Minimalistic hotel rooms well located off Silent Beach in Tangalle. Nice communal pool and a small amount of rooms makes the villa quite tranquil and never busy. The staff are wonderful and the chef cooks delicious food which is all very reasonably priced. I just recommend you stay away from beef in this country as it’s quite inedible, this seems a common theme whether you’re buying a cheap burger or an expensive beef dish. The only detractions to the accomodation was a foul odour emanating from the shower in the mornings, but it did dissipate thereafter. Also I find there is little point of an in-room safe if it isn’t bolted to the ground. You can literally walk in and pick the safe up and exit the room making it redundant. Rooms are well appointed and well priced for the area given the two luxury alternatives are the Amanwella resort which is quite dated and much more expensive and the Anantara Peace Haven which is more expensive but also a fantastic product. The local beach here is beautiful. I would stay here again, but I expect rooms will be hard to come by as the country lacks 5 star resorts at this time. I would stay here again no doubt and recommend the property.

Lankavatara offers a peaceful, secluded escape. The beach is beautiful and, for most of our stay, we had it almost entirely to ourselves. Do be aware that the sea is very rough, so it’s generally not suitable for swimming. The rooms have a rustic charm with basic amenities. While comfortable enough, I personally wouldn’t rate the property as a 4-star hotel. The Wi-Fi was also quite weak, which may be worth considering if you need a reliable internet connection. The staff were always willing to help when asked, although the service sometimes felt a little disingenuous and not always delivered with genuine warmth. Food service could also be quite slow at times, so it’s best to allow plenty of time for meals. One of the highlights of our stay was the surrounding area. A special mention goes to Upoint Restaurant, which serves exceptional home-cooked Sri Lankan seafood. The hosts there were incredibly welcoming and made for a memorable dining experience. Overall, we had a lovely stay. If you’re looking for a quiet, unspoilt beach, simple accommodation, and don’t mind a more relaxed pace of service, Lankavatara is a pleasant place to unwind.

Cuando entramos en la puerta, la habitación está bien, pero hay un poco más de insectos. El hotel cuenta con tres restaurantes, estilos, Asia y buffets. Algunos restaurantes turísticos cerca del hotel no sugieren comer. Se le llevará una hora y media para verlo. Cuando salga de la tienda, vea la cuenta y no tiene por qué añadirle algunas tasas de protección para los piratas.

Wat een top verblijf hebben wij gehad! Vanaf begin tot eind was alles perfect geregeld. Om te beginnen het personeel was echt uitmuntend. Ze deden alles voor je wat ze konden waren altijd beleefd en als ze niet met ons bezig waren, waren ze wel bezig met het verblijf schoon te maken. Het eten was echt heerlijk alles was vers gemaakt en smaakte super goed! Ook met onze ochtend safari hebben ze voor een top ontbijt gezorgd De locatie is helemaal top in 30 minuten ben je bij Yala national park, je kan naar het dorpje met een tuktuk maar wij vonden het juist heerlijk om buiten de safari’s bij het hotel te zijn. Ht zwembad was genieten en ontspannen. Het is dat we niet meer sterren kunnen geven want dit verdienen ze echt!e

El hotel en sí no está mal, hay pocos similares en esta zona. Habitación grande, vista excelente, desayuno estándar, el personal se esfuerza. La playa en sí, justo enfrente del hotel, no es muy buena, pero si caminas hacia la izquierda, es más interesante. A la derecha hay un sucio pueblo de pescadores. Hay varios cafés cerca, puedes elegir algo.

Muy cerca del Lago Tither, la habitación es aproximadamente 30 planos, coherente con las fotos, hoteles salvajes, instalaciones de muebles no tienen demasiados expectativas, hay un poco de biología normal dentro, puede aceptarse. Alojarse en el hotel, alguien ayuda a llevar sus maletas a la habitación. La cena es muy buena. La reserva de la habitación contiene una tarifa de comida, mejor que lo que comíamos en el restaurante los días anteriores y el precio es muy alto. El servicio también es bueno para la comida. Porque el día siguiente debe levantarse temprano en el Parque Yala, el hotel también es muy grande para el desayuno envasado.
