I can say this is the best hotel experience I’ve had so far in China. Truly unique luxury at a very reasonable price. Of course you get a top notch service as expected from a 5 star hotel. Our booking included activities such as afternoon tea, a private photography session and evening cocktails. If you are visiting Linfen/Shanxi and surroundings to visit real historic sites, you will appreciate the work put in the design of this hotel. This hotel is the perfect combination between new and old, combining modern hotel qualities such as sound proofing, smart lighting, air conditioning and bathroom amenities with historic Qing dynasty exterior. The building exteriors have been moved and rebuilt from nearby villages.

Hotel is within walking distance from Linfenxi railway station. room is big for 2 pax bed is comfortable. Breakfast cost 30yuan is worth the price. There's a super market next to hotel. Went to Xiaoxitian and Yunqiushan and Hukou.

Travelled as a group of five, including three elderly people, and the hotel was truly amazing. They paid attention to the elderly, picked us up from the train station, and dropped us off. The bedroom was comfortable, and the breakfast spread was delicious. If you enjoy street food and history, the hotel is in the centre of it all. It is a five-minute car ride from the ancestral tree museum, and just outside the hotel, you can smell a street filled with food, fresh fruits, and vegetables. I would definitely visit again if I wanted to see the museum again. Thank you for an amazing experience.

The hotel is centrally located. It is very clean with excellent amenities. I very much enjoyed my stay and everyone was extremely helpful.

The hotel gave us free upgrades which were really great and appreciated. Breakfast was nice. However, some guests were smoking in the eating area the first day of our stay. The hotel should impose stricter restrictions on smokers.

It is a pleasant surprise when we check in the hotel room and found such an amazing interior design, and that all the facilities in the room are very good. We have a very comfortable stay. Will surely stay again if we have a chance to come by this area in the future.

Clean and spacious room with polite and professional staff. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a gift when checking out. The location is also convenient.

You just can't beat the location of the hotel. The pedestrian street with the many hawkers lining the street at night for me. Is a real plus. I had the windows opened and even then, can barely hear the traffic outside. The window were opened only because of personal preference of having fresh air from outside. The hotel staff I encountered were always polite.
