El hotel está muy bien situado, cerca de una estación de metro en una calle con muchos restaurantes. ¡Tenía una habitación ”interna”, que era grande, no hay luz que se derramaba, no hay sonidos. I stayed at this hotel from August 9th to 13th in room 3412. After booking, I happened to read some negative reviews, so I arrived with a bit of hesitation. However, I honestly don't understand the criticism. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and attentive to every detail throughout my stay. When I ran into a minor issue during my last few days, the hotel supervisor resolved it very quickly. The staff at the Chinese restaurant were also wonderful; even though we ordered dinner quite late, they always treated us with great politeness and kindness, and the takeout food was delicious. The hotel breakfasts offer a huge variety, and the staff constantly replenish everything. The housekeeping team was equally lovely, and their supervisor was very attentive. The location is superb—close to the Longmen Grottoes, and taking a Didi (ride-hailing) anywhere is very affordable. The hotel genuinely exceeded my expectations in the best way possible. We had a very pleasant 4 night stay at the Banshan Siji Hotel in Luoyang. The resort is beautiful and secluded, away from all of the hustle and bustle of downtown Luoyang while remaining accessible. The location is very convenient to the high speed rail station, Longmen Grottoes, Guang Lin Temple and Peony Museum. It’s a bit further away to get to White Horse Temple, Lintang Gate and Luoyi Ancient City. However, the hotel offers a very convenient and comfortable private shuttle for train/airport transfer and a daily trips to or from town. Above all, I have to commend the team at this hotel for their excellent service and extremely friendly attitude. Everyone went out of their way to offer assistance for any of our needs and always with a smile. A huge bonus - they offered a complementary same-day laundry service which we used several times during our stay taking care of a major hassle on extended travels. From the reception, front desk, porters, drivers and housekeepers, we received top notch service rivalling hotels we’ve stayed at worldwide. The breakfast also deserves special mention. The selection was not as extensive as buffets at some major hotels but the quality was excellent and we found it to be more than enough to start each day before sightseeing. In addition to a small self serve area, you can order large bowls soup or noodles and they also provide a beautiful tray of delicacies. We very much enjoyed each day’s breakfast. Finally, the room we stayed in, with a private hot spring tub and private patio was spacious, clean, modern and beautiful. We enjoyed use the tub after full days of sightseeing to ease aching muscles and the bed was very comfortable. On our final night, we did experience a problem with a light switch not turn lights but the staff were quick to provide us another room so we could get to sleep. Another great example of their dedication to quality service. Overall, I was very pleased to have discovered this beautiful gem in Luoyang and it made our visit to this wonderful city that much more special and memorable.

Firstly the reason why my wife and I decided on this boutique hotel was to sample the overall standard of the new crop of small locally operated boutique hotels springing out over China. Generally happy with our choice and decision. We were greeted upon checking in and daily when we went out and coming back by the young man who was managing the establishment. A great personal touch was that he actually came out of his office and greeted us at the courtyard with a ready smile. Location was good as it was relatively near to Longmen Grotto and also the famous lamb soup for breakfast (we were given complimentary vouchers for our first day breakfast by the hotel. Although the place was across the road from the hotel, we had to walk about 1.1km each way as the crossing could only be made at the traffic light zebra crossing. One ”romantic” feeling my wife and I had was hearing the low rumbling of the freight train transversing across the hotel. It reminded us of staying in the English countryside and hearing the train in the distance. Light sleepers might find this distracting but we are h eavy sleepers. Another selling point of this hotel was the well manicured courtyard planted with lots of different varieties of flowering plants and trees. It was an excellent place for us to relax in the late afternoon after some heavy sightseeing. The only downside and hopefully the hotel operator can improve is that the floor of the room seems to be a bit dusty because the floor towel in the washroom started to show stains of dust. However, everything else is clean especially the important items like bedding and towels. Strawberries were bought after visiting Erlitou Archaeological Museum and Site

The location is great, walkable to both the old railway station and long distance bus station. Tons of local restaurants and stores are right downstairs. The room is very clean and decorated with a modern style, equipped with a big TV. The breakfast included is typical with many choices, and some local specialty food like beef soup, hula soup. Although located in the downtown area, the hotel is actually pretty quiet inside. We also like the roof garden very much. It has a live bamboo wall and a couple of pavilions, excellent for resting and light exercises.

I would like to express our sincere appreciation for the professionalism and warm hospitality we experienced during our recent stay at the Luoyang Marriott. From the friendly doormen who welcomed us upon arrival to the pleasant fragrance that greeted us in the elegant, modern lobby, every aspect of our stay reflected comfort and attention to detail. The front desk staff were consistently courteous and attentive, making our visit both relaxing and enjoyable. We stayed in Room 2112, which was exceptionally well maintained. The bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom and shower were spotless, and the minibar was properly stocked. Although our sightseeing schedule in Luoyang kept us busy and prevented us from using the indoor swimming pool, it looked beautiful and very inviting. The breakfast buffet offered an impressive variety of options, including hot and cold dishes, an egg station, fresh salads, cheeses and cold cuts, desserts, espresso coffee, teas, and cold beverages. I have a sensitivity to seed oils, and I would especially like to thank the kind lady at the egg station who graciously prepared my eggs in butter each morning. I would also like to recognize Bella, Rachel, and Felix at the front desk for their outstanding assistance and for kindly accommodating our request to extend our stay by an extra night. Special thanks as well to Alvin in the breakfast restaurant, who always had my favorite picante sauce ready and provided exceptional service. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail made us feel truly valued. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. The service, hospitality, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. In fact, our 8-year-old daughter has already said that she wants to return to Luoyang—and stay at the Marriott again.

Hotel agradable y tranquilo, muy cerca de las Grutas. Camas cómodas. Excelente relación calidad-precio. Tenga en cuenta que el hotel está dentro del complejo de las Grutas, por lo que deberá caminar entre 15 y 20 minutos desde las paradas de taxi o contactar con el hotel para que le recojan en su pequeño coche descapotable.
