Everything about Stanlunds Inn is lovely - the owners, the motel, the view and the area. We immediately felt at home and were so impressed that we added an extra night's stay to the two we had booked. Hope to return.

Stanlunds is not a new property, but is very well kept up. The rooms are spacious with a small kitchen and would be great for a longer stay when you might be doing some of your own cooking. The manager is friendly and helpful and gives a great first impression when you check in. We'll definitely stay here again.

I really enjoy staying at Stanlunds Inn when I travel to Borrego Springs. Been to some others, but this place has a great location, and is always clean and comfortable.

Mid-century buildings, well maintained and clean. The grounds were immaculate and the owner was very accommodating. Quiet neighborhood not far from restaurants. The pool area is a great place to hang out!

I was very appreciative to be able to stay close to the park, booking only a week in advance. Lots of places were sold out. It was quite expensive for the amenities provided, but did not seem above market rate when I looked at other places nearby, though I did not compare amenities. There is a pool that looked very nice, but we didn't get to try it. It's a short drive to restaurants, which is very convenient. The park is not far. You can be at a trailhead within minutes. The room we had was basic and serviceable. The bed was OK, but we found it hard. There did not seem to be a remote for the TV, but it could be operated without one. There is not much else to say. No tea, hot water or cold filtered water for your water bottle. I'm not saying that's bad, just how it is. I am happy with my choice of motel. The landlord was pleasant.

This motel is straight out of 1960, with minimal updating. But it's clean and functional and eager to please. Bathroom and bed were OK, if nothing fancy. A good budget choice.
