The beach is less than 50 yards from the front door, it is wide and clean, with no high-rises to crowd the beach. Surfside Beach is wonderful because it is close to restaurants in the center of town without a lot of traffic. Your children can ride their bikes in the street or fish at the nearby lake.There's plenty to do in the area. Surfside Beach has a nice little downtown, with open-air restaurants, small shops, and a fishing pier. The location of Surfside Beach is great if golf is part of your vacation. Surfside is about 20 minutes north Pawley's Island, and about 30 minutes south of North Myrtle Beach. There are over 100 golf courses within a 30 minutes drive.The home is just a few blocks to the Surfside Pier and several great family restaurants. Murrells Inlet with its renowned seafood restaurants is just 5 miles south. Go five miles north and find the new Market Common at the old Air Force base property and step into another world of great restaurants like Tommy Bahamas and PF Changs or visit Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant for great brew and eats!
