Yalakhom is situated at a remote yet accessible village in Himachal Pradesh called - Kalgha. Kalgha comes in the way to Kheerganga Trek, so those who are planning to go for the trek may consider staying at Yalakhom, as it is a great place to rewind and relax. I stayed at Yalakhom in the first week of June, the weather was pleasant and the rains made my stay even more pleasurable. When you will be at Yalakhom there won’t be any view you could take your eyes off. The people managing the homestay are also great. They take their time in cooking food, but they will serve you the freshest food possible with wide variety to choose from, that too at such a remote place. The wonderful folks at Yalakhom also offer accompanied guidance for treks, however I wasn’t aware of this until my final day at Yalakhom, so I couldn’t make use of the same. Pemba bhai, Agrimji, Resham bhai and Yangzee didi must be specifically mentioned. They will accomodate you as you are their friend, while respecting your privacy at the same time. I highly recommend Yalakhom notwithstanding your purpose of vacation, be it trekking or taking a peaceful break at the Himalayas.

Our stay at Bookmark Resorts Manali exceeded all expectations and left me thoroughly impressed! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The accommodations were top-notch, offering spacious and elegantly designed rooms that provided both comfort and luxury. The dining experience was a culinary delight, with a wide array of delicious dishes that satisfied my palate. What truly sets Bookmark Resorts apart is the impeccable service provided by the staff, who went above and beyond to cater to my every need with a genuine smile. Whether it was arranging transportation or providing recommendations for local attractions, they were always ready to assist with the utmost professionalism. My time at Bookmark Resorts Manali was nothing short of magical, and I wholeheartedly give it a five-star rating.

Mi estancia en Treebo Premium The Takey's in Manali fue muy buena, excepto para algunos problemas. Aquí está la habitación con vistas al valle. Buena nueva climatización. Buenas camas. La limpieza es razonable/OK. Pero: las toallas estaban llenas de puntos sucios/negros, así que les pedí que los reemplazara. No me sentí seguro beber agua caliente de una caldera sucia, incluso después de pedirle que la sustituya, me dieron otra sucia. Así que hice mi mejor esfuerzo para limpiarla por mí mismo. También, los cristales no estaban muy limpios, La TV no funcionaba (no hay señal de WiFi para ver la TV digital / Youtube). El desayuno era simple, pero bueno.

My stay started with a big smile of the guy at the reception. He was very kind. As all staff is great. Good quality beds and mattresses in the dorms. Free drinking water and wifi. You must download the hostels app to open your room and locker (by Bluetooth) but it worked fine. Location pretty good, only about 3km to Kasol. If you don't have your own transport, there are often buses. I recommend this hostel to other backpackers.

Zostel Dobhi is an awesome hostel. The common areas and restaurant are very well maintained and nicely decorated. Very friendly manager. Good dormitory room. Comfortable beds. Good hot shower. Only the beds don't have curtains for privacy like in some other hostels, maybe an idea for the future. I really liked my stay here and highly recommend Zostel Dobhi to all travelers!

Location is perfect, not too far from mall road but still peaceful. The view from the hotel is beautiful. Staff is courteous and the food feels fresh and flavourful. Loved the calm ambiance of the place.

We had a great stay at gostops kasol. Property is clean and safe. Staff is humble and helpful. I’ll highly recommend it especially for solo female travelers.

Room was very cozy. Staff is cordial and helpful. Hot water was there on 1st day but on 2nd day the water was barely warm. Food quality is good although the dal tadka was not upto the mark. Only drawback is that the hotel does not have a lift and rooms with mountain view are on 4th floor and you have to climb up the stairs for luxury room.

Trippy Turtle Hostel is a very nice backpackers hostel in Manali, conveniently located near Mall Road and also within walking distance from Old Manali. The staff is very friendly and the vibe is good. Drinking water dispensers are available. A good hot shower. Good wifi. I recommend this hostel to all travellers.
