La habitación es muy nueva, con hervidor de agua, secador de pelo, zapatillas y toallas de papel. Es raro en Europa tener artículos desechables. Está a 500 metros de la estación de metro y a cinco minutos a pie.

La ubicación del hotel es fantástica. Se puede ir andando a casi todos los sitios. El metro está justo enfrente. Hay muchos restaurantes cerca y el mercado y la zona comercial de Bolhão están a solo unos minutos a pie. El servicio también es excelente.

I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights, and it was hands down the best decision of my entire trip to Porto. If any of my friends or family visit Porto, I would literally force them to book this place. If you are debating between this and a slightly cheaper, mediocre hotel, do yourself a favor and choose this residence. It offers absolute value for money. 1. Unbeatable Location The location is incredible—literally right next to São Bento Station. If you walk down the slope right across the street, you end up right under the Dom Luís I Bridge. If you walk up the slope to the left, you can reach Jardim do Morro in just about 8 minutes. Having the metro station right outside means you can easily get anywhere, whether it’s Rua de Santa Catarina or the Gaia district. It was so convenient that I could visit a tourist spot, come back to the room for a quick nap, and head out again for evening sightseeing. 2. Excellent Room Condition & Value The condition of the residence is top-notch. Instead of spending money on an awkwardly priced, lower-quality hotel, staying here gives you premium comfort for an amazing price. It is truly the perfect budget-friendly luxury. 3. Fantastic Amenities (Washing Machine & Cooktop) Whether Porto is your first stop or you are coming from Lisbon, you’ll eventually need to do laundry or crave some comfort food. The room comes equipped with a washing machine and an induction cooktop. It was amazing to be able to do my piled-up laundry and cook some ramen after buying groceries at the supermarket. This feature alone makes it a must-stay destination during your journey. [Conclusion] This place is flawless in terms of location, price, and convenience. Don't hesitate—just book it. You won't regret it!

Una auténtica maravilla de hotel. La atención del personal excelente tanto antes de la llegada como durante la estancia. Recomendable!

Last year I had the most wonderful stay at Menina Colina, and was excited to return. Unfortunately I now wish I had reserved elsewhere, as it has been nothing but a disappointment. Prices are so much higher than a year ago, but I thought I got what was a good deal on the garden room. Turns out it is greatly overpriced for what is offered, as it has none of the exquisite design or attention to detail that the interior rooms have. It also seems to be neglected in terms of maintenance. The coffee machine was leaking, and after reporting it, it was made out to be my fault as I was using it incorrectly. I had to physically show a member of staff the leaked water for them to agree to replace it. I was really annoyed that they felt that they needed to demonstrate to me how it works rather than just replacing it immediately. The next disappointment was that the room was initially not serviced at all, and no explanation was given. When you are paying $165 for a mediocre room (not even including breakfast), one would at the very least expect the bins to be emptied. The bathroom also had a terrible smell that permeated the room, and mosquitoes were a problem too. Management did offer me lunch or attendance of their fado show, but none of these arrangements fitted into my busy programme. I thought a small financial compensation would have made more sense. That did not happen, and nothing further was mentioned or discussed on check-out. The final issue was the online check-out which they require. When I tried to complete it, my bill was for my entire stay, although 3 of the 4 nights had already been paid months in advance. So my conclusion is unfortunately that Menina Colina’s standards have dropped significantly, and that it is overpriced for the lack of attention to detail that is evident in several areas.

Esta es sólo una ubicación. Sin embargo, el diseño de la habitación es bueno y el desayuno también es bueno. Este es un hotel muy recomendado en Oporto.

Muy bueno, muy limpio. Hay taquillas debajo de las camas que se pueden cerrar con tu propio candado. El único inconveniente es que mi amigo y yo nos quedamos en este hostal en dos ocasiones (con un día de por medio) y en ambas la recepción nos asignó las camas número 1 y 2. La ubicación de estas camas es terrible para la privacidad: están justo al lado de la puerta, lo que significa que al abrirla, la cama es lo primero que se ve. Incluso pregunté a otros huéspedes de la habitación y a nadie le gustaba esa posición. ¿Quizás nos las asignaron deliberadamente por ser chinos o asiáticos? No quiero pensar que esto sea una forma de discriminación encubierta.

La ubicación y el servicio fueron excelentes, y la habitación también era tranquila. La alfombra del pasillo y la habitación estaba llena de polvo y no olía bien (séptima planta). El menú del desayuno es el mismo todas las mañanas y no hay mucha variedad. El café también es instantáneo, de la cafetera Nespresso. Hay un spa con masajes, que estuvo genial, pero no tuvimos masajes para parejas durante nuestra estancia, a pesar de que lo indicaban en la carta. En general, bien, pero la próxima vez probaría otro sitio.

Se encuentra a tan solo 5 minutos a pie de las estaciones de São Bento y Trinidade, lo que lo convierte en una ubicación ideal tanto para quienes llegan en avión y desean tomar el tren del aeropuerto como para quienes viajan en tren. Es un alojamiento tipo apartamento, no un hotel. Cuenta con una amplia cama doble y un sofá en la sala de estar, además de una cocina y un baño independientes. Dispone de mesa de comedor y la mayoría de los utensilios de cocina (tostadora, vajilla, ollas, cafetera, etc.), ¡perfecto para cocinar! Normalmente, los alojamientos en edificios antiguos como este suelen carecer de ascensor, ¡pero este sí! El agua caliente fluye en abundancia. Dado que el registro de entrada y salida se realiza en línea, no hay recepción. Hay taquillas para equipaje en el vestíbulo, así que fue muy práctico poder dejar mi maleta después de la salida y explorar la ciudad un rato.
