El hotel de Gumaya, que se encuentra en el centro de la ciudad, tiene un buen sabor en la mayoría de los aspectos, especialmente el desayuno. estalls (normalmente será demasiado salino, demasiado blando o simplemente bleh..) pero en gumaya, somos como viajar a cada restaurante tradicional, el verdadero gudeg, la muy bonita lumpia y ikan bandeng, el caliente soto ayam semarang y el jamu de casa y jugos. Todo es excelente.

This was my first time staying at Khas Semarang. I arrived around 12 pm and the hotel was very crowded because there was an event that day. The staff told me check-in was only at 2 pm, which is fine, but the problem was there were basically no seats available in the lobby to wait. They suggested I sit in the restaurant instead. Honestly that felt a bit strange since it’s Ramadan and people are fasting. Anyway, as a local I didn’t really mind, so I just went to Paragon Mall which is about 10 minutes away to kill some time. The room itself was quite clean and had all the basic amenities, so no issue there. For sahur, I requested breakfast to be delivered at 3 am. It only arrived around 3:30 am. When I asked the staff why it was late, they said they had to deliver to more than 20 rooms first. That made me wonder why they don’t just open a simple sahur buffet to make things easier for everyone. The soto was actually nice, but unfortunately it was already cold by the time it arrived. Food overall was decent. One thing I like about this hotel is the location. There are quite a few nice cafés around and many of them are open 24 hours, so it’s easy to find somewhere to hang out late at night if you want.

staff are all really nice. The room is clean but still have some water marks, probably because of the water quality here.

El hotel era muy limpio! La arquitectura es hermosa con una combinación negra y blanca de color y una estructura elegante minimalista. El servicio fue sorprendente! El personal también es muy amable y útil! ¡Puedo decir con confianza que es una de las mejores 4 estrellas en semarang, y merece ser en la lista de 4 estrellas selecciona!

The hotel staff were nice and very helpful. Despite that the room is quite old-style, the room is clean and well maintained. The breakfast was also good, plenty of food varieties. Location is also very strategic

Como se ha mencionado en mi anterior revisión, el hotel mañana ofrece una excelente experiencia y unas instalaciones de envejecimiento. La estancia fue buena la comida fue sorprendente, pero tengo que decir que en la clase de cuatro estrellas del hotel en el centro de la mismarang hay muchas otras opciones, así que siente libre de ver a los primeros pero no deje el nuevotel completamente fuera de su lista.

My fav hotel for staycation in Semarang but this time it’s not my lovely experience. First room I got has leaked aircon, it dripped every second so they offered a new room. In new room, the aircon didn’t work properly but I didn’t want to complain anymore as I didn’t want to change room again and again. Booked with breakfast but they said it’s too few guests on that day so they will just let me choose my breakfast from the menu. Only one menu for each guest. I didn’t like this because the room has no proper table to eat. Even there’s only one chair. So yeah, not my best experience. But maybe I’ll give it another try. This hotel usually offered good service. Maybe just wrong timing and situation for me.

El personal era muy servicial, la habitación estaba sucia pero bastante agradable y la cama muy cómoda. Me impresionó mucho la comida, cenamos en el hotel y desayunamos, ambos fueron geniales. Si puedes hacer la vista gorda ante el ”cansancio”, recomendaría este hotel.
