Come stay at our Craftsman Bungalow located in the heart of Bend's Historic District in Old Bend. Built in 1919, this home is on the National Historical Register. We kept the historical elements, but added modern conveniences like central air conditioning & heating, high-end dishwasher, new gas range, remote start gas fireplace and more. Sidewalks on our street make for safe & easy walking. Close to all the best that Bend offers but far enough away for quiet enjoyment! Walk to Downtown, Old Mill District, Crux & other breweries, Market of Choice, Jackson's Corner and more - all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Bend's latest hot spot, The Box Factory, with restaurants, Immersion Brewing, Avid Cider, Spoked, Food carts, yoga and summer and winter sports gear rentals is also a 5 minute walk. Enjoy front porch sitting or relax in the private backyard. You truly get a feel for Bend and its residents in our vibrant neighborhood. Each of the 2 bedrooms has a memory foam queen bed with soft sheets and a comforter. In each bedroom closet, there is a rollaway twin bed that can be used for the 5th or 6th person (recommended for children and or small adults). The main bathroom is large and remodeled with a new walk-in shower. A second full bathroom was added in 2023 and has gorgeous period touches like marble tiling and a pedestal sink. The large remodeled basement offers room to spread out with sofa, large screen TV, beer fridge, dart board and washer and dryer machines. The private backyard has a brand new paver patio, lots of grass, a propane BBQ, comfortable seating, great sun exposure and patio sail shades. The backyard is fully enclosed with a 6 ft fence making it dog friendly & kid safe.
