Hoteles en Oxford con desayuno

My first night was marred by the fact that the people next door had very loud voices, this was there normal speaking voice but sadly the walls are very thin, too thin to be acceptable. I had to wear eye plugs and only fell asleep because I was exhausted. Also outside my room is numerous units which made a noise. The sound of someone using the shower was annoying too. Though things looked okay in room and the bed was comfortable these other things spoiled my much needed break. The first thing I told the receptionist on arrival was I do not require anyone to tidy my room. When I got back from my meeting on the next day my room had been cleaned, bed made etc. The feedback card that I had not finished filling in was removed from my room. Most annoying.  So being close to Oxford station and having a Sainsbury’s next door were the best things about this hotel.

The location was very nice, calm and peaceful. Cinema and restaurants are the neighbours. Walkable distance to many super markets. The welcoming was great and the staff service was top notch. Morning breakfast was awesome with many varieties - meat, beans, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns, milk, cereal, fruits, bread, butter, jam, pancakes and many more to enjoy. Totally, the stay was awesome.

¡Muy bien! Instalaciones: En primer lugar, el hotel ofrece aparcamiento gratuito, ubicado en un patio independiente detrás del hotel, con espacio para unos 10 coches. Visitamos en temporada baja y nos encantó encontrar muchas plazas libres. Teniendo en cuenta que el aparcamiento es caro en el Reino Unido, esto supone un ahorro considerable. Sin embargo, el aparcamiento solo está disponible hasta las 12 del mediodía, hora de salida, así que tenga cuidado de no sobrevender. Servicio: El recepcionista fue muy amable y explicó las instrucciones para el check-in con calma. No hay ascensor, así que hay que subir las escaleras. Estábamos en el ático, y las escaleras estrechas no eran ideales para maletas grandes. Sin embargo, la habitación era espaciosa y tenía buena calefacción, lo que la convirtió en una estancia muy cómoda. Entorno: Oxford City está a poco más de diez minutos a pie, y aunque la calle está muy transitada por peatones y coches, no es peligrosa. En resumen, recomiendo este lugar encarecidamente.

We were attending a wedding in Oxford and the city centre hotels were very expensive. The reviews for the Black Boy were good so we booked.  It was a joy to stay here and we had a fabulous weekend..  Great location - about 10 mins in taxi from centre and bus stop about 5 mins or so walk.  Buses went to the city centre and railway station.  The room was lovely, as were the welcoming staff.  Breakfasts were very good and the pub had a nice atmosphere and an outside garden area.  Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Oxford.

At the centre of the lovely town of Oxford. Easily walkable to every attractions and a large shopping mall Westgate. If you drive, the 24hrs carpark at the mall will be helpful.

Excelente ubicación y servicios, y la habitación estaba muy limpia. Sin embargo, hay obras cerca y durarán hasta mediados de 2026. Las camas eran muy cómodas, pero la presión del agua era un poco baja. El desayuno estuvo genial.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and overall the room was comfortable and tidy. Its location is very convenient, close to Oxford city centre, making it easy to get around and explore the city on foot or by public transport. One important thing to note is that there is no free parking available, and the hotel does not provide on-site parking spaces. If you’re travelling by car, you’ll need to arrange nearby paid parking in advance. Overall, a good option for cleanliness and location, but not ideal if you’re driving.
