There is a massive variety of dishes to choose from—it’s never repetitive or boring. Every single dish we ordered was delicious. This is easily the best A La Carte breakfast/dining experience we’ve ever had at a resort. The Beaches (Two Sides): The resort is uniquely situated between two different beachfronts: The Front Beach: This is a curved bay with a stone breakwater. Because the water circulation isn't very high, there is some algae and the water isn't perfectly clear. There are some small rocks, but it is still swimmable. The Back Beach: A short walk from the resort. This side is beautiful! The water is crystal clear, there are gentle waves, and very few rocks. It’s the perfect spot to soak and relax in the ocean. Summary: A top-tier choice for travelers seeking a brand-new resort with high-quality food and total seclusion. If you want to escape the world, come here!

We have just spent a wonderful 5 days here and it was a blissfully peaceful and tranquil stay. At first we were a little unsure about how remote and cut off it seemed but within a very short time, we had completely forgotten about the outside world. Shantaa resort had everything you could need for a truly relaxing stay. The villas are super comfortable, spotlessly clean and set in lovely gardens which roll down to the sea. The bathroom is an outdoor room which has its own pretty little tropical garden feature. Everything is tastefully furnished, the beds are very comfortable and everything is kept lovely and clean. The outside terrace has beanbag sofas which are great for lounging on. The pool area is great, nice beds and plenty of towels and bottled water available. The restaurant serves an à la carte breakfast which was really lovely. A lot of thought and effort goes into how the food and drink is made and presented. There is an extensive dinner menu and all the meals we took were of an excellent standard and really very inexpensive. The cafe, which has a lovely setting by the sea, serves lunches and drinks throughout the day and everything we ordered was super fresh and of a very high standard. All in all, a wonderful stay, we felt we had been on a health retreat!

Personal muy atento, trabajador, amable. Instalaciones limpias y muy bien cuidadas en un gran jardín de palmeras. Todo está disponible (comida, bebidas con una gran selección, excelente desayuno), limpieza minuciosa y servicio de los bungalows. Todo funciona y está cómodamente amueblado con una muy buena relación calidad-precio. Hay varios restaurantes a poca distancia. Excelente ubicación con playa privada.

El hotel claramente ha sido renovado, pero las habitaciones parecen de adorno: les han añadido un poco de pintura y grasa, y han sacado una foto preciosa. No tengo ninguna queja del personal: el servicio es excelente y te ayudan y aconsejan. El restaurante del hotel tiene precios astronómicos, más el 17% de impuestos. Si bajas el precio, tendrás todo lo que necesitas. Un batido de mango cuesta 200 baths, aunque un batido de mango a 600 metros cuesta 50 baths. En general, han subido el precio de las bebidas y la comida. La ubicación también: si vas con niños y no te apetece ir en patinete, no tiene sentido. No hay comida ni se puede caminar; solo te relajas en la playa en completa soledad todo el día. Cogimos un patinete para comer; caminar no sería muy lejos, pero hace demasiado calor y da miedo por la noche. Los taxis son caros; no llegas a ninguna parte. No hay nadie ni nada a tu alrededor, pero eso es a la vez positivo y negativo en ciertas circunstancias. La decisión es tuya.

Easy to get to from the port. Upon arrival nice greeting and drink- the kids liked it. Room allocated quickly and the person who met us was great. Beach is excellent- sunset is beautiful. Pier great to jump from. Swimming pool warm with seats to relax in. Room was good, air conditioning worked. Ignoring broken toilet seat and broken soap dispenser- the room was fine and close to the beach, restaurant and shop. The room has WiFi and the tv has Netflix access if you have an account and YouTube. Motorbike hire is easy- check for bold tyres. We had a puncture almost immediately. My fault for not checking carefully enough . Service in the restaurant was disappointing- I had to ask each day for coffee. The staff pulled faces when asked as if it was too much trouble. It was awkward asking 2 days in a row. Both staff were equally difficult. I understand it is low season - not so many customers but they need to pay more attention to diners, play some music and have a simple welcoming look. Breakfast was not so good. If you want eggs or omelettes cooked- good luck! Everything seemed too much trouble. We had dinner there on the first night. The service was terrible but the food was nice and well presented. Booking trips or boats out was easy and well organised. It was strange that this was so good when the service in the restaurant in the same place was so poor. I personally would not stay here again, there are nicer hotels along the coast that have better service and facilities around the same price point, I didn’t take many photos here, it felt soulless. I was happy to leave. The island is excellent. I’m glad we explored it but I would never stay at Sea Far again.

