Each room has its own unique view and partition, and the rooms are quiet and elegant, with soft lighting and selected bedding to help you get a good night's sleep; the hotel also has an Internet system (you need to bring your own computer), so you can enjoy the Internet regardless of business meetings.

VVNFYu Peng Villa was our first and BEST accommodation on this Yilan-Taroko-SML-Alishan road trip. We arrived much later than expected and were relieved that our message to Trip.com got through to the guesthouse. When we drove up to the place (an easy find with GPS), a member of the staff walked up to our car and guided us to the drop off point.
I love the designer vibes of the property which is well maintained with a sizeable garden and plenty of flowers in bloom. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The showers worked and there was hot water. The western-style breakfast was generous in portion and delicious.
Best of all was the hospitality extended to us. It was the only place where we felt truly welcomed on this 8-day trip. The staff here chatted with us, gave advice on places of interest and sent us off with fruit from the orchard. After the great experience here, all the other places we stayed at pale drastically in comparison.
If you're planning to visit the Kavalan Distillery, this place is a great stayover option! Truly a slice of paradise.

NNanolurvLove this hotel even though the location is terrible, i love the staff, the hospitality, the never ending events they have, went to the rooftop bar to sit and chill with vouchers provided for ever 350 TWD spent. The individual onsen in each room was awesome. I stayed here twice in 2 months. Breakfast was wonderful! The waitress remembered us and our room numbers. They low-key kept a look out for a table for 6. Their restaurant was spacious, which makes the seating lesser and exquisite. Best experience ever. Will return if i go to Jiao Xi!

JJosh_ChuaRecientemente se quedó en Just Sleep Jiaoxi y tuvo una visita muy agradable y cómoda. Como dos adultos mayores, apreciamos lo conveniente que la ubicación del hotel estaba cerca de las principales atracciones, las opciones de comida y la estación de tren, pero todavía lo suficientemente tranquila para un descanso adecuado.
La habitación era limpia, bien mantenida y agradablemente espacial. El baño de primavera caliente en la habitación era un espectáculo para nosotros. Fue fácil de usar, muy relajado, y perfecto para calmar los músculos cansados al final del día. La cama y las cucharas estaban cómodas, y dormimos bien durante toda nuestra estancia.
El personal era amable, paciente y siempre dispuesto a ayudar con las direcciones y sugerencias.
El desayuno ofrece una variedad agradable, con opciones sencillas pero sabrosas que nos acomodaban bien.
En general, Just Sleep Jiaoxi nos dio una estancia relajada, sin fuss con gran valor.

UUsuario invitadoThe hotel is conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the station, though walking wasn’t ideal during my stay due to rain. It’s a grand hotel and very walkable (3-10 minutes) to supermarkets, convenience stores, cafés, and even the night market.
We chose this hotel because it’s one of the few that offers dual hot and cold spring tubs in the room. Bath salts were provided for the cold spring bath and replenished daily, which was a nice touch.
There was a minor issue with one of the tubs leaking, but service recovery was excellent! Housekeeping checked promptly (within 4 minutes from our call) and we were switched to another room within 30 minutes, which was very much appreciated.
The room, especially the toilet area, was spacious and matched the photos shown online. While some furniture and the tubs were slightly worn, there were no hygiene issues and the bed was comfortable. No noise issue at all.
Breakfast had a good spread of Western and Chinese options. We arrived close to closing time, but the staff ensured we were well taken care of, which we appreciated.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed ourselves.

UUsuario anónimoFirst of all, this is a very old hotel that has seen truly better days. While maintained well, it has retained it's original furnishings and decor from the 1980s and 1990s. Staying here reminded me of my childhood travelling with my family in the 80s. The actual room does not look anything like the ones shown on the website. The hard floors mean you should wear their slippers or bring your own room slippers. The hot spring water advertised is just hot spring water pipes that go into your bathtub. There is a step that emulates hot spa step in the bathtub.
The breakfast was good with nice braised meat and eggs that you can put over your rice or porridge. There's also hot soy milk. But no hot tea, only coffee. The staff look tired but hard working.
There was a grumpy older lady receiptionist when we checked in and she was pretty rough in the check in process. E.g. ”if you don't put a number here, and you leave things in the hotel, we'll just throw them away! Just to tell you first.”
Room was quite small or cosy, depending on your perspective. The only thing new was the air-conditioner. The TV set had all the settings for channels but none worked. Internet wifi was not quite working too.
