Hoteles en Banff con desayuno

El hotel estaba en reformas y el aire acondicionado central olía fuertemente a obra. La lavadora estaba sucia; había que pagar una moneda para limpiarla. Pero tuve que lavar la ropa durante mi viaje, así que pasé una eternidad limpiando la lavadora y la secadora. Se nota que nadie ha limpiado estas máquinas antes; la suciedad que producen es realmente asquerosa.

We had a great stay at Otter Hotel . It’s a 20 mins walk to Banff Town or get a complimentary Roam bus card during the stay from the hotel reception.  We had 2 dinners & breakfast daily at the Hotel only restaurant - Good Folk.  Food is amazing , the serving staff are friendly & knowledgeable.  Love the hot tubs on the first floor overlooking the Rockies …  Will definitely return if visit Banff again ..

The room was excellent. It had all the amenities and was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was amazing and the service was top-notch.

El hotel tiene una piscina termal, pero no me metí porque no llevaba traje de baño. Sin embargo, vi a personas de origen indio en la piscina que tampoco se metieron, aunque sí llevaban traje de baño. El aparcamiento del hotel es cómodo, pero hay que saber leer un mapa. En general, estuvo bastante bien.

En general, es una buena estancia en Banff. Caminando a la calle de correo. Hay una cosa que puede mejorarse, sólo puede ir al parque de pisos después de inspeccionar en el conteo. No obstante, no hay espacio en el frente del hotel para estacionar temporalmente su coche mientras se ingresa.

Hotel is a bit far from town but it provides free town shuttle. We booked the balcony room hoping to get a better view. We have rooms with big trees in front. When asked if we can change rooms, he won’t change since it’s not booked direct. The balcony room has little heat as the heater is smaller and the room is colder.

Hoteles en El País de Gales: Este hotel es un hotel de 2 estrellas. No hay vista, pero es tranquilo. Otros se quejan de ruido/privacidad si se enfrentan a la calle en el primer piso. Una piscina se cerró para la renovación y bloqueó algunas de las vistas desde el techo.

Hay un famoso restaurante de granja y fuego en el hotel que no hemos tenido que probar. El estacionamiento interior es $5 CAD.

We did a little staycation in Banff from Calgary and overall had a great time. The cave pool was a big hit, but just a heads up that it’s not really a “swimming pool.” It’s more like a large cave-style hot tub. It’s shallow, and the water is fairly hot, so the kids couldn’t really swim or put their faces under the water. The cave setup is very cool though, and the adults really enjoyed it for relaxing. The dry sauna was also great. We stayed in a suite with two double beds, plus a living area with a sofa bed, a dining area, and a kitchenette. We were happy with the layout. The suite was clean, but it is definitely dated. One downside was the TVs. I know you don’t go to Banff to sit and watch TV, but it would be nice if they updated to smart TVs. If you’re traveling with kids, I’d suggest bringing a Fire Stick or Chromecast. Even an HDMI cable to connect a laptop would work, but make sure you download movies ahead of time because the Wi-Fi in our area was pretty spotty and the kids kept losing connection. The front desk staff were fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and efficient. They made parking easy, provided bus passes, and explained local info without us having to ask a bunch of questions. We’d stay here again, and next time we’ll definitely bring something for the TV so we can do an easy movie night after a busy day.

We stayed at Royal Canadian Lodge in Banff from March 26–29 with my 7-year-old daughter, and overall we had a great experience. Check-in was simple and straightforward. We arrived in the early evening, and Jason at the front desk was the most approachable and helpful hotel staff member I have ever dealt with. He remembered my daughter’s name, greeted her every day, checked in with us throughout our stay, and added little touches that made the trip feel extra special for both of us. The renovated room itself was fairly standard for a hotel room, but comfortable. Our room had two queen beds, which worked well for us. The bathroom had a shower only, with no bathtub, but that was not an issue. The pillows were big and lumpy, all 8 of the pillows in our room were too high/tall for my daughter to use comfortably. There are robes provided in the room, it would be a nice touch if they could also provide kids size robes. We had a mini fridge, coffee maker with coffee, and kettle with tea provided in the room. We ordered room service one night and tried the pulled pork poutine, which was the daily special from the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not very good, and I would not recommend it. The TV included free cable and on-demand programming, as well as pay-per-view movies. I had brought my laptop and an HDMI cord, and we were able to connect it to the TV easily to watch our own movies. Watching on-demand, my daughter discovered The Simpsons and loved it (lol) The pool area was a big highlight for us. The pool is salt water rather than chlorine. The water itself was on the cooler side, but there was also a good-sized hot tub and a large steam room. My daughter quickly made friends with another family staying at the hotel, and the kids spent multiple hours a day in the pool together. The gym was small but functional. In the four days we were there, it was empty every time we walked by. Parking is $20 per day, which does add up. There is also free street parking behind the hotel if you are able to find a spot. One fun feature in the lobby was the robot, which the kids absolutely loved. We were told that after construction is complete, it will be delivering items to guest rooms. During our stay it moved around the lobby, told jokes, and handed out free apples. The hotel was reasonably priced compared with other options in the area. I chose it specifically for the pool setup, knowing we would be spending a lot of time there, and it worked out really well for that. Shops and restaurants on the main street were about a 10-minute walk away, or you could take the bus that stops outside the neighboring hotel for $2 per ride, with kids riding free. I would definitely stay here again in the future. The price, location, rooms, and pool make this a very family-friendly hotel option in Banff. Biggest thank you to Jason at the front desk for the spectacular service we enjoyed.
