«Had an absolutely amazing stay! The room was spacious with modern décor and very comfortable bed. the room is peaceful. The Wi-Fi was fast enough for my business meetings. Overall, a good experience. The staff was incredibly amazing and welcoming.. Having said that, the cleanliness was top-notch and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Great value for the price.

Ttats618Disfrutamos del pastel de cortesía y de la mejora de habitación gratuita que nos dieron, además de todas las comodidades. El desayuno buffet podría mejorar un poco en cuanto a sabor, pero nos encantaron sus pasteles (¡sobre todo los daneses!). La piscina estaba bien, pero un poco caótica para nuestro gusto, considerando que había muchos niños jugando. El personal fue muy amable y pudimos registrarnos antes de lo esperado (solo 7 minutos después de la hora de llegada). Sobre todo, nos encantó la vista desde nuestra habitación. ¡Volveremos!

HHana7We stayed here about 2 years ago, so we tried again. There was a bathtub, which was very good. We expected breakfast but too many fried foods. My daughter and I ordered omlets but the young staff couldn’t take order properly. I think she needs to study English more. We stayed for 2 nights but breakfast were almost same for 2 mornings.

Got upgraded to a much bigger room with a small living area and it was on one of the high floors, far away from the noise in Edsa and Ortigas. 😊 This hotel is also connected to Galleria mall so it’s very convenient to grab some food. The mall itself is old so there aren’t many options other than food. Overall, I recommend this place 👍🏻

La habitación está muy limpia y ordenada, y el pasillo todavía huele bien. El hotel Westin está justo en la puerta. La ubicación es bastante buena, pero la puerta es propensa a atascos y el conductor tiene que esperar mucho tiempo para llegar. un agarre.

KKaixerRichmonde Hotel Ortigas is a well-aged hotel that has clearly stood the test of time.
I originally booked a Standard Room via Trip.com and decided to pay extra to upgrade to a Junior Suite upon arrival. It was absolutely worth it. One of the experienced staff recommended a room with an excellent view, and the scenery did not disappoint.
The bed is very comfortable, perfect for a good night’s rest. The pillows, however, are on the softer side; I personally stacked three pillows to achieve better neck support. The air-conditioning is very powerful—almost freezing at times. I wasn’t entirely sure how to adjust it, and it seems to be set in Fahrenheit, but it works extremely well for those who enjoy a cold room.
All the room lighting works as intended. The lights are on the warm, dim (orange) side, which seems intentionally designed to match the hotel’s classic and cozy ambience. It gives the room a calm, relaxing feel, especially at night.
One small suggestion would be to provide additional plastic trash bags in the room and bathroom. I use food delivery services quite frequently during my stay and prefer to clear waste daily for cleanliness.
The Junior Suite comes with a larger Smart TV, which was a pleasant surprise. You can easily log in to your own Netflix account—watching shows in bed felt like having a mini private cinema in the room. Extremely comfortable and enjoyable.
The gym is a big plus—open from 6am to 9pm and almost always empty. It honestly felt like I had the entire gym to myself, which made workouts very pleasant. The swimming pool is currently closed for renovation, which is understandable.
While the room is generally clean and comfortable, it could benefit from renovation and deeper cleaning. The wooden doors, curtains, desks, and drawers are showing their age and would greatly improve the overall experience if refreshed. That said, for a hotel that is over 25 years old, it has aged remarkably well.
The location is excellent—one of the best aspects of this hotel. There are plenty of food and convenience options nearby, including 7-Eleven, Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks, Pancake House, and more. SM Megamall is just a short walk away, making shopping, dining, and commuting extremely convenient.
Most importantly, the service from the staff is outstanding. There are warm greetings everywhere you go, and the staff are consistently polite, professional, and helpful. Their hospitality truly enhances the overall stay and makes guests feel welcomed.
I will be trying their breakfast buffet soon and will update my review afterward to share whether it exceeds expectations.
Overall, Richmonde Hotel Ortigas offers great value, comfort, excellent service, and an unbeatable location. I would gladly recommend it to travelers who appreciate classic charm paired with genuine Filipino hospitality.

UUsuario invitadoI have stayed in the Malayan Plaza many times before and the experiences WERE great, but in my recent stay, there are changes already. Maybe because the bldg was new before when I stayed.
Bad smell as you walk along the alley of 10th floor where my room at. Also bad smell is diffusing in the basement parking. Food is no longer great and many this time.
One thing hasn’t changed, the accommodating staff.

Staff are nice, friendly, and attentive.
Bed is comfortable, aircon is cool, and showers have adequate pressure.
Cons:
For a new hotel, the furnishings, panels, and walls already show wear and tear. Some panels and tiles show signs of rushed work. Construction noises are loud and I was not given any prior notice about it.
The room door is annoyingly hard to open.
Elevators lack card detectors on both sides; layout is confusing.
Security people are nice, but they do too much frisking of my things and the entrance/exit layout is also confusing. The lobby is too small.
Amenities are lacking, only a gym is available for leisure activities.
Overall, average stay with lots of room for improvement.
