Tenemos una estancia excepcional verdaderamente una experiencia 11/10. El ambiente se mantuvo tranquilo y hermoso, lo que le permitió relajarse y sentirse tranquilo durante toda nuestra estancia. La hospitalidad era excelente. Los huéspedes fueron increíblemente calientes, amables y fáciles, haciendo que nos sentamos en casa desde el momento en que llegamos. 100% recommended! Rare gem! We stayed at this cabin-style guesthouse by a dammed mountain lake and had the best experience we've had in a long time. It’s not a commercial resort hotel, but a warm, family-run retreat with all the professionalism of a luxury stay—only better. From the very beginning, the hosts went above and beyond, even helping us plan before arrival via WeChat. Once there, they continued to amaze us with their hospitality: attentive, friendly, and seemingly tireless in making sure we were comfortable. The cabins are beautiful and cozy, with incredible views over the lake and surrounding cloudy mountains. There are great viewing platforms around the property to relax and soak in the scenery. The rooms were spotless, stylish, and family-friendly, with cute cats roaming around that made us feel even more at home. The cooking was another highlight—homemade meals tailored to our personal preferences, always fresh and hearty after long hikes. They knew the area well and gave us excellent tips on scenic spots and restaurants. This is a place run with heart and soul. If you're looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and personal mountain escape, this is the place! 100% recommended!

La descripción del hotel no le hace justicia al lugar. La villa que reservamos forma parte de un edificio de tres plantas. Por las fotos, parece que nuestra reserva solo tiene una bañera. En realidad, hay una bañera en un amplio cuarto de baño, una sala de estar y un rincón para tomar té en cada una de las tres habitaciones de la villa. Además, hay otra sala de estar, una cocina, una lavadora e incluso una sauna exterior junto a las tres habitaciones para reuniones comunes. El Maestro de Té Lee fue muy paciente al llevarnos a recolectar hojas de té durante los dos días que estuvimos allí. Nos enseñó a preparar té amarillo un día (que requiere fermentación) y té verde al día siguiente. Podíamos llevarnos el té verde en el momento, pero como el té amarillo requiere tiempo, nos lo enviaba por correo. El Maestro de Té Lee acababa de ganar un concurso cuando fuimos y apreciamos enormemente su experiencia y su generosidad al compartir sus conocimientos. Era muy accesible y un gran experto en su arte. Un detalle importante: estábamos en plena zona rural y el transporte escasea. Una noche, cenamos tarde en un pueblo cercano, así que tuvimos que volver andando al hotel, ya de noche, con coches pasando a toda velocidad. Además, al estar en el campo, los sitios cierran temprano y casi no encontramos dónde cenar, ya que terminamos el día tarde tras la excursión al monte Mengding. Las distancias entre los lugares son bastante grandes y el didi no es muy común. El personal de cocina y el de limpieza fueron muy amables y atentos. Sería buena idea que proporcionaran detergente para la ropa, ya que hay lavadoras disponibles.

I was absolutely delighted with my stay at the Vision Hotel! The staff was incedibly nice and made sure I had everything I needed. Eventhough I cannot speak Mandarin, they went the extra mile to make sure I felt comfortable and had everything I needed. The room and bed are super comfortable and the tea experience was very enjoyable too. Below the building you have a lot of food spots available as well as a daily market and food market on the parallel street to the west of the city. I enjoyed my stay in Ya’an and would definitely love to come back. It is a very laidback city with very generous people. PS the Panda Base in Bifengxi is a must visit - along with the scenic spot of Bifeng Georg and the suspension bridge. It’s a magical place and you can see a lot of Pandas without too many people around. I went on a tuesday and it was very calm and relaxing.

This hostel was recommended by my friend and I really felt very satisfying to stay at this hostel during my visit to Ya’an Bifengxia Panda Base. It is around 5-10 minutes walking distance from the hostel to the panda base. A simple local style breakfast was provided by the hostel and it was just nice to me. For dinner, we can separately order and have it at the hostel that was cooked by the owner’s father. It was really home-cooked taste kind of dinner👍. The owner of this hostel, Mr. Liu (刘老板）is really very helpful and friendly👍. He always ensure all the arrangements are well planned for the guest especially the transportation as well as the entrance ticket to the panda base. I will definitely stay at this hostel again for my next panda trip at Bifengxia.

Spent one night in this hotel as I came to see the pandas. The nearest entrance of the panda parc to the hotel is located 400m which is very convenient. However, to buy the ticket (if not done online)- then you have to go to the tourist center which is located about 3.5kms from the hotel (you can use a free shuttle bus to reach there). The hotel owner helped me for the ticket and asked someone to purchase the ticket on my behalf - however, this ticket did not allow me to do all activities inside the park (not sure exactly the reason why). The hotel room was cleaned and the terrace really beautiful, and it would be definitely perfect for summer season. In winter, however it is really cold inside the room as there is no heater (still there is a heated blanket). So during this season, you need to bring warm clothes to face the cold! For one night this is still manageable as the water of the shower is on the other hand so nice and warm even burning… May be a suggestion I would make = it could be great if you could recommend taxi drivers to reach your hotel. I used Didi - but that was an error - the Didi driver lost himself inside the mountain (wondering if he did not do it on purpose) and demanded twice the price and was almost shouting the whole trip - I gave him what he wanted for peace of mind and close the topic (but the experience was not pleasant and even scary !) On the way back, thanks to the hotel owner recommendation, I did not get any issue as I took the bus from the tourist center to Ya’an bus station for 6 CNY (these buses are yellow color and the bus station is located after the curve of the tourist center). The room is beautiful. The pictures don't lie and one of the most beautiful bathrooms we had during our trip in China. The room watches the hills and the tea garden. Although it was Dragon Boat Festival, the hotel was very quiet. The receptionist was amazingly helpfull. The restaurant was closed (or there is none, I'm not sure) and we cycled all the way up the mountain to get to the hotel so we didn't want to leave the hotel anymore after a long day cycling. The receptionist suggested she could get us food by taxi in the city and helped us order at her favourite restaurant. The food was amazing and we were very thankful we could enjoy our nice food in the hotel. Also the breakfast was really nice. It is a buffet.
