a 15 min walk and stop 11 (New York Cafe) is a 10 min walk. Would recommend using this way to travel around as the hotel is walking distance from two stops!

Stayed 5 nights for a conference with 3 other colleagues. Quaint hotel that looks its age. Had very friendly and helpful staff handling check in/out. Had taken a suite, but it was rather small. Main door opened into an anteroom with 2 internal doors - 1 of which led into bedroom (just enough space for a double bed with 2 small side tables). The other door led into a small living room (space for dressing table, couch, TV, and a small round table with a chair). Bathroom is a little dim. Breakfast buffet had standard ham and cheese cuts, scrambled eggs, breads, cereals, fruits - repeated daily. Noticed the staff change the cutlery after each dinner, but the placemats on the table is not changed. Location is excellent with nearby train and bus station leading to all major attractions. Also have supermarkets nearby.

Hotel limpio, habitacion amplia cama cómoda. El personal amable. El desayuno muy completo, habia un poco de todo. Las instalaciones del hotel estaban muy bien. Relación calidad precio bastante buena. A 3 calles de la estación de metro, hay un trolebus que te deja justo en la puerta del hotel y cerca otras líneas por lo que aunque no esté céntrico está bien comunicado. Satisfechos con el hotel, repetiriamos sin duda

Our daughter booked us this hotel as part of a 3 night trip to Budapest as a Christmas gift. After visiting Budapest herself, she thought we’d love it so booked us the trip. I don’t normally write reviews, but I thought the hotel had been served an injustice with lots of the other reviews we’d read. We’d read lots that said it was in an awful and unsafe area. The hotel is on a side street, in a city away from the centre, no different to any side street in a city we’d seen before. We saw one homeless person in a doorway, and sometimes people gathered chatting outside the Spar shop at the top of the road, and the other shops…not much of a problem. We didn’t feel unsafe or find the street to be noisy. You are a little bit out of the centre, but the bus stop and metro are conveniently located just around the corner. We used the bus which was very cheap, or free, as sometimes we were just waved on. Once inside our room we heard very little noise, from within the hotel itself, or from the road outside…only the occasional siren. The towels and sheet’s were good, and the room clean, pillows also nice quality and extras in the wardrobe. Room a comfortable temperature. The beds are low to the ground, and the mattresses firmer than we are used to, but after a 12 hour day sightseeing, and a few cocktails/beers we slept reasonably well. Little ******s with the room, a kettle with tea/coffee making facilities would have been nice for a morning cuppa before heading out. There is a small bar in the reception area where you could get coffee though, and plenty of cafes on the main street. The hairdryer overheated quite quickly and cut out. But only minor issues. The staff were not particularly chatty (us Brits love a chat!) however, helpful and courteous when needed. All in all a good stay and a good base to explore…what do you do from a hotel room? For us to sleep and shower 🤷🏻‍♀️ Budapest is an amazing city, so much to see and do, we absolutely loved exploring, enjoy!

Actualmente aquí en este momento y la tost me decepciona! No como dicen las opiniones. Es un buen 45 minutos a pie al centro de Budapest. El desayuno es muy poco lustro! Luke bebidas calientes, sólo una parte de la tostadora y un buffet muy básico. Las habitaciones no tienen TV, ni secador de pelo! Las instalaciones que dice están aquí no son, el bar de techo cerrado, la tienda de pasta nunca abierto, el par de la puerta adyacente es muy limitada y el personal son rude. Si quieres quedarse en algún lugar con las cosas que te rodean, no te quedas aquí, se siente como si fueras en medio de ningún lugar. Complimento entender que está orientado hacia los estudiantes, pero incluso estos deben estar aburridos de lágrimas con la falta de instalaciones alrededor del hotel, ni siquiera dondequiera para agarrar una picadura para comer en un buen paseo de 10 minutos. ¿Me quedaría aquí otra vez? Absolutamente no En una nota más el personal de recepción son hermosos