Cada vez que vengo a Koh Kood, me alojo únicamente en los complejos turísticos de Captain Hook. Esta vez traje un adulto conmigo. No pude reservar a tiempo. Sólo queda la habitación Captain Hook, Pool Suite. Normalmente vengo entre semana. Esta vez vine durante el período de Año Nuevo. El clima era muy agradable. El agua del mar estaba clara. El buceo alrededor del resort fue el final. Mucho pescado, listo, mediano, grande, completo. El alojamiento es adecuado para personas que gustan de la tranquilidad, piragüismo, snorkel, no hay playa frente al complejo. Pero para ello es necesario navegar en kayak menos de 50 metros.

Pobyt w I-Lay House Koh Kood był bardzo udany. Obiekt zasługuje na najwyższą ocenę – zarówno pod względem czystości, jak i otoczenia. Pokoje oraz części wspólne były bardzo zadbane, a okolica spokojna i piękna, idealna do wypoczynku. Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje obsługa – bardzo miła, pomocna i zawsze uśmiechnięta. Udogodnienia w kurorcie również spełniły wszystkie oczekiwania i sprawiły, że pobyt był komfortowy i bezproblemowy. Ogromnym plusem było super jedzenie oraz możliwość darmowego korzystania z kajaków, co dodatkowo umiliło nam czas. Domek, w którym mieszkaliśmy, miał piękny widok na morze, dzięki czemu pobyt był jeszcze bardziej wyjątkowy. Zdecydowanie polecam to miejsce rodzinom oraz wszystkim, którzy szukają relaksu w przyjemnej atmosferze. Chętnie wrócę ponownie.

Nos alojamos en Bunyagard una semana en febrero. Hay 8 acogedores bungalows (2 filas de 4), cada uno con un ambiente encantador. Agua, té y café gratis disponibles las 24 horas. Desayuno buffet sencillo pero delicioso. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero lo sabíamos de antemano. ¡El baño es sorprendentemente espacioso! Las paredes son finas, lo cual no fue un gran problema. Solo pasamos una noche con una pareja discutiendo (espero que ya lo hayan solucionado). Las demás noches fueron tranquilas. El jardín trasero es precioso y está muy bien cuidado: ¡un pequeño paraíso verde! Hay un atajo a través de otro resort hasta la playa; simplemente ignore las señales de ”Prohibido el paso” y sea respetuoso recogiendo sus cosas (el personal nos dijo que, siempre que los visitantes mantengan la playa limpia, a los resorts no les importa). Personal súper amable que nos ayudó con el equipaje pesado y a organizar los taxis para el ferry. Para secar la ropa, colgamos un tendedero fuera de la habitación y no fue hasta la salida que nos dimos cuenta de que el personal había ajustado nuestros nudos de aficionado con unos nudos realmente profesionales. ¡GRACIAS, Bunyagard! (¡La próxima vez, tienes que enseñarnos!) Una señora habla inglés con fluidez. Y con el traductor de Google hemos podido comunicarnos con todo el personal. Querer es poder ;) 5/5 🤍 ¡Estamos deseando volver a alojarnos en Bunyagard!

Lovely spot / location.  We found the room very basic but it was as described (imagine a wooden tree house on two floors and that’s what you get). We did find that the room (hut 28) we had was almost the last to be renovated. I say that because every morning from 6am the building team were onsite drilling and and cutting up wood. I’m sure once the rooms are all updated they will be great. The shower however was not great. It wasn’t even good. It was more of a running trickle and would often just cut out.  Location was nice to be but the water especially for sunset and the free kayaks were a nice touch
