Reservé este hotel por error. Mi colega chino había recomendado un hotel cerca de Wanda Mall, que está más centralizado y ofrece mejor accesibilidad a los lugares que necesito ir, pero no leo bien chino lo suficiente para notar la diferencia al reservar. El hotel está cerca de un centro comercial, pero no es ideal, pero está cerca de un centro comercial si tienes tiempo para relajarte y comprar. La habitación estaba limpia, lo que realmente hizo mi día. Después de muchos días de trabajo, volviendo a una habitación que estaba bien y limpia por completo fue muy cómoda. El personal también era amable y una gran ayuda, ayudarán cualquier cosa que yo les pidió. En general, todavía recomiendo este hotel.

Durante las vacaciones de invierno de mi hija, nos quedamos en el hotel por una noche y dos días. Ella nos cuidó detenidamente durante toda nuestra estancia, y podíamos crear tantas memorias felices. The Yitel in Taicang is a fantastic hotel.  From the great front desk staff allowing us a bit of an early check in, to the wonderful breakfast, great room with a lovely big bathtub, to the very warm and friendly housekeeping and restaurant staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Yitel. We have been staying at many hotels over the last few months in China, and this hotel is a standout.  The location in central Taicang is great, with a shopping mall and Walmart right across the street, and many other shops, restaurants, banks, and more within easy walking distance.  Our large Queen room was great - very large, incredibly comfortable and well appointed - and, again, the great big bathtub was a special treat.  There is a great in house laundry - most importantly, the best dryer we have used at a ny of the hotels we have stayed in.  Great hotel and would highly recommend.

The hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests. The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries. Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower. The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums. In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs. Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me. But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

Interesting lift design. Bedroom is spacious and has a good list of TV programmes including English channels and movies on demand (free). Wifi plug available for a free 10 mins charge. Scenic view of a Chinese-design pond at the back yard (pond leads to a larger river at the ancient town). All in all a great location. Note though: hotel doesn’t provide ice cubes and does not have a fridge in the room

The hotel is beauand well designed. Rooms were spacious but not so clean. The cleaning ladies would come as early as 8:30-9am to clean the rooms and even when we lealdt the rooms at 9am, they did the Barr minimum. Cups were still used and not washed and put back. Cleaning was done around our things and floors were barely done in the living space/entrance space. Overall nice place for families and has different activities to keep both kids and adults entertained.
