Overall the hotel staff & receptionist services was very great. Unfortunately, we had bad experiences with the Majlis Restaurant & Cafe Staff services. They force us as the guest of the Raffles for any order with specific minimum order and payment, even though the time we visit is around 9.30 pm (local time), after the dinner. Please take the act as appropriate for any staff that not provide good service and humble to the Hotel Guest. Appreciated and thanks.

Fue una buena estadía con mi familia. Muy cerca del Haram y hay un centro comercial que conecta con el hotel. Personal amable y servicial. Habitaciones limpias pero el servicio fue lento. Muy recomendable.

Dear Trip.com Customer Support Team, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent stay at Mövenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower Makkah, which was booked through your platform. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the standards expected from a hotel of this category, nor the information confirmed prior to arrival. 1. Early Check-in Confirmation Not Honored Before my arrival, I received a message from the hotel requesting confirmation of my check-in time if it was before 12:00 PM. I confirmed this accordingly. However, upon arrival, I was informed that no room was available and was asked to wait until around 4:00 PM, under the pretext that this is the standard check-in time. This was both disappointing and exhausting, especially after travel, and contradicted the prior communication from the hotel. 2. Bathroom Plumbing Issue On the first day, I encountered a serious issue in the bathroom where water overflowed and accumulated, making it impossible to shower or even use the sink properly. Although the issue was eventually repaired, it significantly affected my comfort during the first day of my stay. 3. Repeated Unfulfilled Requests (Pillow and Blanket) I requested an extra pillow and blanket multiple times (at least four separate requests). Each time, I was assured that they would be delivered shortly, yet they never arrived. This reflects poor service follow-up and lack of coordination. 4. Incorrect Breakfast Restaurant Assignment At check-in, the reception staff encoded my room key with access to a breakfast restaurant that was extremely limited in size, overcrowded, and of noticeably low quality. Often, there were no available tables, forcing guests to wait. Every morning, hotel staff verified my eligibility to enter this restaurant. However, on the last day, a different employee informed me—unexpectedly—that my booking actually entitled me to access a higher-quality, more premium breakfast restaurant, which I immediately visited. This means I was wrongly deprived of the service level included in my booking for the majority of my stay. --- Considering all the above issues—miscommunication, delayed room availability, maintenance problems, poor service responsiveness, and incorrect service allocation—I believe this stay fell far below reasonable expectations. I kindly request that Trip.com review this matter and provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and service failures I experienced, whether in the form of a partial refund, Trip.com credit, or another suitable resolution. ¡La oportunidad de hospedarme en este hotel me ha abierto un mundo de posibilidades! El hotel está conectado con la Gran Mezquita a través de un pasaje subterráneo. Las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas, tranquilas e impecables. El desayuno es bastante variado y completo. Y lo más importante, ¡las vistas desde la habitación son espectaculares! El personal es amable y atento. Lo único es que, durante las horas punta, el proceso de check-in fue un poco lento; esperamos media hora. Por lo demás, todo perfecto. En general, me encantó. ¡Volvería sin dudarlo!

Price: Very cheap for a 4-star hotel. Good value for money. Location: Quite far, located in the an Naseem area, but like the vive there. Shuttle bus : very excellent and very punctual. Room: Overall okay, but the toilet is quite small. Breakfast: Has a good variety, but the menu is almost the same every day. I stayed for 7 nights and ended up eating nearly the same items daily. Staff: Generally okay, but there was a serious incident that affected my stay. One night, a bellman attempted to open my room door 2–3 times. Fortunately, I had engaged the inner lock, so he was unable to enter fully. He was accompanied by other outsiders, which was a clear breach of guest privacy and safety. I immediately made a complaint to the reception. They offered a room upgrade, but the room change process took a very long time. I waited from before Maghrib until after Isya, and eventually had to go to the reception myself to follow up. Wi-Fi: After changing to the new room, the Wi-Fi signal was very weak. I had to sit near the lift area just to get a stable and stronger internet connection, which was very inconvenient.

************* Tuvimos una estancia muy agradable en Le Meridien Towers Makkah. No hay tanta gente y el servicio de transporte al Haram funciona las 24 horas, sin apenas esperar para subir al autobús de ida y vuelta. El hotel nos cambió de categoría con mucho gusto e incluso nos ofrecieron té de cortesía la primera noche. Como llegamos muy tarde, agradecí poder comprar algo rápido para mi hijo pequeño y que las tiendas estuvieran abiertas. No pedimos que el servicio de limpieza viniera a limpiar nuestras habitaciones, pero fueron atentos y rápidos. Ojalá nos volvamos a alojar aquí para nuestra próxima Umrah.

Tuve el placer de hospedarme en el Hotel Violet en La Meca, Arabia Saudita, y quería compartir mi experiencia con quienes estén considerando un viaje a esta ciudad santa. En primer lugar, la ubicación es absolutamente fantástica. El hotel se encuentra a poca distancia del Haram, lo que facilita enormemente la oración y el cumplimiento de los deberes religiosos. La vista desde mi habitación ofrecía un hermoso paisaje de los alrededores, brindando una sensación de serenidad que enriqueció mi experiencia espiritual. El personal del Hotel Violet merece una mención especial. Desde el momento en que llegué, fueron increíblemente amables y atentos. Se desvivieron para que mi estancia fuera cómoda y sin contratiempos. El servicio de conserjería fue particularmente útil, ayudándome con el transporte local y ofreciéndome consejos sobre lugares para visitar. Las habitaciones eran amplias, limpias y estaban bien mantenidas. Agradecí las comodidades modernas como el wifi gratuito, los televisores de pantalla plana y el minibar bien surtido. La cama era muy cómoda, lo que me permitió descansar plácidamente después de largos días de oración y exploración. El personal de limpieza hizo un trabajo excelente, asegurando que la habitación estuviera impecable cada día. Uno de los aspectos más destacados de mi estancia fueron las opciones gastronómicas del hotel. El desayuno buffet ofrecía una amplia variedad de platos, desde cocina local saudí hasta platos internacionales, todos preparados con ingredientes frescos. También cené en el restaurante del hotel un par de veces, y la comida fue absolutamente deliciosa. En cuanto a las instalaciones, el Hotel Violet ofrece varias comodidades que mejoran la experiencia del huésped. Cuenta con un gimnasio bien equipado, que me resultó muy útil para mantener mi rutina de ejercicios. El centro de negocios también me vino de maravilla, ya que necesitaba ponerme al día con el trabajo durante mi estancia. En general, mi experiencia en el Hotel Violet fue excepcional. Tanto si visita La Meca para una peregrinación espiritual como si simplemente desea explorar la ciudad, recomiendo encarecidamente alojarse aquí. La combinación de su excelente ubicación, el servicio impecable, las cómodas habitaciones y las fantásticas opciones gastronómicas lo convierten en una gran elección para cualquier viajero.

Nos gustó mucho alojarnos en el Novotel Taskher Mekkah. Los grandes nombres de Novotel son realmente PRECISOS. Nos gusta la habitación, que es increíble, la ubicación está bien y hay un autobús lanzadera listo para ir a Haram cada hora. En general, fue una buena experiencia. Lamentablemente, no tuvimos la oportunidad de probar la comida.

Excellent hotel with great service and a nice breakfast. Highly recommended! Compared to other hotels, this offers the best value for money. However, the location is on a hill, which may be difficult for elderly guests to access.
