To me, it’s luxury because of the hospitality of the staff, quality of the property and the food they provided totally exceed travellers’ expectations, and as a result, we would love to pay more for the experience.
Some staff really tried their very best to help me during my stay while some just didn’t. Upon arrival, I tried to communicate with the staff that I’d like to cancel my third night’s dinner because of the change of my plan. At first, I booked six meals in total and I’d only want to cancel one dinner and they said I needed to pay 100% for the cancelled meal because they have already bought the ingredients. Okay, I tried to understand that because they had already taken away my credit card and there’s nothing I could do about that and I thought it must be a very nice meal and that’s why they insisted that. Disappointingly, the portion was so small and paying the same amount of money I could get so much better food in 虹夕諾雅 or any other five star onsen hotels in Japan. As a result, I went to bed feeling hungry and eating the snacks I bought for myself :( The food portions are like a bento instead of a proper meal. )
Also, the Western style breakfast was so overpriced and the avocado in the omelette was not fresh at all.
One more thing to note is that the complimentary champagne service they provided to their guests. It’s a nice experience but maybe I’m just a lady travelling alone and I couldn’t speak Japanese at all, the waitress didn’t serve me the same way as she served other people in the cafe. When all of them got two glasses of free drinks, one cocktail and one champagne, she only gave me one champagne and didn’t offer me the cocktail. And the day after, there was a nice staff who served me properly and I finally realized that I am entitled to two drinks.
(Sigh)The experience was like buying a Chanel bag. The bag was pricey but the chain of the bag just suddenly fall apart
while you are using it for the very first time. My advice is: Don’t use their catering services especially for the in-room dining plan. There are so many better choices out there in the city. The room and the service of the staff are great tho.

ZZhi YiThis got to be one of the best rappers i had ever been to, (besides a few really high end resort in Bali). This resort service is impeccable. The kaiseki dinner is really delicious. The Garden is so well curated that it can compete with some of the shrine garden. And last but not least the onsen is truly relaxing and beautiful. One tip, is it place the herbal pack into the onsen early. It takes 6 hours for it to fully diffuse into the onsen.

KKoh Kabout a 10-minute walk from Shin-Omiya Station. Right next to it is the Mi Nara Shopping Mall, which has a large hypermarket and several shops selling affordable clothing — including lovely children’s wear. To reach Mi Nara, head to the left side of the hotel, toward the JW Marriott Hotel.
Highly recommend:
- Mount Yoshino (steep slopes hiking) lots of persimmon, kiwi trees, pomegranate. Be sure to prepare some food, water in your bag & most importantly hiking stick. We took 4 hours of walking to complete the entire Mount Yoshino (from right with shrines to left with restaurant, fruit trees).
Places to explore near the hotel:
1️⃣ Mi Nara Shopping Mall – Perfect for groceries and daily essentials, with prices more affordable than Aeon Supermarket.
2️⃣ Montbell Village & Bellside Café – A great spot for outdoor gear, and the café serves delicious pasta, pizza, and pastries.
- Ask the hotel staff for a printed copy of Bus 28’s schedule to Montbell (the bus stop is right in front of JW Marriott). From Montbell, it’s a short walk to Hard Off / Off House, where you can browse a fun selection of secondhand items — clothes, bags, toys, and household goods.
- The breakfast buffet offers a good variety and is worth the price — ¥3,000 per person, payable at the front desk.
- The room was clean and comfortable. I recommend renting a humidifier if you experience a dry nose due to the cold air. Also, wearing a mask outdoors helps to stay comfortable in dry or chilly weather.
- A free shuttle bus is available — check with the lobby staff for a printed copy of the schedule.

SShin-Woei FannThe location of this hotel is pretty well, the Kintetsu Nara station is just across the street and the main station of the Nara buses is just in front of the door.
I would not suggest foreign people to go to the East shopping street nearby for food since there are many restaurant closed and hard to get good meals.
As the biggest chain hotel, this Tokoyo inn also has the convenient check in and out protocols and has staff can speak fluent English.
The only obvious problem is the noise can always come in through the closed window. I lived in 4th floor but could still hear clearly when people down in the back street talking during the late night,

Convenient and quiet location. Not too many tourists. Grocery and a lot of deers near.
Paid parking about 700 yens per weekday.
I couldn't eat Japanese breakfast. It was too conceptual and unusual. But western breakfast is ok.
I recommend you not to pay for hotel breakfast. Because of its unpalatable and at a high price for this place.
Handy laundry. One washing costs 600 yens.

Wwee teeEl hotel que he reservado a través de Trip fue un gran hotel, porque el hotel no recibió la reserva aparentemente. ******* no fue útil con la reubicación (aunque pensaba que había disponibilidad en otros hoteles), afirmando que la clase del hotel es diferente de la que he reservado. En el hotel, el hotel es muy agradable y limpio, pero no me gustaba el sitio mencionado en la cama doble Pero sólo puede acomodar a 1 persona! ? ¡Finalmente tenemos que pagar ¥3k adicional para la tercera persona (mi hija más joven) por 2 habitaciones. 1 habitación para mí y la otra para las dos hijas porque el gerente era adamant alrededor de 1 habitación por persona, sin embargo después de pagar la ¥3k adicional, estaba bien con 2 personas en una habitación. No tenía sentido a menos que se me explicó que es algunas reglas gubernamentales para permitir sólo 1 dormitorio doble para 1 persona

UUsuario invitadoMe alojé en este hotel después de mediados de abril. En general, la habitación y el servicio fueron decentes. Sin embargo, el aire acondicionado fue una gran decepción. El hotel usa un sistema centralizado, lo que significa que no puedes controlar la temperatura tú mismo. Por desgracia, estaba fijada en unos 27-28 °C, ¡demasiado caliente! Era realmente incómodo y no pude dormir bien.
Al final, tuve que abrir la ventana solo para que entrara un poco de aire fresco. Me di cuenta de que muchas otras habitaciones también tenían las ventanas abiertas; ¡parece que no era el único que tenía problemas! La verdad es que el aire acondicionado era prácticamente inútil. Es mejor apagarlo por completo y simplemente disfrutar del aire fresco del exterior.

OObsiDianaReservamos porque tuvimos que quedarnos un día más en Nara, algo que no habíamos planeado. Era el único hotel que ofrecía una noche a un precio razonable un sábado por la noche, haciendo la reserva ese mismo día. El personal fue súper amable, el lugar estaba limpio y a tiro de piedra de la estación.
Aunque soy consciente de que en Japón las camas y almohadas suelen ser ligeramente más firmes que en Europa, lo cierto es que he dormido en suelos de aeropuertos más cómodos. Hacía algo de frío en la habitación, pero, al ser tan pequeñita, con usar el secador unos minutos acabó siendo habitable. Si tienes alma de faquir, te recomiendo este hotel, porque en todo lo demás tiene un 9,9.

ZZiyuershengEl hotel de la cama de amor es muy grande, el baño y el baño están separados por separado. El baño también es muy grande y el suministro está completo porque es una cadena. También he fijado otro hotel de la casa de la noche. Es muy cómodo. La cama es muy grande. Aunque el hotel de la cama de amor vive solo, no hay problema. Es un poco difícil encontrar el lugar, pero la luz de la noche es muy grande. Light, intenta no salir la noche, después de todo, en la montaña.
